What do you need to bring  with you when you head to the Maine?

On the Water in Maine’s vacation rental homes will be cleaned well when you arrive - so you don't need to bring any cleaning equiptment or supplies. Each of our Maine vacation homes are furnished to the owner's tastes. You'll need to bring all your linens if you are staying in Bayside.  Otherwise, all our properties include everything you need to settle right in.  This brief check list is provided in an attempt to assist you with your packing and shopping.

For the Beach/Lake:

• sun block/lotion/lip balm
• beach umbrella
• boogie boards/rafts
• sunglasses
• beach chairs
• beach towels
• kayaks
• camera/film
• fishing rods
• tackle box

For your rental cottage:

• aluminum foil/plastic wrap
• bath soap
• groceries/condiments
• staple items
• baby equipment(if needed)
• hair dryer
• napkins
• special toys and games for kids (leave the video games behind though – you’re in Maine!)

Personal Items:

• cash/travelers checks
• prescription medications
• toothbrush/toothpaste/floss
• shampoo/conditioner
• clothes

Just in case:

• radio with fresh batteries
• flashlights with fresh batteries
• extra shoes
