You're on vacation! Leave the work to us.  On the Water in Maine Inc. - Rental Convenience Services Division offers a variety of vacation services that can help make your arrival and departure when staying at our, or any vacation property, hotel, or inn in the Midcoast area more convenient. On the Water in Maine is a different type of rental company. Rather than offering landscaping and maintenance services to our owners, we have, since the beginning, focused on servicing our guests needs. All of our convenience service rentals are available to both Customers of On the Water in Maine, and non-Customers. Anyone coming to Mid-Coast Maine looking for necessity rentals may choose to rent our gear just as others have for over 5 years. Baby Gear & Other Rental Items (bikes, fire pits, cribs, strollers, etc.)
Naturally, we are also a full service baby rental gear company. We offer our baby rental equipment for rent not only to our guests, but anyone coming to the Midcoast Maine area looking to rent baby gear. Please let us know of any special needs you may have for your vacation with us.  Sometimes it is worth renting a crib, stroller, bike or other item from us instead of overloading your car and making your trip uncomfortable. If your rental property doesn't include a fire pit, as many don't - let us know if you want one. We'll deliver one to the property - if the owner permits it - before you arrive.   Just let us know what you need - we probably rent it!

Pricing: Cribs with bumpers and sheet, $60 per week; Pak' N Plays, $40 per week; Twin Cots with sheets and blanket, $30 per week; Bed rails for kids, $20 per week; Car seats, $55 per week; Jogging Strollers, $45 per week; High Chairs, $30 per week; Toy Kits, $30 per week.

Linen Rentals
If your rental cottage does not provide linens, they may be rented on a weekly basis through pre-arranged plans with us. They will be ready and on your beds when you arrive.   Sheet sets include 2 sheets and 2 pillowcases. The current rates, subject to change, are as follows:
Sheets: King set $12.00/ Queen set $11.00 / Double set $9.00 /Single set $7.50
Towels: Bath towel $3.15 / Hand towel$2.25 / Bath mat $3.50 / Wash cloth $1.50

Baby Sitting

A family vacation in Maine is great! However, it is nice to get out one night without the kids and have time to yourselves as a couple. Take advantage of our babysitting services. Our certified babysitters aren't teenagers. They are 20-something pre-school teachers with state licenses. They come with great references and will come to your vacation property to relieve you for a night out. We charge $15 per hour for the first two kids, then $2.50 per hour for each additional kid up to 6 kids.

Early Check-In
Anxious to start your vacation at one of our properties?  So are we. 
On the Water in Maine Inc. is pleased to offer Early Check-Ins at 1 PM for $100.  A limited number are available each day. Please call us to check for availability.  Please note that exterior landscaping and hot tub service may still not be completed until after 4 PM.   All other Check-Ins AFTER 4PM.

Housekeeping Service
Your property’s rental price includes cleaning.  But, maybe you are coming to the area to stay in your own vacation home, or that of someone else's. We're pleased to offer the added convenience of housekeeping services during your stay, especially if your stay is for longer than a week. You may arrange for our housekeepers to clean during your stay.  Our cleaning service prices are as follows:
1-3 bedrooms @ $45.00
4-5 bedrooms @ $65.00 (unless otherwise stated)
6-7 bedrooms @ $90.00
8+ bedrooms, please call the office for pricing.

Want more relaxation? Have our maid service make up the beds for you. Rates vary depending on the number of bedrooms within your rental home. Please contact us for arrangements and pricing.

Trip Cancellation Insurance
On the Water in Maine has contracted with CSA, Inc. in order to offer you Trip Cancellation insurance. This insurance can protect your vacation investment against hurricane evacuations and other unforeseen circumstances which could cause cancellation of your trip and forfeiture of payments - this insurance coverage now includes cancellation due to job loss. Security Deposit Protection
On the Water in Maine has contracted with CSA, Inc. in order to offer you Security Deposit Protection insurance. This insurance can protect you from having to pay for any accidental damages to your vacation rental up to $3,000. We require all our guests to purchase this insurance. Golf Carts
On the Water in Maine offers the only golf cart rentals in Maine that you can rent for non-commercial uses off of a golf course. Why? Because many of our wedding properties are in large open spaces where a golf cart is needed to transport people with mobility challenges. Our Golf Carts are available for $350 per event including delivery and pick-up. We even have utility trailers for the golf carts so that you can transport chairs and supplies to remote locations easily.
