The On the Water in Maine team made the rental process quite simple. Appreciated the updates we received ahead of our time at the cottage. Did feel a bit frustrated at check out. Tried to leave a phone message as well as an email message to alert them about a broken wine glass and a face cloth (possibly two) brought home by mistake but the email was returned twice.

Property was wonderful and layout made it quite convenient for my husband who is in a wheelchair. It was a beautiful place and seemed to have nearly everything we needed. The only change I would make would be to have a small wedge type riser that could be placed against entrance door to make it easier for wheelchair. We were not able to bring husband's power chair inside but had another chair to use so it was not a big problem..

very favorable, we had an issue with the stove upon our arrival, and the property manager responded promptly, arriving at the rental within 20 minutes and repaired the stove.

Clam Cove is exactly what you think of when you think of a Maine vacation. The view from the back porch is beautiful and there is nothing more relaxing then watching the tide roll in and out. The location is very convenient for going out to dinner or if you decide make your own meals there is a fully stocked grocery store minutes away. The Maine small town feel is also minutes away by visiting the neighboring communities of Rockland and Camden.

Kinney's Port o Call is a well planned comfortable space right on the water. This year we found a beautifully remodeled kitchen and bathroom and new living room furniture. Thank you. We've stayed many times. In warm weather the deck is our favorite, but this year it was the new kitchen. This property has always been well maintained, although this time there were a few problems.

We liked Beachcomber just fine but we prefer our dear beloved Owl's Head. Fingers crossed that you can find something for us there in 2023!!

This house was an amazing setting to create family memories that will last forever. We laughed, relaxed, spent so much time on the dock and around the table together. We will always remember the time we shared together here at Maitri. Hope to be back again in this joyful place. Thank you

This house is a dream. The location is wonderful--quiet, very scenic, with easy, thoughtful access to the water (no rickety dock or precarious steps; set up for docktails). Beds are very comfortable, and the layout of the house is perfect for a family with adult/teenage kids or couples. The suite on the lower level allows for maximum privacy in a relatively small house. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and serving. All the furniture and lighting are thoughtfully and tastefully done. Beth's and the Pour Farm are within a short drive. Happy days for sure in this house.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. We were very pleased to be only 800 feet from the water and within walking distance to downtown and other conveniences.

Great service, easy process

This is our third time staying in this property. Of course we love the view but also love the unique architecture and location.

Awesome as always! The team is very responsive and easy to work with. We had an issue with the electronic keypad and the On the Water team resolved it quickly.

This was our third stay at the property and it holds a special place in our hearts. we love the view, the upstairs bedroom, the porch, and the pool.

Our stay was a week and our favorite part of the stay was my husband thoroughly enjoyed fishing in the canoe each day!

Meg was fantastic, patient answering all my questions. Information she provided was helpful and accurate. Also, administrative aspects, contract, etc, werent unduly burdensome.

Wonderful setting with excellent water view. Loved the back porch overlooking the harbor. Kitchen was well-outfitted, with good selection of cookware, plates, etc. Quickly felt right at home.

OTWM is great. That is why we keep returning year after year. One year no properties were available so we went with another agency. Ugh. Disaster. Another time a friend and I split a house in Rockport we found on VRBO. UGH again. I like that OTWM has both my and the owners interests in mind. I like that they make sure the listings are accurate, and that there is a minimum standards list. I like that they only represent nice properties, not houses where someone died and the family decided to make some money by renting it out but was too cheap to replace the 40 year old towels or empty all the takeout containers the dead person collected in the final 20 years of their life. (this really was the VRBO house).

Everything. It was perfect. Being on the water and having kayaks was so wonderful. Doing yoga every morning on the deck or in the sunroom was wonderful. Beautiful casual decor.

The On the Water in Maine team is great to work with and they make the whole reservation process seamless.

The Bar Island cottage best feature is how close it is to the water.

We were VERY pleased with the cleanliness of the cottage. It was our biggest concern when committing to the cottage online. It's a small cottage. But, good for two people. We liked that it was close to the water. And it was very clean.
