This was our second time working with On the Water in Maine. Both times we had excellent experience in reserving a rental. They are very good at responding to questions and making the vacation rental process hassle free and easy. But the good service doesn't stop there. Once on the property it is easy to check in and someone is always available to answer question and deal with problems. We had a problem with the toilet on a Sunday and called On the Water in Maine, they sent someone to fix the problem right away and were very nice about it. I will rent from them again and will highly recommend them to friends and family. The homes are exactly as pictured and even better in person.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bay Breeze. A beautiful house with nicely maintained grounds in a very private setting. Our dogs loved running around in the beautiful and fenced in back yard and exploring the grounds. The kitchen was my favorite part of the house and it had everything you needed to create a delicious meal for the whole family. The location was also a plus. Close to many restaurants and supermarkets and Shopping in towns of Camden and Rockland. We will definitely come back to this house again.

Your people at On the Water in Maine are the best. You responded quickly to a small,issue that came our way.

The Beachcomber is our favorite rental in all the years we have been vacationing in Maine.

Responsive, patient and helpful . Although we were ready to leave by 9:00 AM (long drive) it would be nice to have checkout at 11:00. Good for breakfast at owls head general store and get back to load car for long drive home. As currently constituted., the rental is essentially for 6 days...( arrive after 4 PM. leave before 10 AM....personally, I'd prefer to pay an additional fee for cleaning later if no new guests arriving immediately following our stay...in our case, late October. (ON THE WATER IN MAINE COMMENT: - Why didn't you call and ask us? As you pointed out, the property was vacant after you departed, we would have happily allowed you to stay longer. We just had no idea that you wanted to.)

Very well equipped. Pots and pans more than adequate and like new. Comfortable beds. Warm house even though temperatures dropped to 34 degrees. No lack of dishes and glasses. Very comfortable and cozy.

The staff at On the Water in Maine are professional, prompt, courteous and friendly. They were great to work with.

This is a great cottage. It is an "old" house with lots of the character that comes with one. It is in a great location, on the Damariscotta River. Easy walking to the town and to one of the best seafood markets we have ever found.

On the Water in Maine is the most professional rental service I have worked with. I appreciate the attention to detail: the booking process and payment procedure; communication between booking and arriving including "what to bring" lists; and information notebook at the rental site. I felt secure that if a problem where to arise it would be handled quickly. i have already recommended On the Water in Maine to others.

The Lightkeeper is a lovely home and was perfect for the two of us. The view is absolutely amazing looking directly into the harbor from the hilltop. Every thing we needed was supplied and in excellent working order. The decor of this home is very pleasing and the furniture comfortable. The kitchen is large and easy to navigate, cook and dine in. The location is peaceful and great for walks to the park or into Rockport. The central location on the coast makes it convenient for day trips in either direction.

We had very little contact with the agency because everything was spelled out on website and e-mails.

We could not have asked for a better location! The views were outstanding. Immediate vicinity perfect for walking and biking.

On the Water in Maine is a very well organized company. Our questions were answered as fast as we asked and then some. Information for everything you could think of was provided.

Grove Street Cottage was perfect for our visit to Maine. The house is a short walk to the town of Camden. Information packet in the house as well as the info when we checked in helped our stay be even more enjoyable. Loved the Unity Fair. Our one day with a downpour and flooding in the area, we found puzzles to spend our time and could still sit on the wonderful front porch! Our three couples were very comfortable there.

Working with On the Water in Maine was a pleasure. This was our first time renting through this company and if we have the opportunity we will use them again.

The view of the lake and surrounding area is AWESOME. The house is large and spacious and the location can't be beat.

This is the second time we've rented from On the Water in Maine. The first time, I was a bit dizzy with all the emails and instructions. We've never had such detailed communications with a rental agency before. This time, I was very grateful to be able to express some concerns and ask questions (by phone) about the property before we rented (we had a less-than-satisfactory experience last year from a VRBO rental, and were a bit wary.) This time, I was not taken by surprise at all the emails and reminders and I appreciated them. Also, during the week I did have one occasion to call about maintenance, and that was painless.

A wonderful house and spectacular setting! We especially enjoyed the spaciousness of the house -- plenty of room for folks to find a quiet corner or all gather in one room, whatever is desired. Many extra, unexpected touches made our stay a pleasure -- like two TVs, the gas stove that kept things cozy, so many bathrooms, and very comfortable couches and chairs--plenty of seating for all of us. Least favorite feature? The twin beds were uncomfortable.

The Fords (who own On the Water in Maine) are a great family to work with, very caring and helpful whether you need a fishing guide or a beauty salon they know the best I the area.

You can't beat sitting on a deck overlooking beautiful Penobscot Bay. And Camden offers so much to do , shopping, hiking, good restaurants, and not too far for day trips to Acadia, Bar Harbor to the north and Portland to the south.

On the Water in Maine were very quick with responses. The contract was very clear with bold lettering on the important items. When we phoned to say we had arrived it was stressed to call the office with ANY problems. The phone call was personal in regards that Justin said the weather looked good for the week, it felt like we were staying at a friends house.

Open floor plan with an amazing view of the bay. The huge deck was incredible. The rental was immaculate and stocked with everything we needed. The grounds were very well maintained. The rental was at the end of a very quiet street but just up the main road were many restaurants and shops. We appreciated the brochures that were collected for us. There were so many "little touches" like little reading lights in each bedroom.

The team at On the Water in Maine are extremely friendly, efficient, helpful and hands on.

My wife and I spent two very happy weeks in Sea Cliff Cottage last month. We thought that the edge-of-the-ocean location was stunning, and we never tired of the views over Penobscot Bay from the deck and the terrace. We also very much liked the internal dcor of the property, and its furnishings. The situation is also ideal for both Camden and Rockland.

The Staff at On the Water in Maine are wonderful, making sure that we have everything we need. They answered any questions we had and made the check in/check out process very easy. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a Maine getaway.

The cottage was very cozy and the setting was beautiful which is why we booked this particular cottage again.

On the Water in Maine was a well organized, detail oriented company. Professional in every way, and they provided plenty of information about the rental, the policies, and general instructions. Arranging for the rental was a seamless process.

The house met our needs perfectly for a 2 week stay in Camden. We were especially pleased with the large, bright master bedroom. All furniture was comfortable; plenty of lamps for good lighting; good, comfortable beds and very nice bedding. The location is good and within a short walking distance to the harbor. The cottage has a "cottage look" and dcor inside---very attractive.

We loved the house and it fit our needs! The only thing we really wished it had was a pantry or a cabinet to store our food. Counter space was limited, so storing our food on top of the counter was difficult. Loved having a bathroom in every bedroom!

The rental process was clear and easy, and the staff were efficient and helpful. We appreciated being informed that an early check-in was possible.

This was a lovely house: incredibly clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped, and the furniture was very comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the water and the privacy and quiet of the setting. The only thing that would make it better for us would be if there were a king-sized bed. Still, even without this, we would happily return.

As I noted the first time I reviewed the agency, this is a great rental agency! I would not hesitate to recommend them. Consummate professionals. You will not be disappointed with your experience with this group.

This was our second stay at Atlantic Sunrise this season. It's a lovely property with great amenities and we enjoyed this stay even more than the first. Weather was perfect and I got a kick out of the wild turkeys that strolled through once a day!
