The view of the bay is magnificent. What a pleasure to watch the tides, the weather patterns, the boats. The lawn is perfectly manicured, and we loved just playing in the yard with the kids.

North Cottage is charming and cozy ! It is beautifully and comfortably appointed.... Lots of light and lovely views . All guest needs are anticipated ...LOTS of wonderful amenities enhanced the stay. Definitely 5 star !

I was not in charge of booking so can not comment here...but heard it was great.

North Cottage is just what you would wish for in a rental in Maine. Cottage look with gray shingles. The interior is very comfortable with everything you need in the way of kitchen and bedrooms. It has three bedrooms and three full baths. The room I was in on the second floor was the smallest and still had plenty of room and a great view of the water. All the rooms are furnished with top of the line and comfortable chairs and sofas. We used the fireplace on cool nights and the deck was great for outdoor grilling or just watching the stars. It was very quiet and peaceful setting. Port Clyde is very close. We went to the Port Clyde general store for breakfast and had coffee at a sweet coffee shop next to it that had a nice deck with tables overlooking the harbor. I also took the ferry from Port Clyde to Monehegan Island. Highly recommend that too. The Cottage is convenient to Camden for restaurants and shopping. Hope to visit again next summer.

This cottage is or favorite. We love the upgrades and were so happy to enjoy the wonderful beds, well equipped kitchen and the perfect spot to totally unwind and share with our family and friends.

The Blue Heron Cottage is exceptionally well maintained and up-to-date. The cottage has a most pleasing wide deck in the treetops that affords a lovely view across the water to the west.

On the Water in Maine is an extremely professional organization. They made our rental experience so easy with website information, prompt answers to questions, suggestions, payment facilitation and reminders. They left helpful brochures and maps at the house. The staff was available for assistance at any time. They even went out their way to help us send a fax for an emergency situation that arose during our stay. We send a special thanks to Justin, Meg and to the young man who helped with our fax.

This home is not only beautiful but comfortable too. Three different sleeping areas afford privacy for guests, while family room, dining room and decks provide areas to accommodate entire families. The views of the water are incredible! The homeowners have provided very comfortable seating arrangements on two different decks in order to take advantage of the extraordinary scenery. The lot also contains a picturesque stream. Furnishings inside the house are attractive and inviting.

Every encounter over the many months from rental to arrival with On the Water in Maine was pleasant. The response time was almost automatic and helpful. Justin, the owner, even came out Sunday am after we got there with a homemade remedy to a problem! Professional, friendly and helpful!

From the moment you pull in the drive and see the Bay through the windows you feel the stress of the world leave your body. This home is wonderful. From the views from the living area, the infinity hot tub, the heated bathroom floors and the magical feel of the sitting window in the master, one may never want to leave. The home is well appointed in every way. The beds are wonderful! listening to the waves every night when we went to sleep and waking up to the sunrise every morning right outside the window....ahhhhhhhh. We LOVED this home!

Guest Comment: My only disappointment was after notifying management of a power outage and being assured we would have power when we returned later that day, it took yet another call 6 hrs later before any action was taken. In the end the issue was resolved thankfully. On the Water in Maine comment: We checked online to see if there were any power outages in the area, and there was. We checked again online 1 hour later, and power was back on in the area. Unfortunately, the power was out at Harbor Light due to account issue where the Owner moved from Washington State to Texas and his bills hadn't caught up with him. So, coincidentally, the power was shut off at the same time as an outage in the area. As the Guest noted, we did get it resolved within an hour of the Guest returning for the day.

We had a wonderful stay at Harbor Light. The cottage itself was beautiful, well appointed and made our stay relaxing. We were out hiking and exploring most of the time but we looked forward to returning to the charming cottage to sip wine on the deck and watch the boats out in the harbor. My favorite feature was the privacy and view of the harbor. My husbands favorite feature was the heating system.

The reservation process was a breeze, and all our questions were answered promptly. We received an email reminder regarding our balance due, so there were no surprise charges to our credit card. As promised, On the Water in Maine, Inc. sent us an email a couple of weeks prior to our stay with specific driving directions and with websites for us to research things to do during our stay.

The front porch deck was the best. It was amazing to simply sit in the rocker and watch the water or have a peaceful dinner outside at the table. Make sure you bring your binoculars. Right from the deck, we saw beautiful sailboats, as well as a seal in the water . . . and an eagle flew by the deck two nights in a row! The Harmony Cottage was very, very well stocked. We have rented homes previously via Airbnb and FlipKey and brought many things from home with us (utensils, knives, mugs, etc.) because things were inevitably missing from the homes. However, the Harmony Cottage provided much more than we could have ever needed or wanted. Many thanks to the gracious owners who shared their home with us.

I had a better experience speaking with an agent at OTWM than using the website. Especially when vacationing with small children and babies it was hard to find the right accommodations, but after speaking with Meg we found the right place for the right budget.

We liked the house and worked great for 3 couples with kids. The view of the lake was very lovely and convenient to the house. Easy drive into Camden and other locations.

Comunication was prompt.

Fabulous 5 day stay in September for 4 Military Veteran couples from TX, IN, CT, and ME. So comfortable, and private yet close to everything. Beautiful grounds and views of ocean sunsets and sunrises.

You have a really efficient and professional company that's a pleasure to deal with.

This wonderfully private cottage is a special find. We came back this year for three weeks and wished for more. Mid-coast Maine is perfect for explorations both north and south, from Castine to Rockland to Owl's Head. The cottage's sunroom is a wonderful addition to a really cute place and because light streams in through all the windows and skylights, it is bright even on a foggy or rainy day.

The reservation, check-in and check-out process all went very smoothly.

Very nice water views and very comfortable in most respects.

We had a wonderful vacation at The Blue Lupine!I had stayed at the house years ago when Helen had it as a B, and B. Loved it then, and it is even better now. You have done a really nice job renovating the property. My sons and their wives had never been to Maine, and I wanted to show them my favorite place in the country, so was delighted to find the Blue Lupine open again.

Due to some obligations at home, we were not sure we would be taking our normal fall trip to Maine this year. We had some last minute changes in our plans and booked late in the season. We focused on properties that were appropriate for just two people, yet located in-town or close to town. The property we chose allowed us to walk to Rockport Harbor and the restaurants and attractions in downtown Rockport.

The house is beautiful. It was perfect for our needs. The fact that each couple had their own bathroom was an added bonus. The house is situated in such a manner as to provide ocean views from every bedroom and the living areas as well. The view is spectacular. The beautifully landscaped lawn leads right out to chairs overlooking the water. We also enjoyed trails through the woods that led down to the beach.

Our experience in working with this company was fantastic. We found you thorough, fair, honest and professional. We would definitely work with your company again if travelling to the area. Overall very impressed with the level of customer service.

This property proved to be an excellent location for so many things to do. The historic cottage was endearingly quirky and the view and setting were fabulous. A great blend of quintessential Maine scenery, nature and quaint village life. Loved the rustic look and feel. Loved the setting, the deck over the river, walking to dinner, listening to the live music across the river at Schooner's Landing with a glass of wine.
