We had a great experience with On the Water in Maine. This is our third time working with them. Justin is easy to work with and was very friendly. We will book through them again!
The Seafarer Cottage was delightful! It was very private and very quiet so we felt as if we were the only ones in the area. We had a beautiful view from every room of the harbor and could see the Rockland light house; and the ferry to Northport/Vinalhaven making its trips to North Haven/Vinalhaven. The kitchen had every thing one could think of the cook and/or bake, mostly Wolfgang Puck kitchenware. It is difficult to climb down to the rocky beach but it is doable during low tide. Loved the cottage overall!

On the Water in Maine provided a high end and well thought threw rental experience. We knew what to expect from day one and felt we could call or email anytime with questions. The guest book with check in and check out procedures had all kinds of useful information, we loved the tips on what to do - a week itinerary from the owners. I would highly recommend them to friends and family.
We loved the ever changing panoramic view from Seafarer's cozy living room and front deck. The kitchen was really well stocked with quality cook ware so it was easy to prepare meals and enjoy the grounding vibe of the country side. The gardens are an inviting way to enter the property. Lots of windows also made for great airflow so the cottage never felt stuffy or hot. It was a little slice of Heaven on Earth.

Very friendly staff.
The views from the home were beautiful no matter what the weather. Daybreak and sunset especially nice.
The house was very well equipped so not much was left to purchase. The grill was really appreciated.
