Perkins Point Cottage provides a quiet retreat, just 2 miles from downtown Damariscotta. Perched on a slope overlooking the water, you have expansive views of Damariscotta River and the surrounding flora. The large deck is a perfect space for both enjoying the sunshine and relaxing in the evening. The easy access to the kitchen from the deck makes eating outdoors a breeze. Situated at the end of a deadend road, the property is very private.
With 3 comfortable bedrooms, sleeping 6 total, the home allows enough room for the whole family. The three separate sitting areas provides tons of space to relax in private, or gather as a group. The land around the home is great for lawn games. Launch a kayak from the private dock and pier, or play on the small sandy beach at the waters edge.
The path to the water from the house drops about 100 feet over a 300 ft grade, so - while not "steep" - it is a hill to climb or go down. People with walking/mobility challenges will not be able to access the water easily.
Boats Included? No, but Midcoast Kayak in downtown Damariscotta will rent kayaks and paddle boards as well as take guests on a tour.
