We have rented multiple houses from On the Water in Maine, spanning the last 6yrs.or so.This house in Camden and one in Owls head and several on different Lakes with Boats for my daughter & children. Never once has there been an issue that wasn't taken care of immediately-when you call, you get immediate personal service from Justin or Meg.Our vacations are Effortless and their properties all top-notch.I wouldn't rent from Any one else.
This is our 5th or 6th summer in this location. Its very convenient to Downtown Camden and all their events. It overlooks the Harbor and has a secluded back Porch to sit and read or chat. The inside is very roomy and well appointed.

On the Water in Maine Inc. has always been a pleasure to deal with. Their staff is very professional and attentive to details. There was an issue with the grill being locked away. Within an hour of calling the office, we had our grill!
This was our second time staying at Head of the Harbor. We really like the open floor plan as well as all of the windows offering a view of the harbor and town.

Every experience with working with "On the Water in Maine" organization was excellent. the staff was very friendly and informative when we were making our initial plans, the information provided prior to arrival was descriptive and clear (in every case, we received communications on the exact day that the Agency had committed to - this has not been our consistent experience with other properties and agencies). Additionally, the Property Information Book was very clear and, during our stay, the staff was very responsive to questions and requests. Overall, we evaluate the support and organization as very friendly, efficient, and professional.
We have rented vacation houses in Camden for about 15 of the last 17 years. Some of our rentals have been better than others, but with this background, our family rates "Head of the Harbor" as our best rental ever. The primary reasons for this evaluation are: spacious, comfortable, clean, very well-equipped, dedicated off-street parking, and an outstanding location close to the library, downtown, restaurants, etc. With four adults and one seven year-old Grandson, we made full use of the three bedrooms (and three bathrooms) and washer/dryer, but never felt cramped. Additionally, the porch was very comfortable and convenient for either a morning cup of coffee or just looking at the harbor. Bottom Line - the entire family loved Head of the Harbor and, depending on our schedules, intend to stay there again.
