This is an adult house. While children are certainly welcome, we think adults will be worried that children might knock over art work and sculptures or scratch the beautiful floors - thus taking away from the relaxation the property offers.

Driving down the 1/2 mile long private road to Split Rock Cove, you'll pass old stone foundations, sheep barns and gardens. Arriving at Split Rock, you'll be greeted by a beautiful landscaped rotunda with a waterfall pond.

Entering the inside of the home, you'll be greeted by a large entryway and powder room. From this point, you can proceed into the cathedral-like living room, the kitchen with ample space and Wolf appliances, or upstairs to the Master Suite.

The Master Suite is completely enclosed in the upper level of the mid-section of the cottage. It features a queen sized bed facing the rising sun and crashing waves, a balcony, and large bathroom with a garden tub, marble stall shower and his and her sinks.

Passing through the cathedral living room - you enter the library with high-speed internet connections as well as a flat screen tv and gas fireplace. There is a bedroom with two twins, a full bath, and a private porch. Upstairs are two more bedrooms, both queens, and they share a bathroom with a tub and shower stall. There is a private deck on the second level that both bedrooms share.

The east side of the house beyond the kitchen and Master suite features a laundry room and screened porch with great views of the fields and ocean.

Downstairs, a small fitness room area will allow anyone the opportunity to keep in shape if walking to the beach or down the road to Waterman's Beach Lobster Pound (restaurant) doesn't fulfill your exercise needs.

The pebble beach is a short walk through the mown fields. The 2000 feet of beach is perfect for launching a kayak, or excellent for beach fires and lobster bakes. Click HERE to see a large overhead shot of the property for additional reference.

Our professional staff will prepare a lobster bake on the beach for your group if you desire. A personal chef is acquainted with the kitchen and is available for dinner preparation. A wait staff is also available for larger parties, call for details.

Boat Rentals and other amenities offered through On the Water in Maine Inc. are not available at all the properties we offer for rent. Boat Rentals through Maine Watercraft Rentals Inc. are offered Sunday morning to Friday after 4pm and include free delivery to the property.

Any Off-Season bookings may be subject to a utility rate surcharge. Off-Season stays of less than 7 nights may also be subject to a cleaning fee.
