This property has AMAZING VIEWS looking out over Lermond Pond along with a great sense of privacy. There is 230 feet of water frontage. Owned by an artist, the property is thoughtfully and creatively furnished in a comfortable and unique fashion that is warm and inviting for any guests. Swimming, kayaking, and relaxing are great from the dock in front of the house! There is a swim float in deeper water as well.
Entering the cottage, the laundry and 1/2 bathroom are on your left, a well equipped kitchen is on your right, and stairs in front of you lead to the lower level sleeping areas. Through the kitchen is access to the dining area, living area with gas fireplace, and stairs to the 2nd floor bedroom. The deck is accessed from the first floor as well. Downstairs, a queen bed sleeping area leads into a gorgeous updated bathroom. A twin bedroom is accessed through a private door, that also has a 2nd door into the bathroom. Access to the ground level and path to the dock is out a sliding door. Upstairs is a comfortable queen bedroom with tub/shower bathroom and great views of the lake. Please note, this is a three level property so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Lermond Pond offers great fishing and recreation and the towns of Union, Camden, and Rockland are all within reasonable drive to get to shopping, dining, and sightseeing.
*Cat Disclosure: The Owner of this property, while using it, has a cat in the dwelling. The property is of course thoroughly cleaned after the owner's personal use and before rentals, but in case a renter could have severe allergies to cats, we like to disclose this information.

BOATS INCLUDED? None, however if you are looking to rent kayaks, Maine Sport or Ducktrap Kayaks offer those and can deliver them to the Property. Personal Watercrafts (jet skiis) are not permitted on Lermond Pond. Power boats are allowed on Lermond Pond, but there is no launch from this property and no public launch. However, there is a public launch at Alford Lake, which is a 6 minute drive from the cottage.

LINENS & TOWELS: The rental of this property includes all bed linens and towels. Beds will be made up upon arrival and there will be one bath towel and wash cloth per listed occupancy, one hand bath towel per bedroom, one bath mat towel per bathroom, and two kitchen towels in the kitchen. Additional bath towels can be rented.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: No, the owner of this property does not require a security deposit, however, guests are still financially responsible for non-accidental damages at the property.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Easy Lane Cottage. The inside of the house and exterior were better than we imagined or saw in the pictures. The place was absolutely comfy, and the beds were comfy too. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived.

My favorite feature was the early morning sunrise and the access to the pond. We brought our inflatable kayaks and after getting everything settled, we went on the pond for a quick kayak. As the weather got colder, the fireplace was a nice add.

This house is a dream. The location is wonderful--quiet, very scenic, with easy, thoughtful access to the water (no rickety dock or precarious steps; set up for docktails). Beds are very comfortable, and the layout of the house is perfect for a family with adult/teenage kids or couples. The suite on the lower level allows for maximum privacy in a relatively small house. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and serving. All the furniture and lighting are thoughtfully and tastefully done. Beth's and the Pour Farm are within a short drive. Happy days for sure in this house.

Very pretty property. The lakefront was very usable. We swam and boated. The best feature was that the yard was fenced in which made it much easier with our dogs. Kitchen was well appointed. Bonus to have multiple bathrooms. WiFi and phone service was good. We are afternoon people so we'd prefer a location with afternoon sun but there was sun on the lawn later in the afternoon when the dock got shady.

The stay was excellent. We had a great time. The house was super clean, the amenities were great. We brought things that already provided which is a good. Fishing in Lermond pond was great. The gas fire place warmed up the cool nights and the grill was a huge plus. All in all it was great vacation. The upper bedroom view was exceptional, night and day. One area of concern to pass along to the owners. The front step up into the house is very high and a bit tilted down to the right. Possibly a handle placed next to the door in order to grab a hold stepping up and in. My 78 Y.O. Mother in law had only that concern. Thanks again.

As always, On the Water in Maine was easy to rent from. I appreciated the communication via e-mail and the check-in/out process couldn't be easier.

Easy Lane Cottage is in a great location. Near Camden, Rockland and many beautiful hiking trails. It is peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed going out in the pond on a rented canoe, reading in the hammock, sitting by the fire and having bonfires. The accommodations were perfect for our group of five.
