White Pines is one of the only rental properties on Megunticook Lake with a lawn leading right down to the water. It sits in the oldest developed section of the lake, near the dam, where everyone wants to be, and it’s everything a traditional Maine lakeside retreat should be. The property has been lovingly updated year after year, but honestly, the flat yard leading to a deep-water dock is all you really need!

NEED EXTRA ROOM? Little Pines, a cozy guest cottage on the same well-spaced property, is rented separately. Book them together as Great Pines for groups of up to 12!
OFF-SEASON PRICING: To make this larger home more attractive to smaller groups, off-season rentals (mid-September through mid-June) are priced for 4 guests. Additional guests, up to a maximum of 8, are 0 per person, per week. Please select this option when making your reservation.
BOATS INCLUDED? None; however, boats can be rented through our affiliate company, Maine Watercraft Rentals, and delivered right to the property (renters must meet Maine Watercraft Rentals’ criteria). Kayak and SUP rentals are also available from Maine Sport Outfitters in Rockport and Ducktrap Kayak & SUP in Lincolnville, both of which can deliver to the property.
FISHING TRIPS: This is a great spot for fishing! Registered Maine Guide Mike Kinney can take you out on Megunticook Lake. Contact him to reserve a guided trip.

Boat rentals through Maine Watercraft Rentals Inc. are available at select lakefront properties. Rentals run from Saturday at 10am through Friday at 5pm and are delivered to the property. Please contact a reservation agent to check boat availability and reserve.

Very adaptable and responsive to constantly changing situations. They are hard workers always maintaining a friendly and professional approach to their clients. – Property: Great property and location. Property Manager: Six of us each year time of kayaking adventures with watching the NBA finals. On the Water brought over a larger new TV for us to watch the finals. Property Manager: Responsive, friendly, professional. – Property: White Pines was the perfect getaway for our family. Loved the quiet cove and big lawn. Beautiful sunsets and cool, refreshing swimming. And easily accessible to all the midcoast has to offer.
Property Manager: As always, On the Water in Maine correspondence was informative, thorough, timely, friendly and professional. – Property: We have stayed in 5 different homes on Megunticook Lake over the last 20 years and this one was by far the nicest. The location was beautiful, perfect front yard leading down to the lake. The home was well stocked with all the items needed for our family. We will absolutely stay here again.
Property Manager: I can tell On the Water in Maine has fine tuned the vacation rental experience. They are excellent at communicating with renters and very responsive to questions.
