I (We) have had and enjoyed a fine working relationship with all staff at On the Water in Maine Inc. over many years now. So glad they are our 'go-to' agency.
It fits our group perfectly. Plenty of space to spread out but with living and dining rooms large enough for us all to hang out together be it dinner at the table or game night in the livingroom. We love the tiered yard, the secluded dock, and the wraparound deck. Great place.

Great company to work with!
Loved the rental property with the exception of the walk down to the dock. Very open and relaxing home!

We just spent a beautiful week at Rip's View with our family. The house was spotless and charmiing in every way and had everything we needed as well as a place to grill and a fire pit for enjoying evenings outside. The dock was a perfect place to fish and we had rented kayaks for the week which were easily accessible. We feel like Rip's View is a little piece of heaven and we look forward to returning.

So sorry this took so long. was really saddened that the vacation went so fast. The house was just about perfect. the rap around deck, the living spaces, and closeness to water made our experience one to remember. the only problem that stopped this from being a perfect visit was the climb from the water. pretty steep

Extremely professional. Great.
Wonderful, relaxed family home with access to water at house! Kids did lots of fishing off the dock. So nice to have the water available for use after a day of exploring the area!

You exceeded our expectations!
We stayed at "Rips View" early October and were delighted with the property and our stay. The home is beautiful and in a serene location which was exactly what we needed. The propety is so close to Boothbay Harbor and other places that we could just go back and forth and still be able to enjoy the healing serenity of it's location.

All the communication with On the Water in Maine, both on-line and by phone, was easy, friendly and helpful.
Rip's View was a great location and house for eight adults of three generations to spend a week. The main floor is close to meeting the requirements of being handicapped accessible. The open space facilitated conversation and group interaction. Although there was not much activity on the water, there was a good view from the house and deck. The well equipped kitchen, outdoor grill, and lobster cooker made meal preparation easy.

Our stay was very nice. Favorite features: the view, the wonderful sea air, the seclusion, the deck, the hummingbird that looked in the window almost everyday.

I have to say, I have rented at least 1 - 2 vacation homes every year, and by far, On The Water in Maine was the best I have ever dealt with! They were so accommodating, as were the owners to our needs. Anything I needed, they jumped to help with. I would definitely use them again when we come back to Maine as well as recommend them to anyone I know traveling to Maine.
Rip's View was amazing!!! As soon as we pulled into the driveway and saw how gorgeous the location was, we knew it was going to be heaven for the week!! And once you walked inside, you couldn't help but feel like you were home. It was very cozy. It was nice to wake up to the trees blowing and the water below every morning.

Working with your agency was a pleasant experience for us as first time renters.
The information about the property and area made the stay very easy.
Our stay in Rip's View was perfect. The accommodations were cozy, warm, spacious, and comfortable. The property is private and yet convenient to market, restaurants, stores when needed. The riverfront is very picturesque, peaceful, and serene. The property is ideal for peaceful vacationing, yet ideal for entertaining which we did for my birthday with a wonderful Clambake/Lobster Fest prepared by friends in a traditional New England fashion including homemade blueberry cake for birthday cake!
Hopefully we will be able to do a repeat trip from California same time next summer.

The floor plan is open yet very cozy and we have found that it's a perfect spot for making family memories! I would highly recommend this beautiful house and all it has to offer. We will definitely be repeaters!
