2nd Floor Barn Guest Quarters: (add-on to rental before June 20th and after September 1st - otherwise included) Kitchenette, Living room, Full bath with tub/shower, Bedroom with 2 Twin beds and a King (the King can be separated into two twins to have 4 twins upon request), Balcony, Outdoor Shower on lower deck. At least one adult must occupy this space.

DOGS PERMITTED? Dogs are considered at this property. All dogs must first meet our Pet Guidelines and get owner approval to be considered. OA

Becalmed is one of only a few lakefront homes available for rental on desirable Megunticook Lake that comfortably sleeps 10.  It features quality furnishings, a well appointed kitchen, private dock with swim float, a large yard, and a covered patio with gorgeous views of the lake.  The lawn slopes to the waters edge with stone steps leading into the water offering easy access to Megunticook Lake. The patio is a perfect retreat for a mid day siesta, evening cocktails, or enjoying a book while you look out onto Fernalds Neck Preserve and watch the boaters enjoying the day or watch the many forms of wildlife that call the area home. Megunticook Lake is just  3 miles from beautiful Camden village and the ocean. The Camden Hills State Park with numerous hiking trails is also nearby.

BOATS INCLUDED?  Our affiliate company Maine Watercraft Rentals Inc. will rent and deliver/pick-up one of the following boats at the property 19' foot 2019 Bayliner Ski Boat or 2020 Tracker Fishing/Ski Boat - both with 115hp motors. Rental of the boat includes water skis, a tube, kneeboard, and wakeboard. If you are looking to rent kayaks, Maine Sport or Ducktrap Kayaks offer those and can deliver them to the Property.

OCCUPANCY OFF-SEASON / GARAGE APARTMENT: Prior to June 18th and After September 1st, the weekly price is based on 6 guests occupying the main house only. To add the garage apartment on to the rental and increase the occupancy from 6 people to up to 10 people, an additional rental of $525 is required (plus associated taxes and fees).  Guest must select this during the reservation process and at least one adult must occupy this space.  If you don't choose to rent it - no one else will occupy it.  

SECURITY DEPOSIT: Yes, a $500 Refundable Security Deposit is required by the owner. The security deposit is due 90 Days prior to arrival and refunded within 30 days after a successful departure.

LINENS & TOWELS: The rental of this property includes all bed linens and towels.  Beds will be made up upon arrival and there will be one bath towel and wash cloth per listed occupancy, two hand towels per bathroom, one bath mat per full bathroom, and two kitchen towels in the kitchen.  Additional bath towels can be rented.

Cleaning: The property will be professionally cleaned before and after the rental. Anything above normal cleaning charges will be billed to guest at the current hourly rate

Smoking Is Not Permitted anywhere on or inside of any of our rental properties nor are those who may partake in tobacco smoking allowed to occupy any of our properties.

Occupancy may not exceed what is posted for each home. Maximum occupancy could include infants and children.

Amenities offered through On the Water in Maine Inc. are not available at all the properties we offer for rent. Boat Rentals through Maine Watercraft Rentals Inc. are offered Sunday morning to Friday after 4pm and include free delivery to the property.
