This architecturally unique home was designed by one of the owners. From the moment you step inside, the natural light pours in over the wooden accents throughout the home. Looking out over Little Moxie Cove to Louds Island and Bar Island, the latter which has been in the owner's family for nearly 130 years, you will find the peace and privacy you need to fully enjoy a Maine vacation. With 4 bedrooms in the main home, this property can accommodate the entire family. Surrounded by woods and pine, the home sits on a beautiful piece of land, steps added to get down to the rocky shore. At low tide, enjoy climbing over the large rocks shaped by salt water. A pebbly beach appears at mid tide allowing easy access to the shore for swimming, launching a paddleboard or kayak, or simply relaxing with a good book. Launching kayaks is a breeze, as the steps to the shore are gradual and flat.
Enjoy the panoramic views of the cove, or play lawn games off the deck with the barbecue going. This property offers the perfect space for a family vacation or couples retreat. Wherever you are in the home, enjoy the view from the tall windows and soak in the Maine coast.

On the Water in Maine agency was very easy to work with, everyone was very accommodating and helpful. The online process works well and makes the process easy
The location makes this house, it's all about the view of the bay and the backyard opening up onto the bay. Very nice and enjoyable to enjoy mornings and evenings with this view and experience. Really enjoyed the Round Pound area, with local businesses, coffee, diner, lobster on the dock, kayak equipment rental, really made the stay great

On the Water in Maine is a top notch, professional agency. We were very pleased with the excellent communication and services.
Little Moxie Cove is a gem - the setting is picturesque and private and the house is lovely, spacious and comfortable. Games of horseshoe, sitting on the deck both day and evenings. The moon's reflection glistening on the ocean.. Really magical.

Easy check in and check out, high level of preparation and communication, friendly when we had to call with questions and kind though my four year old broke a glass.
We loved the hot tub. The incredible design of the house, its beautiful concrete and warm wood juxtaposition, the amazing temperature regulation via fan and windows due to its incredible design (we are from Georgia and worried we would be hot without AC, but it was incredible!), tons of space, comfortable furniture and beds, spacious closets for storage, beautiful yard and proximity to water.

Town Info - Damariscotta, Newcastle, Bremen, Bristol & Pemaquid Region
Pemaquid peninsula is comprised of Damariscotta, Bristol and New Harbor. While visiting Pemaquid you should visit Colonial Pemaquid's Fort William Henry which dates back to 1692, also known as Fort Frederick. The Fort House built in 1792 and the castle like bunker of Fort William Henry, a replica, is impressive, and also considered haunted like many Maine landmarks. This Pemaquid Fort offers a great view of the harbor and sea beyond, and nearby is a perfect place...
