A grand old home (and cool that it had been moved to that location). The house was spacious, clean, and lovely. Enjoyed the assorted spaces for relaxing throughout the home and outside. The location was great, very walkable.
The location, historic features (the wide floors, high ceilings, original doors and woodwork). Enjoyed having a variety of places inside and outside to relax. The harbor view (or peeks) were soothing. The blend of old and new was un too (the downstairs powder room was so cute.) The collection of original artwork and prints throughout the home was fun to look at.

The agency was very easy to work with. There was an issue of our lockbox not working. I do wish some attempt had been made to contact us about that.
This was a great house for our family of 8. There were plenty of bathrooms, seating, and comfortable beds for all of us. Unfortunately for us, we stayed a week that was very hot and humid. This house has no AC, but we knew that ahead of time. I would defiantly rent this house again but would try for a cooler time. there were fans available for every bedroom. We absolutely loved Belfast. The town is not overrun by tourists and has a great walking path along the water. We went to the co-op and farmers market several time.

Was good overall. Communication prior to checking in was great.
This is a very nice property in a great location within Belfast. Easy walking to downtown or a park and oceanfront. Amenities and space is good.

Pretty seamless and straightforward.
We really enjoyed our Belfast Village house - everything was very clean, kitchen well stocked with everything you could need, comfortable beds and couches. Great location - enjoyed walks around the town and across the bay to pick up seafood at Young's. Enjoyed watching the Belfast Senior Prom goers, and the Belfast Pride festival, basically from our front porch!

On the water staff were very helpful, and enthusiastic about the house and town. Great, great service.
The location of the house was perfect- access to the town, a small rocky beach, and the harbor walk.
The house was beautifully decorated and quite comfortable- a few problems with a window off the track and operating the showers, but the caretaker was very helpful and resolved both issues immediately.
Minor issue in the master bedroom was the lack of bedside lighting for reading at night- not a big issue, but being able to not get out of bed to turn off the wall light would be appreciated.
Another minor detail is the skylight in the 3rd floor bedroom, another lovely room, but wow, bright in the morning. A shade perhaps to keep out the morning light and/or hot sun? But again, this house was lovely. - (1/12/2018) The owners have installed a new light-blocking shade for the third floor bedroom, as well as bedside lights for reading.

Town Info - Bayside Village, Northport, Belfast, & Stockton Springs
Really two towns (legally) - Belfast and Northport are neighbors, and then Bayside is located inside of the town of Northport. While only a short distance from coastal Route 1, Bayside remains a well-kept secret; a small hamlet that takes one back to a simpler, uncomplicated time. A few years back, DownEast Magazine did a great article on Bayside that is still mostly relevant today. Click HE...
