Renovated in 2017, this well-appointed and conveniently located cottage in Bremen, Maine is just a short drive from downtown Damariscotta. The town boasts of numerous shopping boutiques, award winning restaurants, live music, boat tours, local parades and festivals as well as fresh produce markets and amazing oysters and seafood.
Breezy View is nestled on a hillside overlooking the remote islands of Broad Cove and Muscongus Sound. When you arrive at the cottage you are welcomed by the ocean facing deck and the magical three-season screened in porch with ample seating. The screened in sun porch provides views of the vibrant sunsets while listening to the lapping tide and passing boat traffic. While there are neighbors, the privacy from the beautiful hydrangea and lilac hedges with a spacious side yard provide protection during your quiet and relaxing vacation. At the end of the private road there is a boat launch, which was previously used as the Bremen public boat launch; it's great for boats, kayaks, or SUP's.
Walking into the cottage, there is an open concept dining room and three separate seating areas. The dining room table is large enough to accommodate 8 guests with tasteful decor throughout. The first seating area is facing the usable wood-burning fireplace for cooler evenings to curl up to enjoy a book or fun board game. The second seating area faces toward the expansive views of the water and gardens. The last seating area is a private den with a TV and comfortable futon which converts into a bed to accommodate 2 more guests (total of 6 guests allowed). Leading past the dining area is the kitchen, albeit a bit small, it is very well equipped with a large gas stove, butcher block countertops, and updated appliances with a wide variety of pans and high end utensils. The bright colors of the kitchen contrast beautifully with the greens and blues of nature surrounding the cottage. The laundry area is off the kitchen with a stackable washer and dryer and a door leading to the side deck. Off the side deck is a unique and fabulous enclosed outdoor shower with stone floor inlay. Continuing to the otherside of the kitchen, there is a full sized bathroom with a stand-up shower.
On the second floor, the bright front queen bedroom has unobstructed views of the water with tasteful decor, bedding, and great closet space. The second queen bedroom faces toward the side yard and provides limited views of the water. The shared bathroom has an original clawfoot tub shaded in a retro green with coastal touches. The tub does have a handheld showerhead faucet for handshowering. There is more closet space for luggage storage, etc. at the end of the upstairs hallway.
The half acre side yard is perfect for bringing your four-legged furry friend as well as children ready to run and explore, great space for lawn games, or BBQ's with comfortable seating. The quiet residential dead-end road is ideal for early morning walks or casual strolls watching the ever-changing landscape colors. This secluded and romantic cottage getaway is awaiting you!

Pemaquid peninsula is comprised of Damariscotta, Bristol and New Harbor. While visiting Pemaquid you should visit Colonial Pemaquid's Fort William Henry which dates back to 1692, also known as Fort Frederick. The Fort House built in 1792 and the castle like bunker of Fort William Henry, a replica, is impressive, and also considered haunted like many Maine landmarks. This Pemaquid Fort offers a great view of the harbor and sea beyond, and nearby is a perfect place...
