This 1875 home is a classic charm to the neighborhood with its well-established gardens and is the lower part of the historical church which was renovated in 2023. It is the perfect space for a couple looking to get away and enjoy a stay in Midcoast Maine. The idyllic neighborhood setting and beautifully curated decor provides a great Maine coast retreat close to dining, shopping, and sightseeing. It is located right off Rockport Harbor and only 1/4 mile from the public dock and beach, but has easy walking trails along the harbor up Beauchamp Point where you can find entry points to swimming holes off large granite boulders.
You have off-street parking for one car, which leads to your private deck. When you enter, you will be in the living/kitchen area. You walk through a hall and are in the formal living room, complete with a TV. Down another hall, there is a full bathroom, and at the end is a laundry area and a comfortable queen bedroom. The home has AC/Heat pumps to take off the chill or cool you down after a day of exploration.

Small and beautiful Rockport is on the west side of Penobscot Bay, between Rockland and Camden. You can talk to the lobster monger, the lobstermen, watch them in action, and even buy lobster right from the dock. Launch a kayak from the dock in the harbor nearby and paddle the harbor, keeping a watchful eye out for harbor seals. Nearby walks take you past Aldermere Farm and the famous banded cows via the Lily Pond trail through to Camden’s Chestnut historic district. LINENS & TOWELS: The rental of this property includes all bed linens and towels. Beds will be made up upon arrival, and there will be one bath towel and washcloth per listed occupancy, two hand towels per bathroom, one bath mat per full bathroom, and two kitchen towels in the kitchen. Additional bath towels can be rented.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: No, the owner of this property does not require a security deposit; however, guests remain financially responsible for any non-accidental damage to the property.

Well-loved by visitors and residents alike, the towns of Camden and Rockport were one until 1890. Even though governed separately today, they are essentially the same town combined with village centers a mile apart. The mountains tumble down to meet the ocean's edge, creating some of the best views and hiking opportunities in the state.
