Main Level - Open-concept great room with kitchen, dining area, and living room under cathedral ceilings and skylights, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace (gas, with remote), and a large harvest dining table. King primary bedroom with en suite bath, a second king bedroom and a twin bedroom sharing a full hall bathroom, a game room with a single loft bunk, a pull-out twin couch, and its own en suite bath with roll-in shower, and deck access.

Lower Level - Second full kitchen with breakfast bar, comfortable living and sitting area with wood stove, two queen bedrooms with en suite baths, and a large laundry room that doubles as a full bathroom with utility sink and roll-in shower.

Tucked away on a quiet lane in Northport, Little Harbor House is your own peaceful corner of the Maine coast. Set on a private lane among other private homes, this retreat is new to the On the Water inventory for the 2026 season, spreading across roughly 4,000 square feet of true lodge character, with five bedrooms and room for up to 12 guests to settle in and stay awhile.

Step inside to warm knotty pine walls, soaring cathedral ceilings, and skylights that pour sunlight into a wide open great room. A floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace anchors the space, while the kitchen, dining, and living areas all flow together, so the cook is never far from the conversation. Gather everyone around the big harvest table for a lobster dinner, pull up a stool at the breakfast bar, or drift out to the deck when the evening is warm. Each bedroom carries its own Maine lodge charm, from pine-quilted rooms to log-frame beds and nautical touches, and there is even a tucked-away loft bunk in the game room that the kids will happily claim as their own. Look closely and you will spot a hand-carved "Bear Pond Cottage" sign above the hearth, a heartfelt touch from the owner and a little piece of the home's history.

Downstairs, a finished lower level opens up like a retreat all its own. With a second full kitchen, a comfortable living area warmed by a wood stove, two more bedrooms each with its own bath, and a spacious laundry room, it is perfect for a larger group or a multi-generational getaway where everyone wants a little room to breathe. Handsome slate tile runs throughout, keeping things cool and cozy at once. Thoughtfully designed with wide doorways, easy single-level living on the main floor, and roll-in showers, the home welcomes guests of all mobility levels with comfort and grace.

Outside, the setting is pure Maine. Wake to the stillness of your own quiet pond, framed by cattails and ringed with tall evergreens, and when the salt air calls, follow the winding path down through the trees to your ocean access. It is a quaint little walk through the woods that ends right at the water's edge, perfect for launching a kayak or paddleboard and drifting along the shoreline on a warm summer afternoon. As the evening cools, gather around the outdoor firepit to swap stories under the stars. Bringing the family pup along? Good news, dogs are warmly welcomed here with prior approval, so no one has to stay behind.

Northport sets you right in the heart of Penobscot Bay. Charming Belfast is just up the road with its eclectic mix of restaurants, shops, and galleries, and Camden is a short drive south for sailing aboard a schooner, browsing the shops, or wandering the harbor. BOATS INCLUDED? None, however if you are looking to rent kayaks or SUPs, Water Walker or Ducktrap Kayaks offer those and can deliver them to the Property.  

LINENS & TOWELS: The rental of this property includes all bed linens and towels. Beds will be made up upon arrival and there will be one bath towel and wash cloth per listed occupancy, two hand towels per bathroom, one bath mat per full bathroom, and two kitchen towels in the kitchen. Additional bath towels can be rented.
