This is our third time working with On the Water in Maine. We have been coming to Maine for close to twenty years, and we cannot imagine using any other agency when our travels take us to the mid-coast region. All the staff we worked with were very helpful and professional and quick to respond to any questions we had.
This year was our second time staying in this property, and our third time staying in one of On The Water in Maine's properties. Our stay could not have been nicer. The home is clean and comfortable, and meets all our needs. What we especially enjoy are the views. The back of the house is all glass with incredible views of the lobster pound and the channel.

The staff of On the Water is superb. Thoughtful, thorough, personal service every step of the way. We would never work with another company, because the OTW team always look out for the guests.
This is a terrific propertya true home. Spacious rooms, amazing kitchen, spectacular views. Beautifully cared for and stocked with everything you need and more. Also, a great location in terms of access to everything in the area.

We've rented through OTWIN on 6 occasions with only minor issues at the properties and those issues were quickly resolved. We will continue to rent through OTWIM and recommed the same to others.
Well furnished, beautiful view, nice yard for the kids to play in. We liked that the Owl's Head lighthouse was a short walk away.

This was our second time using your agency, and we could not be happier or more satisfied. Everyone we dealt with at "On the Water" was very personable and professional. Sara Allenwood was our sales representative, and went out of her way to meet our needs. When we travel, our four dogs travel with us, and Sara took the time to speak with property owners to find some who would accept the dogs, as well as the property meeting our needs.
We loved the house. I was very comfortable, clean, the floor plan had a nice easy flow to it, and the views out of the living room and master bedroom were incredible. The size of the yard was perfect since we had our two grandsons and dogs with us - there was plenty of room for them to run and play. The location of the house was also a plus - a very nice, quiet street. The only suggestion I would make is the washing machine needs to be leveled. It "danced" across the floor while being used, especially during the spin cycles.

The entire process with On the Water in Maine was transparent and smooth. As a first time renter, I really appreciated the clear and thorough property listings, and Port of Call was exactly what I thought it would be based on what I read online. On the Water will be the first place I look for my next vacation rental in Maine!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Port of Call. The property was spacious, clean and included all of the amenities we needed for a relaxing coastal Maine vacation. The views from the living room and bedroom were top notch, and the deck off the back of the house was great for reading, enjoying meals and lounging through the day. The proximity to Rockland was a definite plus, and we enjoyed being so close to great restaurants (especially Primo!), shopping, and museums.

Could not be more satisfied with On the Water in Maine. For 8 years now, we have rented through them and each contact we have had with a representative has been a pleasure including this year.
We certainly enjoyed Port of Call. It is very modern & clean inside, has a large private lot, a great deck to watch the lobster pier, large rooms, large windows, a great location only 4 miles out of Rockland. This was our 8th year of renting thru On the Water and our 6th different home.

Choosing and booking the property went swimmingly, as did checking in. Our rental period was for 30 days, and we only had to contact On the Water twice and - by happenstance - both on the same day.
The property was perfect, and just what we wanted. It is comfortable and well appointed, beautifully and simply decorated and ideal for our family of four. It was well represented by On the Water, and I think was even better in person than the pictures. It was clean and welcoming when we arrived.
I think the best feature were the beautiful views and large windows to enjoy them, as well as the large backyard that leads down to the water, and lovely deck with grill. The house is also well situated in Owls Head - it's a ten minute walk to the Owls Head lighthouse, or a short walk to the general store which offers great breakfast and lunch. It's also convenient to nearby towns like Rockland, Rockport and Camden, and its midcoast location makes it an easy drive to Portland and Boothbay or up to Bar Harbor or Bangor. We definitely recommend this place - and think it could probably accommodate up to six quite comfortably.

Your agency is the only one I like to use, as it is thorough, personal, and gives great attention to details.
Here I am an entire year later FINALLY completing your survey. The house itself was absolutely gorgeous with huge picture windows looking out on the water. It has so many conveniences and was well maintained. The kitchen was a joy to use. We loved the large deck and the huge lawn leading g down to the water.

We are very happy with the agency - they were responsive when we had questions beforehand, but we also had absolute privacy during the weeklong stay. The check-in and check-out procedures are smooth and quick. As we left the property on check-out day, the cleaner person arrived.
The house is a gem. Privacy was excellent. Views of the bay were wonderful and relaxing. The house is spacious with huge windows overlooking the bay and lobster pound. The sky windows allow for natural light in the kitchen and bathroom and the area where the washer and dryer are. The washer and dryer are both huge and function as expected. The furniture in the house is very comfortable and suitable for a relaxing time in Maine. Kitchen is well equipped with all modern amenities - we never used the oven - only the stove top. Fridge/freezer is big enough for a big group of people and in good condition. I enjoyed my coffee using the (filter type) coffee machine. The toaster, blender and microwave were all in excellent condition. Wifi is very reliable - we needed that because our service provider does not have proper coverage in that area. We never watched TV, so we can't say anything about functionality - the TV is a huge modern flat screen. We never used the grill outside on the deck - but it looks like a very good grill. We were pleasantly surprised to see lots of board games in the house - and even a croquet set - but we did not use any of that during our stay - maybe next time. One of the reasons we chose this house is the fact that it has a king size bed and a shower en suite - we were not disappointed. The house is within comfortable reach of many attactions, but also secluded enough to provide peace and quiet.
