A beautiful vacation spot for a family group looking out over Boothbay Harbor and neighboring islands. This antique Maine oceanside cottage includes a private dock great for kayaking and boating as well as a fantastic back deck to relax and enjoy the views. The cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and also includes 1 and a half baths. The cottage was featured in the March 2019 issue of the Maine Magazine!
Noteworthy is the land and dock immediately to the right of the cottage as you look at the water. This dock is the private association dock for the neighborhood, but only a few neighbors actually use it. So, this property not only has access to its dock immediately in front of it, but also the neighboring community dock. Finally, it offers a convenient location to unpack your car upon arrival.
Griffin Cottage is located on a quiet one lane private road only 2 and half miles from downtown Boothbay Harbor, 1 mile from the Southport General Store and 2 miles from the Hendricks Head Beach and Lighthouse. Robinson's Wharf - which has the Restaurant & Tugs Pub, a Gift Shop, and Seafood Market, as well as an ice cream stand, is within a short half mile walk from this property.

Emily greeted us as we arrived at the cottage - a lovely surprise and made for an easy check in and orientation to the cottage. She is "a natural" for her job and a positive representative for the company. The Griffin Cottage focal point for us was the expansive deck with very comfortable furniture; comfortable living room and fairly well equipped kitchen.
