A classic yet luxuriously appointed lakefront compound on desirable Megunticook Lake featuring comfortable furniture, bedding, gourmet kitchen equipment, huge dock, and air conditioning in all buildings. At the southern end of the Megunticook in the Lake City neighborhood, Wishbone Point is only 3 miles from beautiful Camden village and harbor.
There are 3 cottages on the property; 2 were renovated in 1996 with comfort and style in mind while maintaining their 1920's flavor with everything replaced and reconfigured; the Schoolhouse Cottage was built in 2000. With nearly an acre of land and 265 feet of waterfront there is plenty of room to enjoy the grounds and lake. The property also boasts a large gas grill cooking area, a Cedar Works playset for children, numerous outdoor seating options, most of which offer panoramic lake views. There is a wonderfully refurbished original 1920's stone fireplace anchoring the main room in the Main Cottage. There is also a fireplace in the Schoolhouse. The cottages are filled with antique painted Americana furniture mixed with some locally made furniture, a few custom upholstered pieces as well as a Ralph Lauren leather sofa, and Ralph Lauren sheets, comforters, towels and terry robes. Every detail has been attended to with comfort and relaxation in mind. A Sonos speaker system is also in the Main Cottage to enjoy while in the house or outside enjoying the firepit or lake.
There is a stone patio that surrounds the flagpole complete with numerous Adirondack chairs. A lakeside hammock. Also, included with the property to be used off the large dock system there are 3 single kayaks and 1 double kayak as well as a canoe and a paddle boat and 3 stand up paddle boards and 2 kids SUPs. Water trampoline!
BOATS INCLUDED? Yes, 3 single kayaks and 1 double kayak, as well as, a canoe, and a paddle boat and 3 adult stand up paddle boards and 2 kid stand up paddle boards and a water trampoline! Additionally, an affiliate company Maine Watercraft Rentals Inc. will rent and deliver/pick-up the following boats at the property 19' foot 2019 Bayliner Ski Boat or 2020 Tracker Fishing/Ski Boat both with 115hp motors
