Both cottages are included!), with a screened-in, three season porch for two couples that want privacy, or a family getaway. Surrounded by plenty of flat yard space, this property is a great spot to toss a Frisbee, watch lobster fishermen, or take in your favorite book.
The addition of the screened-in, three season porch off the kitchen of the main house provides a new way to enjoy the outdoors during the days and evenings. The comfortable space includes a living area and a dining area with views of the ocean, a field, wetlands, and woods. On hot summer days, the breeze flows through unobstructed and on chillier evenings in the fall it provides protection and warmth without sacrificing any of the views. The furnished upper deck is accessible from the master bedroom, enjoy your morning coffee with incredible views of the water.
Stairs lead to the rocky shore in front of the cottage. There is a deep-water mooring just offshore for those who want to bring their boat. Kayaking is possible from shore, as is just sitting back and relaxing on the large special cupped rock at the base of the stairs to the beach.

Staff at On the Water in Maine was wonderful and a joy to work with!
The cottage was beyond our expectations. We came to relax and de-stress. Immediately after our arrival the scenery alone melted all the stress away. We enjoyed the weather, the view and watching nature all around us: loons, ospreys, harbor seals, and adorable squirrels that kept us entertained.

Justin was available to answer any questions. Very professional & personable.
Exactly what was expected. Very quaint, clean, well appointed, quiet, with an amazing view. Added bonus of having kayaks available. Enjoyed the selection of books & CDs. Liked not having a tv, although we did watch a VHS movie, very retro.

During the course of my initial call and through the check out process, I dealt with five staff members. Each person was exceptionally friendly, courteous and accommodating offering insightful information to help me in making my final decision. I spoke highly of your agency to various people I met throughout my stay.
Deep Cove Cottages offered us the seclusion we were seeking while still allowing us to enjoy the closeness and activity of Port Clyde and Rockland. We just loved the area.

We had some trouble with our first rental but Justin at On the Water in Maine swooped in and ameliorated the issue as soon as I let him know. This was much appreciated.
As a family with an early sleeper, it was so nice having a separate sleeping space. We were able to put our daughter down for naps and bed in the small cottage while we cooked and hung out in the big one. The WiFi worked well enough for her monitor and we knew she couldn't hear us!

The staff at On the Water in Maine were very professional and helful... the entire process was easy and stress free.
The cottage was just wonderful so quaint. The two seperate bedrooms was nice as we shared the facility with our friends from Colorado and it gave us each our privacy at bedtime. The ocean views were beautiful and the night sky and stars were just breathtaking.

Booking on-line was easy and the agency was very clear & direct about what we would find on arrival...and what was expected of us as guests. No surprises.
My husband & I and our friends all agreed that this pair of cottages was THE perfect spot for us to stay in mid coast Maine. They were private, near the ocean, beautifully appointed and comfortable. The houses were delightful and eagles & ospreys constantly entertained us while we were sitting on the rocks beside the water. Only suggestion is to add a guest book... so people can share their experiences & preferences with future guests. Will definitely be back!

On The Water in Maine has been consistently excellent. Everyone we've dealt with on staff has been helpful, upbeat and informed. The team could not be better.
We had yet another glorious two-week stay at Deep Cove, and really love both the house and property. It's truly comfortable, beautiful, spacious, private and just about perfect for us. While the kitchen is in excellent shape, and a pleasure to work in, there could be a better supply of some very basic kitchen items: one or two deep baking dishes, a potato masher, a garlic press, a metal steamer, etc. The utensils, dishes, glasses, plates, pots and pans are all in good supply and excellent shape.

We found this property by searching online. The information that they give is very clear and helpful. It was a pleasure speaking with On the Water in Maine over the phone and upon check in it was nice to know that I could call them to answer any questions I had about the surrounding area.
The property was exactly as described. It was a beautiful quiet spot right on the ocean. We went with another couple and it was perfect for us to each have some private space.
