On The Water was incredibly responsive to my questions and issues. Justin answered each and every phone call, even though I know it's the busiest time of the year. They were wonderful.

Wonderful location, property was very clean, everything in it was tasteful (unlike most rental properties which have an accumulation of crappy stuff)

Your staff was always helpful and welcoming as well as enthusiastic. I never felt it was difficult to contact them or to discuss any issues with them.

Lovely home with beautiful view but not very well equipped for a group of ten although it sleeps ten. We loved the house overall, especially the location. We never tried to find the local beach.

We loved staying at Bayside again this year. The cottage was perfect for our family.

On the Water in Maine really answers all your questions before you have to ask them. There was a good amount of information sent our way (but all useful and it was never TOO much information). Also, when we arrived, our original rental had an unexpected bug problem. Within an hour, Justin had moved us to a new rental, they took care of the problem, and we were able to go back to our original spot in a few days. Stuff like this happens--such is life--and On the Water was extremely gracious and efficient in rectifying the situation. We'd recommend them to anyone.

The Whitmore Creek Carriage House is wonderfully situated--just a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants in downtown Camden, yet it feels secluded and private as it is at the end of a dead end road. Laite beach is only about a ten minute walk away too. The location is really ideal. Also, the place was extremely clean, with a surprisingly well-stocked kitchen given the size of the property. It's perfect for a couple. The only thing I would want people to be aware of, as it was not included in any of the listing information, is that the stairway is a very narrow modular stair with irregularly sized treads. It's really not a problem once you get used to it, but I would guess that anyone with mobility issues would not handle it too well. Also, because the bathroom is on the ground floor, navigating the stair in the middle of the night is something that some guests might want to consider. All in all, this is a wonderful, thoughtfully laid-out place with plenty of storage, lots of hanging areas for clothes, great water pressure, fast internet connection, and a good work space as well.

Pine Cliff is a great property - fantastic views, comfortable, and close to town.

This is my third rental through On The Water in Maine. The properties have been great and the booking experience and check in/ out experience easy.

Absolutely perfect location! Gorgeous kayaking, swimming and birdwatching. The loons calling at night was incredible, and dolphins swimming during high tide was an awesome experience.

The house had beautiful views and was exactly as pictured. The house was equipped with everything we could need for our two week stay. Our children loved jumping off the dock and swimming in the lake, and we kayaked nearly every day.

I have not found an easier group of people to work with. On the Water in Maine is a complete pleasure. The communication, attention to detail, welcoming spirit and accessibility is second to none. All instruction are clear and concise without being overwhelming or overbearing.

The location of this property is phenomenal. Easy 5min walk to Main Street and harbor. Just steps from public boat launch that is a gem of it's own with gorgeous views of boats and great place to sit and watch activity and sunset in early evenings. For the adventurous, the Mt. Battie trailhead is a 15min walk from the property.

On the Water in Maine made our first experience renting a vacation property so easy. The website is user friendly and the people I spoke with so helpful. The process of renting went smoothly with the emails, online agreements and payments. The cottage was very clean and even the front porch light was on when we arrived!

The Ducktrap Cottage was perfect for us. The simple, peaceful accommodations led to a relaxed vacation. We loved the cove at the end of the street, spending time there everyday exploring the shore and kayaking. Being able to cook some of our own meals was actually a welcome treat in the kitchen. We were sad to leave and go home.

What an amazing experience! Got us in at the last moment for a quick vacation. Super customer service...so easy to work with.

Beautiful little cabin! Great water pressure, well appointed kitchen. Lake was amazing, peaceful, and super fishing!

View, the ability to put the kayaks in the water from the backyard,close to other small towns but remote enough that there was no noise or traffic,close to several beaches

I have found your checking-in and out to be very efficient.

This was our third stay at Harmony Cottage. It always neat, fresh and suits us as a couple.

Everyone was very pleasant to deal with. My initial dealings indicated that I could rent outboards and then I was told they no longer rented on this lake. I had a terrible time finding Maine Boat Rental. I must have tried 8-10 places before I was successful on my own. I have left a brochure for you in the smaller cabin. Maine Boat Rental, China.

We loved Loon Landing. The cabins were beautifully furnished and landscaped. The deck overlooked a gorgeous lake with lovely sunsets.

On the water. In Maine has never failed us and we are always confident that there will be no surprises upon arrival.

The island view house had an unusual layout which proved to be very comfortable. The layout appeared to have been given considerable thought and helped provide a pleasant stay. This is a new home cut into a wet, woodsy area. As might be expected we found the driveway area to be quite buggy. Going for walks were not possible. Luckily the deck and house were bug free. The wifi was extremely slow. We have rented. In the Rockland area. 6 or 7 times and never had these two problems. Otherwise the house wa sxcellant.

No problem working with On the Water in Maine. Instructions about the house and area and directions were adequate.

The view from the house and deck were lovely. The house itself needs some updating. The kitchen is too small for the number of guests (6) that the house can accommodate and the lack of a dishwasher was not pleasant for our party. Kitchen was well-stocked and the house was fairly clean.

Excellent always . Justin replied to our complaints and came to address issues the next day but could not put these things right other than new bed linen on one bed and fresh towels and some cleaning. All these issues should have been dealt with BEFORE this cottage was rented out. We would NEVER have taken this cottage if we had known the situation.

This property was well below the standard expected from your company.It was a total disappointment.It was shabby, dirty,full of mouse droppings,the furniture was not "rustic' but dirty, smelly and fit for the dump. We did not want to sit on it.The bed sheets were old and pilled, towels stained. Wiring was cobbled together. Mould in bath surround,and in ceiling corner Cobwebs across windows..freezing at night, boiling in day. Insufficient blankets. "Working fire" had no chimney???? Trapped extension lead under couch...safety hazard. Nice view from lounge window.
