Excellent property and location thoroughly enjoyed by all the family.

HEMLOCK POINT COTTAGE - Your property is well maintained, supplied and beautifully decorated. The views are phenomenal. I know air conditioning is a "questionable" thing in Maine, but we were happy to have the window units on two days that broke 90 degrees. The view is great from all three floors. The interior is beautifully decorated. Everything worked well and the place was white glove clean. The only negative thing I would mention is that the queen bed in the upstairs bedroom is rather soft. I know some people like it this way but I do not. Also, the cell service was poor and the internet service was unpredictable (e.g. the weather forecast sites worked well but others would not load).

Great stay!

Well-located in a quiet place (very peaceful overall; only exception being the two dogs next door who barked loudly and continuously every morning around 8 am. Two of the bedroom windows gave right onto the neighbors' house, as the homes are very close together. The barking was annoying, but cottage next door is not a rental - it is privately owned, so I assume there is nothing to do about this, and I'd still rent this same cottage again.) The little village of Bayside is beautiful and a bit hidden, and I really appreciated the town of Belfast as well, and went often to its book shops, the Belfast coop, etc. It wasn't too far away for errands. I have loved Maine ever since childhood (my parents brought us several times from Philadelphia when I was a child and young teen) and I have always wanted to bring my own children - I finally had the chance to do so this summer. We participated in a lot of activities including visiting sites and towns up and down the coast (south to Boothbay and north to Bar Harbor.) We visited Acadia National Park twice and did a boat excursion from Bar Harbor to see seals. We found a number of good places to eat when we ate out.

We really did have a great time. The cottage was really clean and bright and the beds were comfortable. We loved the "Maine Cottage" feel of the house. Our favorite part was sitting on the front porch and watching the sunset.

This was our best vacation yet. We are already planning to come back next summer!

Your company represented the property and area correctly. The area was quiet and enjoyable. The waterfront property was very enjoyable and the view was breath taking. The spectacular waterfront view [was our favorite feature].

Outstanding in all respects!! This was probably our 5th year at this property. We love it because we can roll out of bed and be in the lake, and the property requires little maintenance which is what a vacation is all about.

We have rented homes throughout the U.S. and Europe, and your agency is by far the most professional. Property details were clearly and honestly represented, and the place lived up to our expectations from the gorgeous photos. The fact that the owners provided ALL the basic necessities from linens to soap made a big difference. How wonderful it was to arrive at an exclusive vacation home with all the necessary amenities available. We will highly recommend you to our friends in the Boston area! (One tip: have an editor go over your written materials.)

We were very satisfied with the house, the location and even the neighbors. The staff at On the Water Inn Maine was very thorough with directions, house information and very valuable information about the area. We enjoyed our stay very much!
