This is our fourth rental through OTWIM. We think that is perhaps the strongest recommendation. Would we have come back for more punishment so often if we were not totally satisfied.

This is a charming house dating back to 1888. It was big enough to accommodate our family of nine and in addition would have been able to give a berth to our grandson and his girlfriend if they had been able to come. The pool is nice and the dining room table seated our entire group. We had a good time.

On the Water in Maine is the most customer oriented firm we have ever worked with. They take excellent care of their properties, provide detailed information to tenants and are always available should you have questions or concerns. They make the rental experience easy and enjoyable from start to finish.

Juniper Bank sits high above Owls Head Harbor. It provides beautiful views of Penobscot Bay and the sailboats and lobster boats that pass by. The house is spacious and comfortable and is equipped with all the modern features of a year-round home. It is within easy reach of Rockland and the many things mid-coast Maine has to offer. We love making Juniper Bank our home for a month every summer.

We don't consider "On the Water in Maine" just an "agency". They are a very caring family and do their utmost to see that your stay is perfect. They cover all the bases and are there 24/7 for any needs you may have.

We've stayed in the same home for six years now and it consider it our second home, not just a rental. Since we live in Florida we enjoy every single day there, rain fog or sun and being centrally located in Camden we can take advantage of the so many wonderful opportunities to enjoy either hiking, shopping, boating, swimming, visiting the many parks and lighthouses, or simply relaxing on the deck at home and of course eating lobster! How we found this home is a funny story. Six (or seven) years ago we wanted to get away from Florida summer heat. We wanted a house on the water and first searched in VRBO and found a home in Booth Bay but when we had difficulty communicating with the owner, my husband felt it would be better to deal with an agency whose sole job it was to take care of renting properties and being there for the renters, that was and is very important. So we searched again for a house, on the water, in Maine, and your agency's name popped up! We found the perfect home, the perfect family, caring "agency" to deal with, and have been coming back ever since!

Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Each phone conversation left me feeling happy.

Despite the bad weather, we had a wonderful time at this property. We were traveling with two small children (ages 5 and 2) and the house worked out really well. The single story was perfect (no stairs to worry about!), great bedrooms and the owners had everything thoughtfully laid out in the house (extra hooks for coats and bags in the sunroom, as well as for towels and robes in the bathroom). The views were amazing and our favorite times were spent around the dining room table. Our daughter also has severe food allergies and we rely on cooking at our vacation property and we were able to find everything that we needed (and then some!) at this home. We are grateful to the owners for providing so much of their personal property for us to use while we were there (children's books, toys, beach items, etc.). It was a joy to share your small piece of wonderment on the Maine coast.

The agency was very professional, organized, and easy to contact for questions.

We just loved staying at the Midocy Camp....very clean, well kept, and comfortable. The beach area and dock made swimming and boating so fun and easy. The kitchen was modern and big enough to easily cook and feed our family. The outside deck was wonderful....shady during the hottest part of the day and sunny later when the air had cooled.

The agency is great to work with they think of everything. The directions are detailed and easy to follow.

ON THE WATER PROPERTY RENTALS MADE THE RESERVATION PROCESS VERY EASY. INSTRUCTONS FOR EVERY THING IN THE HOUSE WERE COMPLETE.

OUR STAY AT PIPER COVE COTTAGE WAS PERFECT. THE HOUSE WAS CLEAN AND ALL THAT WE NEEDED WAS AVAILABLE. THE LOONS ON THE LAKE AND PERFECT FISHING MADE FOR A GREAT WEEK.

On The Water in Maine provides the best rental experience we've had in Maine. And we've been visiting for many years. We know what to expect, and we can just slip so easily into relaxation mode once we arrive.

We loved our stay at Blue Heron Cottage! Most of the time we were on the deck enjoying the wonderful view of the water, boats, and different birds. We loved the open layout of the interior and especially the view from the big windows. The window in the master bedroom was something we've never seen before but we adapted quickly to how to open and close it. When open it allowed a nice cross-breeze with the kitchen sink window, especially when the breezes came through the spruce trees with that nice scent.

On the water is professional, organized and we rent from them yearly. They make it easy and I love having towels and sheets provided

This is our second time staying at Rosehill and it's as good as we remembered. Our favorite feature is the large wrap-around deck. Nothing like relaxing on the deck, looking at the beautiful wild flowers and enjoying a cold beverage.

Halcyon Point is a modern art work house, scandinavian in its clean geometry and sparse serenity. The siting and orientation of the modern house has been planned to catch the spectacular view of Norton Island just s short gull fly from the rocks below Halcyon Point, and the open ocean to the southeast. The fog comes in quietly at times, and then is gone as quickly. The layout o the rooms is unconventional, but chosen to keep the footprint small. We did not use the Guest House, but that looked equally as appealing.

Rockcroft is a beautiful and comfortable house in a fantastic setting. It is very private and quiet.The view from the hottub across the water, day or night, is wonderfull

Great cottage with an incredible view. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. The only downside was that the website advertised a TV in the living area and master bedroom. There was only a TV in the master bedroom. It would have been nice for the family to watch movies on a rainy day without having to sit on the bed.
