Everyone I worked with at On The Water in Maine was extremely friendly and professional. Our drive from Audubon, New Jersey to Northport, Maine took over 3 hours longer than we expected. I called On The Water and was told that it was no issue and if they could, they would have left a bottle of wine in the cottage to reduce the "stress" of such a long drive. Very professional.

Beautiful cottage on the lake, with the ocean just opposite the road. Extremely comfortable furnishings with refrigerator, and washer and dryer. We spent every evening on the back porch overlooking the lake ... something I will always remember as paradise.

On the Water in Maine is efficient and leaves no detail to chance. They quickly responded to inquiries and requests.

The Playhouse is a comfortable, well-appointed cottage with spectacular views of Penobscot Bay. The location is quite private, yet only a few minutes from both Rockport and Camden. There are both paved and unpaved, lightly traveled roads suitable for walking and bicycling, which offer views of the bay and Rockport Harbor.

I have rented from On the Water in Maine before, was most happy, and was very pleased again this summer.

I was very happy with Belfast Harbor House. The inside is beautiful with lots of windows and harbor views!

Renting through your agency was simple snd fast. You have an efficient system.

We loved having a private dock and a beautiful view. We rented kayaks and went out every day.

The Blue Lupin accommodated two families with ease. The great room was fabulous to play games and watch the water. The kitchen was well equipped and a nice size. Being right next to the Waterman's Beach Lobster Shack was an added bonus! Yumm!!!

Justin, the Owner of On the Water in Maine, is amazing in his knowledge of rental properties and his memory of renter names. It is very relaxing to have a telephone # dedicated to quick response of questions and problems. The office staff fielding calls are wonderfully friendly and personal.

The overwheming feature of Halcyon Point is its site and view. It is all in the name...tranquil. There is great privacy from the one neighboring property with residents. The master bedroom is large and comfortable, the kitchen very well supplied to produce and enjoy full meals on site. And always a distracting view while cooking! The lazy upstairs den is like a cozy treehouse for relaxing in the morning with coffee and maple scone from The Market Basket until the day's plans pull together and again in the evening to watch some news or a movie.

Working with On the Water in Maine was a breeze. From the packet of information sent in the mail, all of the email contact before the trip to provide driving, and access instructions was just terrific. We had a breaker "pop" during our stay and the refrigerator went off, a quick phone call to the emergency number with a prompt call back was all it took to help us find the electrical breaker box and quickly flip the power back on. The whole problem resolved in less than 10 minutes.

The cottage was very well appointed, and every time we looked we found just what we needed in the kitchen. Our favorite thing was having a fire in the firepit every night and the chairs and umbrellas out front. We felt so relaxed at the cottage, a home away from home.

On the Water in Maine was very responsive and kept us informed during our stay. I would definitely use them again.

We liked the availability of a canoe on the property and the chairs near the water. The kitchen was well stocked, beyond the basics.A lovely home to spend our vacation time. The decor was simple and attractive. No comfort was overlooked.

Very well-organized operation, great attention to detail, pleasant tone in communications to guests. Professional cleaning after guest departure is a very good feature that makes preparations for departure much less pressured.

The house was comfortable for 2-3 adults, and everything (bathroom, kitchen, A/C, heat) in good working order. Good vista of the sea from upstairs bedroom window, and lovely place set up on the beach to sit and watch the sea. Would be happy to rent again. More reading lights in the living room-dining room area would make the overall experience even better.

We have used On the Water in Maine twice now and they are the only place I will look when planning future Maine vacations. They make every aspect of renting a cottage go smoothly.

We had a wonderful time at the 44 Degrees North Cottage. The location is central to so many things yet peaceful and quiet. The cottage was very comfortable and beautiful. The wildflower gardens and antique furnishings were my favorite.

The property is completely handicap accessible. The bedroom and bathroom on the first floor were easy to access and use.

Everyone I dealt with at On the Water in Maine was knowledgeable and professional. Meg helped a great deal in selecting the property; Justin stopped out on our first day to assist with internet connectivity issues and even changed a light bulb over the ping pong table before he left.

We loved Sea Cliff cottage. The decks and steps to the water view were amazing. Nothing better than sitting on the upper or lower deck with a cup of coffee and watching the lobster boats check their traps each morning. We had a great view of Indian Island Lighthouse. The Tour de France was taking place during our stay; watching the coverage on the large TV was terrific. The toddlers in our group loved the large family room; plenty of place for toys.We had 3 family grouops; this property allowed each group to have their own private space on separate floors. While we were here - we did a schooner trip (the Appledore) in Camden, walked the Rockland breakwater and boardwalk, drove to the top of Mount Battie and did some hiking at Camden State Parj, shopping in Camden, Lincolnville and Rockland, breakfast at the Brass Compass (even purchased a couple of buoys painted by a local artisan there), toured Rockport Harbor; breakfast at Home Kitchen Cafe; dinner at Flatbread Pizza, lunch at Landings in Rockland, dinner at the Waterfront in Camden; lunch at Peter Otts and Cuzzies in Camden and 3 Dogs in Rockport; a day at the Lincolnville Beach; our son's reheasal dinner at 40 Paper, wedding at Union Hall in Rockport and reception at the Megunticook Golf Club.

Excellent service. So easy to work with.

We love this cottage. It's in a quiet location, yet steps away from all the fun. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious. The screened porch is a favorite.
