Easy to deal with, extremely communicative and straight forward. I would not hesitate to seek out On Water in Maine again when looking for a vacation property rental.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Bar Island cottage. It was clean, cozy, well supplied and easy to get to. Incredibly close to the water with its' ever-changing scenery due to tidal currents and abundant wildlife surrounding the property.

The view from this house over the St. George River is fantastic, from multiple locations: deck, bedroom, yard. There is easy access to the waterfront and although not a swimming beach, it's a wonderful spot to sit and look out on the water. The tidal river is dramatic and it was fun to watch the different faces of the river, including the clammers who came out daily at low tide. The location is distant from the road and unusually quiet.

Ben was great, very friendly and helpful and the owner even came over to help with the electronics!

We had a wonderful family vacation and the cottage had the right kind of space to accommodate our needs. The views were spectacular and the downstairs area was perfect for the teenagers in our group.

It was extremely easy to work with Justin, et al. Your written communications were timely and clear.

We are hardly typical, having once owned the property, but we had an absolutely wonderful time! All the changes the Owner has made are definitely for the better. We had as guests 3 old college friends who had been there 52 years ago, just before we graduated, and they too truly enjoyed seeing it again. Favorite features: the new stairs and the comfy armchairs - not to mention the wonderful shower!

Nice experience working with On the Water in Maine. Everything was easy and there were no snags or miscommunications. All the details were considered to make the stay easy and pleasant.

We loved the house. It was elegant yet felt like home. There were plenty of spaces for our family of 8 to hang out together or separate. The kitchen was great to cook in and had all the nicest cookwear and appliances. It was so easy to walk to the coffee shop, restaurants and shops. When we come back to Camden I would hope to stay in the High Street House again.

Everyone at OTWIM has been fantastically helpful and friendly. The communications have been prompt and informed. We especially appreciated the email advising us of possible delays on our return journey. We were always going to have an early start but this helped to confirm our decision.

A lovely property, filled with character from the decorations to the quilts on the bed. It looked like a small cottage but was actually quite spacious. We really loved all the nautical stuff. You could tell that it was a place which was loved and this was true of us too. My kids loved the spiral staircase and us parents especially appreciated the sun deck with the views of the harbour. This was truly a delight and on the last day, I had to spend five minutes of our special travelling time saying farewell. Just wonderful.

The view and the deck - that was the biggest positive. The beach was lovely as well - the landscaping was WONDERFUL and the hanging plants brought in the humming birds - a BIG hit.

Wonderful home and spectacular views! Can't wait to come back! The outdoor seafood cooker was a huge plus for us. The outdoor shower was so helpful after the beach!

Our house was great! It had everything we needed and was very cozy. The backyard was a beautiful place to relax and unwind. One full day we actually stayed "home".

since we've rented with onthewater several times, the process was hassle free, drama free and stress free (perhaps you should consult the Hilton chain because they are not there yet.) we anticipated a great, relaxing vacation and it lived up to our expectations.

Everything was great! We booked everything relatively last minute and overall it was seamless.

When we arrived, we were immediately content with the decor of the house and the modern kitchen. Checking in was a breeze and we were able to kickoff our holiday without any headaches.

The view from the deck was amazing! We had our breakfast at the table outside every morning! The scenery was amazing. We loved all the little quaint villages, watching the lobster boats, and all the great fresh seafood! WE will definitely be coming back.

We had some trouble with our first rental but Justin at On the Water in Maine swooped in and ameliorated the issue as soon as I let him know. This was much appreciated.

As a family with an early sleeper, it was so nice having a separate sleeping space. We were able to put our daughter down for naps and bed in the small cottage while we cooked and hung out in the big one. The WiFi worked well enough for her monitor and we knew she couldn't hear us!

Everyone at On the Water in Maine was quite helpful. Ben came and fixed a few problems and his suggestion to restart my iphone which quit, saved my day.

This home was great. The porch views, the ability to get down and beach comb, go walking up the road and bird watch, the amenities, bathrooms, bedrooms,and all were wonderful. The water directly from the taps was so good too. The location close to town is ideal.

We have always had a great renting experiencing with On the Water. Rarely, have we needed anything, but when we have the request was granted quickly. I also very much appreciated the early call on Friday saying that property was available.

Hands down, our favorite feature is the view and access to Crockett's Beach. I was disappointed to learn of the "behavior changes" asked of the guests (and Ellis Family) in regards to the neighbors to the south. We had no issues with them, and in fact, I intentionally struck up friendly conversations early in our stay in order to alleviate any problems during our two week stay. I did miss the fires by the ocean, however.

The agency is terrific, prompt, responsive and everything was well thought out.

We loved the design and architecture of the Bar Island cottage, from the wrap-around windows and deck to the vaulted ceilings, beams and track lighting. It is private and peaceful and a wonderful place to relax and let nature in.

Each time I called, I received very courteous attention and good information. I had a family problem which caused me to have to cancel and then ultimately reschedule. My conversations were with Meg and she could not have been more helpfuland was so understanding.

The house and the yard were amazing and the fact that the house was so well stocked was great.
