Efficient

Good location close to Rockland and local markets for Lobster. Although not used like the separation of the bedrooms and baths. The furniture in the living and the TV room was uncomfortable and could use updating. No Lobster pot. Coffee maker was old and could use replacement.

Everyone on staff has always been helpful. The property book is full of answers to any issue. Problems are solved quickly and efficiently. Great agency to work with!

We found the property well supplied with all our needs. We are a cooking family and the house was ready to serve our needs. The sun filled our days and the rooms with energy. We had a lovely week.

I was always treated with respect and had my questions answered promptly. They assisted me with some adjustments that needed to be made for our family and were very kind about it. I would recommend them to anyone and already have.

I spent a wonderful week with my family, 3 generations at this property. We all had a wonderful time, the porch and the views had to be the best part of the house. It was very relaxing, the landscaping was beautifully done, the house itself was excellent. There was plenty of room for everyone, you could go off on your own if you wanted to, or have everyone together in the kitchen. Speaking of the kitchen, I wanted to take it home with me. It was a pleasure to work in, very nice range, well appointed, and lots of room. The first floor master suite was very nice and worked well for my husband and I. I highly recommend visiting the businesses in Port Clyde and taking the ferry out to Monhegan Island.

This is truly a lovely home to vacation in. The blue dcor is inviting and restful. The view from the main living area and the upstairs bedroom are marvelous. Everything about the house is first-class and a wonderful place to come back to at the end of the day! Would vacation again and highly recommend it!

We loved everything about Our Song. Lermond Pond is a lovely small lake, quiet and peaceful, and the house is located on a quiet dead end road. The cottage itself is charming with so many thoughtful details throughout: comfortable beds, equipped kitchen, lovely furnishings, the list goes on. We had some rainy days and sunny days--classic Maine vacation weather--but it didn't bother us as we were able to enjoy the inside (and nearby towns) on rainy days and the lake on sunny days. We met most of the friendly neighbors while we were there, and look forward to coming back!

It was easy working with On the Water in Maine. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Bruce was great.

We loved our stay at Oak Point Cottage. We never saw an airplane, however we did see eagles, osprey, ducks, momma doe, brand new fawn, grandmother (gray) doe, fox, seals. We canoed, kayaked, hiked, bicycled and played bocce in the evening. The house is comfortable, beds comfortable. Everything we needed. The location was magnificent exactly what we were looking for. We usually do many activities along the Bold Coast but is was really hard to leave the cottage property. I would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to get away from everything.

On the Water in Maine was very complete from start to finish. We knew what was next and all done electronically.

This location was amazing. Just a few feet from the water and very quiet and peaceful. In a 30 minute period of time we saw osprey, loons feeding, and of course seagulls. Having morning coffee out in the Adirondack chairs with the sun coming up was wonderful. The location was easy and quick to get out to Rt. 1.

The best. That was our 4th dealing with "On The Water In Maine" and we found the Agency to be very professional and helpful in every way. Wish we lived closer to make more frequent trips to Maine - and enjoy another stay on the ocean, via this Agency.

A very lovely property and grounds for adults (not small children). Lots of elegant privacy and quietness, beautiful views - especially from the ocean-facing windows and the deck, spectacular sun-rises, many eagles and deer to admire, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and an easy and quick access to Rockland.

We spent a beautiful week at Marylea cottage. The harbor views are picturesque and tranquil. The kitchen was well appointed and the living areas were welcoming and comfortable. The deck and screened porch were great for Al fresco dining! The gardens and landscaping was lovely. This grand home is centrally located for easy day trips for sightseeing to Camden, Rockland, Owl's head, Lincolnville, Marshall Point light house and other sites. Many fabulous restaurants are within a 10 minute drive. We loved all of the family portraits and memorabilia in the cottage, evidence that this special home has been loved by generations.

The kitchen was amazing and I found everything I needed to cook delicious meals. The decor of the entire home was beautiful and nicely coordinated, not a hodge podge of leftover pieces. We have visited. Mid-Coast Maine five times and this was the nicest most well appointed home we stayed in.

Having rented villas, chalets, cottages and yachts in the US, UK, mainland Europe and the Middle East, we can comfortably say that On The Water in Maine is one of the most professionally run agencies we have used in our travels. We previously used other companies for Maine rentals and, based on our positive experience with On the Water in Maine, we'll never look back!

The Rough House is a charming, up-to-date, beautifully presented Maine cottage that is furnished with unique antiques. We felt privileged to stay there with our young family. The serenity of the environment is noteworthy. It is located on a private road and the surrounding area is excellent for peaceful walks and running. We regularly visited the quiet beach for beach combing, swimming and relaxing. Rockport center, Rockland and Camden are all very close. We look forward to visiting the Rough House next year!

Had a great time! The house was perfect for a family of 4. Loved the day bed in the porch - my younger son slept on it. The kitchen was very well equipped. I think we were the first to use some of the equipment/utensils so it was in good shape. I know not everyone makes use of the full kitchen in a rental but we sure did. Obviously the owners like to cook too. The location was perfect - so close to town yet quiet at night.

The folks at On the Water in Maine were very professional. Answered all our questions in a timely manner. They were great. Plan on renting from them next year. I have already started to look for places for 2016.

We had our 2 grandchildren with us so the fenced in yard was especially appreciated. The beachcomber was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the sun porch, very relaxing. My grandson loved bose radio, dance party on the deck.Great place

The staff of On the Water in Maine were very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. I needed to have an adjustment made for a family member's disability, and the staff were very kind, and obtained a piece of equipment to make the stay easier. This took the worry out of the equation for us.

We really enjoyed sitting on the porch, the view of the harbor was excellent, watching the boats and ferries come and go, and the bonus of having a bald eagle visit the property several times, was awesome! I'd say we spent most of our time on the porch. We had our whole family here, 3 generations, and it worked well for everyone. The grounds are just beautiful and with a large lawn to play wiffle ball and football. The sunsets were stunning. The kitchen was so easy to work in, and well appointed, plenty of room for everyone to work. I recommend The Dip Net in town for a casual and delicious meal, the ice cream shop was delish, coffee at The Ink Squid was great, and then you can't beat the breakfast sandwich at the General Store. The kids rented kayaks from the shop in town and had a great experience. Thank you for some great memories, I plan on coming back!
