Working with On the Water in Maine was a great experience. Everyone was extremely nice and they responded to any questions and concerns quickly.

Vacationland was our home away from home for a week! Our favorite part of the property was the view of the lake from the house and the dock/easy access to the lake! This was a our first trip to Maine, our favorite parts about the area were the view from Camden Hills State Park! The best restaurant is Primo in Rockland! While we were here we fished, canoed, hiked, shopped, cooked, and visited local towns.

On the Water in Maine was great - they answered all of our questions and checked in with us to ensure we fully understood how to use the features of the property. Very professional, courteous and timely!

The view was amazing from every room - we loved the cozy yet spacious feel of Rockcroft!

This property is excellent. It's a great location and the accommodations are comfortable. I love all the attention to details in the house- there's a reading nook and a hot water heater that NEVER runs out! I'm interested in renting it again.

i LOVE this cute carriage house on Whitmore Creek! We've stayed here 3 times over the years. It's on a quiet dead-end street, but has a secret path that makes it only a 3-block walk right into the heart of town. The place is so appealing- beautiful old, wood floors, exposed beams, lots of windows overlooking greenery, a special sleeping floor with alcoved beds, skylights. desk space, shelves, closets and a small balcony. The best part was hearing the church bells ring on the hour, and seeing the church steeple letup at night from our bed. It was fun and freeing to live in a small house for our vacation. Cozy, comfortable and charming.

We stayed a Piper Cove last Summer for one week. It was everything you could ask for in a vacation. The accommodations were perfect. The view of the lake is the most tranquil beautiful view to wake up to every morning. It is still etched in my mind! The surrounding towns,the stores and market places are a delight to go to. Excellent restaurants and Lobster of course. we loved staying home and cooking as well. Piper Cove has all you need. We took a day trip to Arcadia National Park which was great and worth doing. Piper Cove was one of our best vacations!!!

This house is adorable, clean and very well appointed. The house is situated very close to the water, and the view is unbelievable. We enjoyed sitting on the dock all day long, but especially at sunset. Plus it was really cool to hear the loons at night and swim in the lake. I am super picky about where I stay (can't handle anything gross), and I will definitely be staying here again.

My biggest compliment about the agency is that we had no problems of any kind.

It's just a perfect place ... isolated and quiet but 15 minutes to Camden for anything you'd want. The dock is nice. The house has everything you need. We will definitely be back.

Nokomis is a delightful and beautiful home. We loved the waterfront location and the fantastic view. The owners of the home have created an inviting and relaxing home for stay of their renters.

In her comments, she felt that we imposed too many rules and restrictions at the property. While all the over 8 weeks of rentals for 2015 are by repeat guests that stayed at the property in 2014, and none of them shared those feelings with us, and all still are coming back, we are reviewing the presentation of the property information to ensure that all our Guests feel welcome in the property and that too many requests are not made of them. Additionally, the Guest didn't think the property was cleaned to the standards that she should have seen. While the Guest never informed us when she was in residence that any cleaning issues existed, we won't disregard her comments and will ensure that we work harder to make the property clean and up to the standards that all our guests expect from us. Note the 2 Surveys by Guests in October, AFTER this Guest's stay below that are both 5-Star.

We are reviewing and addressing all her concerns to ensure that this 5-star property continues to get 5-star scoring. OTWIM was very responsive.

The setting is magical with open views of the water from almost every room. The house feels intimate yet offers plenty of room for two couples to retreat to their own space.

Top notch customer service.

This was a very enjoyable rental in which to spend two weeks on Maine's coast. The overwhelming asset is the view from all parts of the house. The house itself is very simple with the only comfortable relaxing space on the second level. The one bedroom is large with a comfortable king bed. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking meals. The downside is the one small bathroom. An upgrade to a larger TV would be welcome. Rockland is 15-20 min. by car, the closest place for adequate shopping. A really enchanting spot to which we would return.

This is our third rental through On the Water in Maine and find their services exemplary. Questions and concerns are addressed immediately and they offer clean well-appointed properties that have been beyond our expectations.

We needed a get-away but were concerned about vacationing the last week of October in Maine... well, we were delighted to find this little treasure, ideally located and thoughtfully appointed with every amenity we could possibly need. And the weather cooperated too! We couldn't be more pleased with Rockcroft and we will be back!

We loved most things about this property, especially the well-equipped kitchen (although a few more cups/mugs than 6 would have been handy) the comfortable furnishings and the view. The only disappointment was the lack of closet space in the second bedroom. A cupboard or a second set of drawers instead of a work desk would have been much more useful.

The house was nicely renovated and very comfortable. The location could not have been better, close to many great restaurants and hikes.

Always very helpful during the reservation process...kept us well informed as the date of our stay got closer. Stopped by the office and met Justin on our last day. Look forward to staying (longer we hope) with On the Water in Maine in the future!!

Absolute "Home Run". Everything we expected and more. A perfect Mid-Coastal Maine experience. Location right on the water was great...with windows open at night going to sleep with the sound of the incoming or outgoing tides. Rising early to set in the backyard with a warm cup of coffee watching the sun rise between the massive pines at the waters edge. Kitchen equipped with everything needed to cook up the fresh "caught that day" 2# lobstas or to prepare fresh blueberry pancakes in the morning. Location is a not right in town but that gives that extra "away from the herd" feeling we like. Still close enough to be in Camden or Rockport in 5 minutes. Less than 2 hours drive from lots of destinations such as Arcadia National Park, Maine Botanical Gardens in Booth Bay or awesome Maine apple orchards in the interior. Liked the house being a single story...nice not having to go up & down stairs.

A very efficient simple process making the booking online with friendly helpful staff when the need arose to call by phone.

Stayed for 9 nights in September & could easily have stayed longer. This is a very comfortable cottage exactly as in the photos in a quiet residential area away from the main road. Sitting on the deck watching the boats to & fro to the harbour was a delight.

On the Water in Maine's website is simple to navigate. I have rented from this agency 4 or 5 times and have never had a problem.

Lovely, clean property. Bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. Great house and an easy walk to town, restaurants, etc. Plus the board walk is just across the street.

The property, Watch Point was absolutely beautiful, serene and very comfortable. The trails were wonderful to explore the acreage, the beach very nice. A very quiet piece of property. WE were very pleased.
