On The Water in Maine kept us informed about everything from how the house was stocked to potential traffic we may hit coming or going. They were very easy to work with and made our renting experience easy to navigate.

Beautiful clean cottage with unbeatable views!

Sunfish cottage was a great home on a lovely lake! The house was very comfortable and clean and the location was perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing. Our family had a great time!

The view from Lincoln Lookout is simply amazing. We really enjoyed just sitting on the deck and watching the activity on the bay and the view out to the ocean. Incredibly relaxing and peaceful.

Our stay at Rosehill cottage was everything that we had hoped for. The cottage was a perfect place for my brother and I/kids to stay while visiting our family in the mid-coast region. In addition to the great location, the cottage was very clean and tastefully decorated with thoughtful touches. The owners have done a fantastic job updating the place with modern conveniences, yet retaining the charm and character of a classic "Maine" beach cottage that I recall from growing up on the Maine coast. As an interior design professional...and a Maine native... I'm very particular.... and Rosehill cottage was perfect!

I had no problems with the agency, and no reason to call them in during our stay.

Seaside Cottage is a beautifully appointed home with a spacious floor plan. The hardwood floors, lovely decor, and bay views of Rockland Harbor made for a very comfortable stay.

Love working with On the Water in Maine and staff. This is our third year and we are already planning on next summer. The staff is very courteous and helpful. I am confident that my summer arrangements will be smooth and we will have a wonderful experience.

The cottage was lovely and very comfortable. We especially loved the dock and spent most of the day there, sunbathing, swimming and canoeing (we rented one for the week). We are hoping to return to this cottage next summer.

Everyone that we spoke with at On the Water in Maine was very friendly and helpful. When we could not find a blender in the house (which was supposed to be there), a representative worked fairly quickly to resolve the problem. They were always prompt and courteous in our correspondences.

We had a great time at the Altus Cottage! The home was beautiful, and the neighborhood was mostly quiet. We loved the family-friendly touches (like toys and a baby gate) that made us feel extra welcome when we walked in the door. The two (small) beaches near the house we nice, but we mostly drove to other cities for fun (Belfast, Lincolnville, Rockland, and Acadia/Bar Harbor).

Thanks for the perfect stay we had at Seascape Cottage in Owls Head right by the sea. The bedroom looks like a honeymoon suite overlooking the ocean. We could hear the waves crashing on the rocks. Every morning we started our day with coffee down on the beach, followed by breakfast at the Owl's Head Store, and then an easy walk to the lighthouse. Check opening hours if you want to go inside and view the lighthouse. There are nice little towns with great restaurants nearby - Rockland, Rockport, and Camden - worth visiting during our stay in the cottage. We received good advice where to go for the best food, nice atmosphere, and must -sees for the area. Thanks for the lovely stay we had, it's a very special place for us. Working with On the Water in Maine was great! They were pleasant to deal with and their policies and procedures were very easy to follow. When we called them to resolve some issues, they came first thing the next day and resolved everything quickly and pleasantly.

We had a nice week. It was very relaxing. The Crow's Nest has a beautiful view, but is very rustic.

The agency was great, we had a couple of questions that were anwsered very quickly, and Meg notified us that the rental was ready an hour before schedule. Easy to work with, great personalities.

Our house was beautiful, excellent location, we had a blast tubing and kayaking off the rock beach. Located close enough to Rockland, attended the Lobster Festival, ate at some nice restuarants. Flew out to Matinicus Island for a day. Would certainly vacation again in this area.

This is our 3rd year with On The Water In Maine. It is by far the best rental company we have every been with! The views from the property were amazing! The main house and guest house exceeded our expectations. The property is in a very private setting but we were still close to everything in the area.

Your office was great with all the information you sent via email right from the beginning to reserve the rental. Staying in touch while the weeks passed waiting for our vacation to start and then in the end when it was check out time.

The house had a perfect location for all we wanted to see and do in Boothbay Harbor with a wonderful view of the cove. Boating, restaurants, a cozy little beach and one of the best Botanical Gardens we have ever visited literally just minutes from our door. No traffic to deal with. Had a great time!
