Very impressed at the follow through contacts from On the Water in Maine as our June vacation approached!

Stayed at Lincoln Lookout June 12-19. A wonderful experience; the house was so clean, I was amazed! And it was very well stocked with furniture, kitchen stuff etc., not a rental type house but a home! The view was terrific, it was very private-- nothing negative to say! Thank you.

The staff from On the Water in Maine is just right up the road and can respond quickly to any needs.

Beautiful home with a view! The property was amazing and we had a wonderful time. Unlike staying in a hotel, the entire family has the ability to have their own space, and time to themselves. Kids had a blast with the numerous variety of board games. The moonrise over the water was spectacular at night.

Absolutely fabulous coming all the way from England and having stayed in rental homes all my life this one rates at the top of my list. Gem littleton ma Jo and stu Charlesworth: this is our fifth rental home in mid maine and the north cottage is by far the best. Hilights were the house amenities and upgrades comfy beds and quality throughout to say nothing of the views and gardens. Could go on forever but won't bore you. Pls let us know when we can book for next year. Thank you!

Always a good experience with On the Water in Maine. Had a (minor) problem with the oven. You responded in record time. That shows your attentiveness to renter's needs.

We loved the large deck with ocean views and the very quiet and peaceful nature of the location.

This is the first time I had booked a cottage--as well as online. The staff at On the Water in Maine was extremely helpful from the time we booked it, through the entire process. They kept me informed about all I needed to know to prepare for the trip and to locate the house. We had no issues at all while at the property.

The location of this property was amazing. I can't imagine a better site for a home. We would sit in the yard everyday and just enjoy the view. The cottage was situated on a large private piece of land. It was very relaxing. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable for two couples. The views from inside the house were just as stunning as those from outside.

The property managers at On the Water in Maine were very responsive to our needs and requests. Even though we had some problems with the property the first few days, all were eventually taken care of.

The location and views are amazing! We loved the spaciousness of the house and the ample seating in the living room and dining room. The kitchen was well-equipped and the deck was wonderful. We loved being able to watch the loons diving out in the water.

We had no problems at all at check in or check out with On the Water in Maine. Ben was great to work with. They also where able to mail us left personal items back home to us.

Just like looms, location, location, location. One of our favorite features was definitely the pond, we couldn't stay off the water, from fishing to just sitting on the dock at nights. A huge plus for our family was all the supplies that we found in the home (spices, lobster dishes, bags, and foil) making it very convent to cook without having to think about the little things you might need.

On the Water in Maine - all aspects are top notch! The folks are always keeping us updated on our status of what we need to do and when. The staff is easy to work with - friendly and very professional. Keep up the great work!

Location, location, location! Our stay could not have been better. The view of the water was outstanding and the seclusion in the woods was wonderful! The sunrises were spectacular and it was fun to watch the dolphin, seal and lobster boats from the deck. The amenities truly met our expectations. Linens were fresh, good quality, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked! The owners did a great job putting the extra touches on their home that they so graciously share with others! Thanks for helping us celebrate our retirement and 46th wedding anniversary!

The Agency is efficient. On the Water in Maine makes your vacation easy with a clean property, great explanations of everything you need to know, plus guide books to help navigate the area. We would definitely refer our friends!

Sunset Cottage had everything you want in a rental property and then some. We travelled with teens and they loved the ping pong table and the game room upstairs. The reading room and sunporch we the perfect start and finish to the day. We did a bunch of day trips including Portland, Freeport, Brunswick, Popham Beach. Popham Beach was breathtaking. We would definitely do that again.

We totally enjoyed Juniper Bank! We had not stayed in this area of Maine before and we loved it's quiet and private location. House was very comfortable and had everything one would need, so well equipped, neat, clean, spacious and organized. we enjoyed gorgeous sunrises in the morning and had most of our meals at the table and chairs on the back deck overlooking the beautiful water and it was very private!

On the Water in Maine were very helpful and allowed us to stay six nights versus the standard seven days. They went out of their way to make sure that we easily collected the lock code to get into the house. Meg was extremely nice and even shared some tips on some neat spots to see in the area.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The house is beautiful and comfortable. I was grateful that you had a washer and dryer which made things very convenient. The view was amazing and I loved all of the windows that allowed us to let in fresh air. Both decks were used often and provided a nice place to relax outside. I love all the water, the peninsulas, the islands, all the song birds, the crisp air, the trees, the ginormous boulders, the architecture, but most of all the people. I have been from Harpswell to Camden during this trip and didn't have an a unfavorable experience with any of the locals.

All of my interactions with the On the Water staff were very positive. Each person I spoke to was helpful and pleasant.

Lovely home with beautiful views. Very peaceful and quiet. We found ourselves traveling to Ellsworth and Bar Harbor/Acadia most days. The weather was rainy for the first 3 days. We found ourselves doing a lot of driving on those days and not getting out of the car very much. We drove to Campobello Island one day and enjoyed that quite a bit. Once it stopped raining, we took several hikes, enjoyed a nature cruise and visited a few of the local shops. We also enjoyed several restaurants in the area - Jordan Pond Restaurant, Finn's, and Tracy's Seafood. In terms of amenities in Milbridge and Steuben, there was not a lot. At least not that we could find.Again, we did a lot of driving. We loved the cottage but wish it had been closer to Acadia or that Milbridge had been more inviting.

Can't say enough great things about On the Water in Maine, everyone has been so nice and helpful. We have rented before from them and will rent again from them.

We loved the cabin, it was warm and cozy. The location on the lake was perfect but would have been better if the weather was nicer (it rained most of the week).

On the Water in Maine was very well organized!

Wonderful home, great location! The house itself was comfortable, clean and perfect for our group. The views, just lovely. 2 of us had been to Maine, the other family of 4 had not and neither had our 2 children (our daughter was here when she was 1 1/2 years old). Loved the beauty of the outdoors, the friendliness of the people we encountered, and the variety of things to do.

Everyone we made contact with at On the Water in Maine was very friendly and professional. We look forward to being able to rent a property from you all again soon! We would definitely recommend you all to anyone!

Where do I begin? This property has the most amazing view. Everyday there was something different to see. We were also very quickly introduced to the song birds and shore birds of Maine, as this property is surrounded by each. This property is very well furnished with everything you could possibly need. We especially enjoyed sitting by the outside fire pit at night and drinking coffee watching the sunrise in the morning. If you need a place to unwind and forget about any stressors in your life, this is the place to do just that! We can't wait to share this experience with our friends and family. We did travel 1-2 hours from the property for the activities we did. The Hardy Cruise Puffin Tour was fantastic as was the trip we took to Acadia.

All of the folks I dealt with at On the Water in Maine were helpful and professional. They were even patient with my endless questions :) We arrived after hours and spoke to Ben. He was very friendly and professional. He even gave us a couple great pointers of places to check out while we were in town.

Schooner View was gorgeous! It is located very close (less than five minute walk) to town. The view was amazing. I expected for the property to be nice based on the photos. But I must say it exceeded my expectations in a big way! The patio was a great place to relax and enjoy an afternoon cocktail and snack. The kitchen was amazing and very well stocked! There were tons of kitchen gadgets, plates, cups, serving dishes, etc.
