Always professional. I left some of my clothes at an Inn on the way to Maine. They shipped them to On the Water in Maine and they brought the package to me when it arrived.

Drift Inn cottage is in a beautiful, secluded setting. I enjoyed drinking my morning cup of tea out on the Adirondack chairs. When we wanted to go into town, it was a short walk away but when we wanted to be alone, we were peacefully alone on the property.

On the Water in Maine, Inc. is a great agency to work with. They respond quickly to any questions and made the entire rental process easy. Many details were provided which eliminated the need for questions. The directions to the property were easy to follow. Also, I did call the agency on one occasion because the propane tank for the lobster pot was missing. Although we were instructed to take the tank off the grill to use, another tank was delivered to the cottage for the lobster pot that same day. This was appreciated.

The property exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bedrooms very comfortable and the living areas are spacious. The view was our favorite feature. We enjoyed the deck and the spacious lawn as well.

On the Water in Maine was great to work with. Their instructions for renting and staying in the cottage were very thorough and answered all of our questions before we even asked them. The owners are very responsive.

The cottage is a classic Maine camp with spectacular views of the Penobscot Bay. We really enjoyed coffee on the porch in the morning and dinner there in the evening.

House had plenty of room for the family. Nice grounds and beautiful view. Grandchildren had fun catching fish on dock. Close to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, yet secluded and private. Bathrooms and kitchen could stand some upgrades.

All emails were very clear and explicit, and provided a wealth of information. Everyone I spoke with on the phone was curteous and helpful.

The house was very comfortable and clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The location was very convenient for walking into town or easily driving to nearby towns/attractions.

Seamless as always

Property was just as nice as it was last year. Having the swingset is such a huge bonus with kids! Also love how well equipped the place is.

The Midocy cottage is very cozy and comfortable and situated on a wonderful lake to explore! We had a very relaxing week and did lots of exploring of local sights!

On-the-water appears to be well organized and customer service oriented. The employees were friendly and helpful. We would certainly use their services in the future.

A pleasant comfortable house in our favorite part of the lake. Really enjoyed the flat lawn leading to the lake. Morning coffee on the deck and evening cocktails on the lawn near the water were very enjoyable. Great location to swim, paddle board, or kayak. Would definitely rent this house again.

Dock was great...nice job on newer steps....Grill was awesome (starter worked great..tank was full and could cook on low temp. Webber's are the best!). Washer and dryer were key to us (my wife will not rent without them). Good working kitchen too. Great for our kids allergies...no dog/cat hair. We will be back if weeks work out...Great stay and thank you...We are familiar with the lake as we have stayed on the lake before. Internet was also key with wireless access.

Everyone I spoke with four corresponded with were extremely professional but very laid-back. It was almost as though we were renting from friends.

The Periwinkle Cottage was perfect. Our 15 month old daughter loved throwing stones into the water and playing in the small side yard. House was well equipped with everything we didn't even know we needed- hand mixer to make fresh whipped cream, an assortment of books for rainy days, and extra pillows for added comfort. The private pebble beach was the icing on the cake!

Working with On the Water in Maine is delightful. This is the second time we have rented from them and the experience is always terrific. From the initial call to the ease of checking out via telephone, every contact is a pleasure.

We loved our week at Harbor Light Cottage. This was an ideal location for an adult escape. The proximity to the harbor was wonderful, as was the option to walk to the two terrific restaurants just a block down the street. The furnishings in the house were lovely and it was a pleasure to enjoy modern amenities in a Maine vacation home.

Both times I called with a question staff was available and friendly.

We liked the plentiful hot water especially in the outdoor shower . The view is great . We enjoyed the ease iit swimming and kayaking , canoeing from the deck and the dock to swim out too. We liked having a big yard for the kids and the firepit and picnic table . It is peaceful here . It was fun To see eagles and see and hear loons. Lots if games and books . Internet worked fine . Belfast is close and an interesting town .

Great experience and even gave us traffic alerts! Very detailed and didn't miss a thing about our stay.

We just love staying at the Blue Lupine and enjoyed a memorable week again with our family. The view is spectacular and it has all the amenities we could ever ask for.

Oh my lord, this property had too many "favorite features" to count, but here are a few: the location - holy moley. The yard out back was stunning, allowing for fabulous lawn games; the walk down to the water was scenic (a very short walk --mere steps-- but a lovely one!), and the beach beautiful. The house is gorgeous and was super clean. (The workmanship in the house is incredible - baseboards, paint, etc.) The beds were unbelievably comfortable - one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in (I wasn't the only one to say this). The towels were luxurious. The washer and dryer worked amazingly well. As my husband said - "you know this property is new because there are [electrical] outlets everywhere you could possibly want one." There was a coffee machine, a keurig, great pans, etc. Everything about this home was fabulous (ok - tiny, minor inconvenience was the internet was spotty - worked most of the time, but came in and out sometimes.) Seriously amazing in general, though.

This home is beautiful. We were lucky enough to be invited to stay a few days with family,it was awesome, the little details make you feel at home. We WILL be booking a week or hopefully two next summer.

Working with everyone at On the Water in Maine was wonderful! All of our communications, (email and telephone) were great. Meg was very helpful and Justin was too.

The house was as advertised! It was located in a beautiful area with a lot of privacy.
