Smooth working experience. Enjoyed all the details provided before and during our stay. No surprises and we like that.

The location was perfect. Our favorite feature of the house is the porch, and we enjoyed taking in the view of the harbor every day. We also loved being able to walk to the General Store, The Dip Net, for lobsters or to take the Laura B to Monhegan. This is concerning the TV......while we understand the owners probably aren't big TV watchers, it sure was uncomfortable to sit on hard dining room chairs to watch it. I would imagine most guests would prefer the TV be in the front room where there are overstuffed chairs. I preferred to watch the harbor view, but my husband preferred TV.....even on hard chairs!!!!

Working with the office through e-mail is efficient and easy. Working with Ben on the few problems during our stay has been very pleasent.

The location of Bay Breeze is wonderful; private, quiet, and on the ocean. The house is superior to any rental we have ever utilized.

I cannot say enough about how nice it was to rent through On the Water in Maine. I have rented many homes, and this agency was by far the best to work with. The caretaker of the homes, Ben was great. He answered immediately when we had a question, and was right there if we needed anything.

We stayed at 40 Sea Street for the Camden Film Festival. There were 4 of us, and we all enjoyed the house very much. It is a short walk into town, so no need of a car into Camden. The kitchen was perfect for us, cooking meals at home. There is a large table to eat, and plenty of room to relax in the living room and porch. The only down side was the small bunk bed room. The two women who shared that room were not that comfortable. I think the house is perfect for two couples, and children in the bunk room, but not adults in that room. The King and Queen bedrooms were very comfortable. We had one bathroom, but worked that out fine. Everything you could want was there, and we would definitely rent this house again.

Atlantic Sunrise is an top notch,lovely and comfortable home in a setting that takes your breath away from sunrise, high and low tide to stargazing.

I have used many rental agents for vacation properties in various parts of the U.S.--this was the easiest to book, check-in, and check-out.

The view was fantastic! The location felt remote but was convenient to restaurants, shopping and more.

My experience with On the Water in Maine was very positive. From the moment I made the online reservation, the agency was very communicative. The rental transaction went quickly and smoothly, again with good communication from On the Water in Maine. We were provided clear information on the property location, directions for accessing the cottage, and information about the area. We called the agency to report a minor issue (that turned out to be a non-issue), and they were quickly responsive. Staff were also very helpful when a family member was attempting to call us at the cottage. We were extremely pleased with our interactions with On the Water in Maine.

The Ducktrap Cottage was a perfect spot to spend our week in Maine. It was in a quiet location just a short walk to the water and was convenient to locations that we wanted to visit. The cottage was very comfortable. One of my favorite features was the sun room, a great bright spot to read. I was delighted to find a pitcher of fresh-cut flowers in the sun room when we arrived, a thoughtful touch. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, and it was convenient having access to Wi-Fi. We also challenged each other at the horseshoe pit in the back yard! When you rent a cottage online, you are never exactly sure what it will be like. We were very happy with the Ducktrap Cottage.

Property was as represented and administrative matters went flawlessly. Truly a first class experience. Great value for money.

The staff at On the Water in Maine were very professional and helful... the entire process was easy and stress free.

The cottage was just wonderful so quaint. The two seperate bedrooms was nice as we shared the facility with our friends from Colorado and it gave us each our privacy at bedtime. The ocean views were beautiful and the night sky and stars were just breathtaking.

Our experience with On the Water in Maine was entirely positive. On the one occasion when help was needed, Justin was there and solved our problem within minutes.

The contemporary interior was fresh, attractive, spacious, and tastefully done. The harbor view from the living/dining area and from the balcony were especially attractive features.

Easy check-in and -out by phone. Clear pre-instructions via email made it easy to find the cottage and get in.

We loved our stay at Ducktrap Cottage. The location in mid-coast Maine is perfect for explorations both north and south and the house itself is on a lovely property just a few yards from the water on a very quiet little road. The sun room is a treasure.

Booking on-line was easy and the agency was very clear & direct about what we would find on arrival...and what was expected of us as guests. No surprises.

Sept.24, 14 My husband & I and our friends all agreed that this pair of cottages was THE perfect spot for us to stay in mid coast Maine. They were private, near the ocean, beautifully appointed and comfortable. The houses were delightful and eagles & ospreys constantly entertained us while we were sitting on the rocks beside the water. Only suggestion is to add a guest book... so people can share their experiences & preferences with future guests. Will definitely be back!

This place is so wonderful. Visited for a week in September with group of 14 and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. Being right on the lake was most enjoyable.

OTWIM COMMENTS TO THIS SURVEY (below) 3/20/15 - The garage on the property has been rebuilt over the winter of 2014/15 and is no longer an "eyesore" on the property. All toilets have been replaced. The lock has been changed out to a modern electronic lock. More lighting has been added. GUEST COMMENTS FROM 9/24/14 - Garage collapsing in on property was an abomination and an embarrassment ! The plumbing (toilets) was constant problem. The faulty key was a constant harassment . Lights in two of three bedrooms were inadequate. Lights in living room were corrected when we complained. On the positive side, the house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. With a few adjustments (removing the falling in garage) this would be a great rental.
