Loons Nest - Beautiful and quaint cottage with excellent views of the harbor. The cottage provides all the conforts of home including an outdoor grill and outdoor shower. The outdoor shower is awesome! The front screened in porch and side patio are also nice features to read/ sun or just congregate for pleasant conversation/cocktail hours.

On the Water in Maine was extremely easy to work with. They even called on the day we checked in to let us know we could get in the property earlier than expected and to give us very detailed directions as it was a little challenging to find.

The cottage we rented was exactly what we were looking for; a small, tucked away place on a lake where we could have direct lake access and be in peace. It was awesome.

Very helpful and accommodating. Made sure our stay was stress free and enjoyable.

The house, yard and beach exceeded our expectations. The house was extremely well appointed -- great comfortable furniture and everything was very clean!!! We loved sitting on the deck and collecting sea glass on the beach. We enjoyed the screened in room in the evenings after dinner. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. It was a beautiful house to relax and plenty of room for everyone.

I have used On the Water in Maine on three occasions now and have never been disappointed. I am a dog lover and to find a very nice vacation home that allows you to bring your best frineds is nearly impossible. On the Water in Maine has always helped us find the perfect place.

The view was wonderful and the privacy was just what we were looking for. The house was very warm and cozy and we loved spending the week there.

On the Water in Maine went above and beyond in accommodating our requests and made the entire rental process easy. Inquiries were promptly addressed, and everyone was helpful and friendly.

Spectacular views and luxury accommodations helped make a most memorable vacation. The living space makes one feel connected to the water and the beach. Beach access and proximity to the channel islands are perfect for building sandcastles on the beach or exploring nearby islands on kayak. Our little boys enjoyed daily hermit crab hunting, making s'mores by the beach fire, and painting outside. Everyone in our family enjoyed their stay!

We found this property by searching online. The information that they give is very clear and helpful. It was a pleasure speaking with On the Water in Maine over the phone and upon check in it was nice to know that I could call them to answer any questions I had about the surrounding area.

The property was exactly as described. It was a beautiful quiet spot right on the ocean. We went with another couple and it was perfect for us to each have some private space.

The Folks at "On The Water in Maine" address every concern or need you have immediately and in a friendly and efficient manner and you can always get a friendly voice on the phone to answer your questions,even weekends,which we really appreciate. We have been in 3 On the Water in Maine properties for 4 years running now and have not one complaint about Anything ! They are wonderful to deal with and we wouldnt go anywhere else or deal with anyone else for our summer vacations in Maine.

This is the fourth season weve stayed here.Love the location, walk to The Harbor. This year they added Air Cond. which you definitely need sometimes in summer now. View of the Harbor, Porch to enjoy Your Coffee on cool mornings. Immaculate and well appointed.

We'd like to thank Meg in particular for her great skills in handling the internet problems we had. She was both very quick and competent and all in a really friendly manner. Thanks for that. Otherwise, we found the arrival and departure procedures all very clear and had no problems whatsoever.

We stayed at the property for seven days and really wished we could have stayed for longer. It is hard to capture the beauty of the place with photos. When we first arrived there we were awestruck. We loved the open plan living area and its personal character. The deck was beautiful and the view overwhelming, sitting out there in the morning with a coffee is more than a perfect start to any day. The evenings were just as picturesque, watching the sailing boats catch the last rays of sun and listening to the sound of the trees blowing in the wind while grilling on the deck. The back garden is a paradise for kids to run around and play during the day without being too exposed to the sun. During high tide you can go for a refreshing dip/swim in the ocean directly from the property. Although the shoreline is stoney you can easily let yourself glide in. We highly recommend the property and would love to return in the nearer future.

Strong points: 1. Property is high quality, very peaceful, and location on the water is great. 2. Lots of space in the garden and direct access to the beach. 3. Beds are of excellent quality - which is important, and rare, in rental properties. 4. General fit-out is of high quality. High points: 1. Silverware and kitchen knives were of very poor quality, and out of keeping with the rest of the (high quality) property. (Comment from OTWIM - The Owner was presented with this information and has attended to it)

Everything was handled efficiently and professionally. One of the best rental experiences we have had.

This is a very charming house in a great location near Port Clyde. The view of the harbor from the porch in the evening is wonderful.

On the Water in Maine was excellent to deal with. They were efficient, organized and friendly. Communication during the entire rental, from first contact to check-out was fantastic!

The cottage was bright and airy with lots of ocean breezes. The wide front porch was wonderful! It had a gate and was a great place for our toddler grandchildren to play while we enjoyed watching the activity in the harbor. We appreciated that we could walk down the steps to the dock, especially when a couple of us rented a kayak for the day and tied it up there. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Everything went without a hitch as always.

Captain's Cottage is a charming small cottage just up the hill from the main part of town. It perfectly suited our needs for the week.
