We had a great experience working with On the Water in Maine. Our questions and concerns were answered honestly and always in a timely manner. The professionalism of everyone I spoke to was impressive and helpful.

Magical comes to mind when we arrived at Becalmed. I was traveling with my immediate family, mother, stepfather, sister, brother-in-law and 8 year old niece. We felt at home immediately and were so excited to finally be in Maine on the lake.

They answered each of my laborious questions quickly helped me with the information I needed.

We appreciated the incredible attention to detail for all the things that we would possibly need during our stay. At the same time the house was not cluttered with knick knacks, making it effortless for us to move in with our belongings. The aesthetic sensibilities of the interior of the house was also noted and admired.

On the Water in Maine is seriously the only way to vacation. Courteous, responsive and they really go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is perfect.

As a return customer we can't say enough great things about this property! A secluded oasis with breathtaking water views that is only a 10 minute drive to town! The expansive windows allow you to take in the water from every view but the screened in porch is by far our favorite part!

As always, ONTWM handled everything professionally, thoroughly and conveniently. Always a pleasure to rent from Justin and Tiffany.

Chestnut Cottage was all updated with some elements of the old house evident; such as the door bell, light switches, and of course the steep stairs! The updated suite over the garage was large and comfortable and afforded some quiet time for us grandparents.

This agency was terrific with regard to communication prior to as well as during our stay. I would definitely seek other rentals from this agency in the future.

We absolutely loved everything about this property. The house was situated in a quiet location on the back bay with gorgeous views of herons and Osprey diving for food. And the Boothbay area in itself was beautiful with many preserves and an amazing Botanical Gardens. A couple of highlights of our trip was taking a boat ride from the Botanical Gardens into the bay on a guided tour with boat captain Shawn and visiting the Alpaca Farm in South Port. In general this area was so friendly to travelers....thank you for the wonderful vacation experience!

Three generations of our family visited Lake Megunticook to celebrate several milestone birthdays. We had a fabulous week enjoying the home we rented, the flora and fauna of the lake and all the water activities, hiking nearby, the surrounding towns for excellent food, shopping, antiquing, crafts and fun experiences together. The house was perfect for us with ample space, perfect amenities and a warm, cozy environment for us to make lasting memories. We look forward to returning to Maine again!

Beautiful house and furnishings. Perfect for a real laid back vacation. Beautiful grounds. The only down side was we could not figure out the tide schedule for kayaking. We were not able to use the water feature of this property.

Everyone was very responsive at every stage of planning. A minor question about the grill was instantly dealt with by staff.

This is a beautiful, spacious, and quite luxurious home. The master bedroom suite is absolutely gorgeous. The location is perfect. I especially appreciated the very well-equipped and beautifully organized kitchen. Although it sounds like a small thing, I noted that there were tissues and waste paper baskets in every room - a little thing, but indicative of great attention to detail. Only concerns: the WiFi seemed a bit "spotty" at times; the other bedrooms are rather small and a bit confined due to the number of items of furniture in them.

Great location, for starters. Bayside is a family-centric village; our daughter had no problem finding friends. Northport is close to Belfast, Camden, Lockport, and Rockland. We drove to one or the other, every day, to buy fresh oysters (we had oysters from the Weskeag River, Pemaquid, John's River, etc.... half the fun is tasting them, to see what the differences are!), fish, or lobster. The house itself, AC Hopkins, is gorgeous: it has tasteful artwork by the owner, comfortable furnishings, and a well-equipped (best we've seen yet, and we're foodies) kitchen. We loved the layout of the first floor, and, as a bonus, we could see both the playground and the water from the deck.

On the Water in Maine Inc. has always been a pleasure to deal with. Their staff is very professional and attentive to details. There was an issue with the grill being locked away. Within an hour of calling the office, we had our grill!

This was our second time staying at Head of the Harbor. We really like the open floor plan as well as all of the windows offering a view of the harbor and town.

This property is ideal for sunrise. There are unobstructed views of the sun from the deck with a beautiful pink and orange sky. The property is quite large, with three living spaces (one on each floor), three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a good size kitchen. The kitchen is also well equipped with little gadgets not found at some other properties. The lawn isn't so idea for sunbathing or running around as it is for meandering, it's quite sloped and the large side is out front. The flowers are lovely though and the fire pit is nice. The house floor plan is a bit odd, with lots of doors since you go around and around in a circle on both floors. The disorientation fades though. I imagine they will work on the sulphur taste of the water, but if not bottled is suggested. Also the yard doesn't have lounge chairs so bringing those would be suggested.

Great location, close to hiking trails and downtown. Wonderful kitchen and family area with a very relaxing front porch. Great house and location to explore the area.

On the Water in Maine was a great rental company to work with. They were always helpful and friendly on the phone prior to our vacation as we made our arrangements. During our stay we had one minor request that was not urgent at all, yet they immediately came out to take care of the issue. We would highly recommend On the Water in Maine.

We absolutely loved our stay at Marshall Point Cottage. The cottage was exactly what we were expecting. The location was perfect and we loved the rustic, simple cottage style. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. The porch was our favorite part and we loved enjoying our morning coffee overlooking the harbor. It was nice to be able to walk to the village for breakfast or ice cream and we also enjoyed our walks to the lighthouse.

Very professional and lots of good communication. We seriously intend to use your company again for next year's vacation.

We had a fantastic time!!! We loved the quaint cabin and so enjoyed all the little things provided. We have zero complaints. We had a blast at the beach and loved the fire pit.
