The On the Water staff was friendly and efficient which made for a worry free relaxing vacation.

The Deep Cove rental property was spotless and well equipped which made for a pleasant stay. We have been renting on the coast of Maine for over 25 years - Deep Cove Cottages is at the top of the list for location and quality. We hope to return next year.

On the Water in Maine was always available and professional. Appreciated the info and maps of the local stores and attractions. A bit pricey but I can understand the care that goes into the rental process.

all 10 of us were very impressed with the gorgeous house and the incredible location. it was beyond our expectations-very beautiful and comfortable.By the third day we knew exactly when to have our cameras ready to film another unique, and perfect sunset at sunset cottage.

We have rented with you for several years in a row and most of our children and their families love it as do we. The views at Camden Casa are lovely and so relaxing as is listening to the waves and changing tides, watching all the sail and lobster boats and the water fowl and ospreys. The house is very comfortable and has everything we needed.

Very nice vacation home - good size and features for a family.

This was our second summer staying at the Bar Island home, and it was just as wonderful this year as it was the first. It's peaceful, beautiful, and gorgeously designed.

We were very well informed of expectations during the rental process, check in and check out procedures, and for during our stay. One aspect of the Guest's binder that our family found to be particularly useful was the "On the Water in Maine" owner's suggested itinerary for a week in Maine. We took advantage of several of his suggestions, including an awesome hike up the Bald Rock trail.

North Cottage exceeded our expectations in terms of beauty, space, and decor. We felt at home right away and were amazed by the incredible views seen through the numerous, large windows.

We did everything online but the check-in and check-out which is done by phone. Everything worked like clock work. Emails came out letting you know that payments were coming up and we got the directions exactly when they said they would.

You can't beat the porch at Harmony Cottage. We sat out there every day just enjoying the view and the nice breeze. We even got to watch a boat pull up their lobster traps. I've only been in one other vacation rental in my life and I am happy to say that the amenities at the cottage surpassed our expectations. Plenty of utensils, plates, towels, etc. They have a washer and dryer but also a clothes line which was nice. The owners even had a really nice binder put together with things to do. Northport is a great area. You can choose to lounge around and enjoy the weather or take a quick trip to Belfast or Camden to find things to do.

Beautiful setting, great view! The house was basically clean & fully equipped. We were very comfortable in the house & our 2 grandchildren had a wonderful time on the water.

Rip's View in East Boothbay is a lovely well maintained cottage. There was plenty of room for our party of 7 and we enjoyed our stay very much!

Everything was convenient. I had asked if kayaks were available on the property and the woman on the phone said no. We brought our 12 ft kayak on the back of our truck and it stuck out a few feet making it difficult to stop anywhere such as Portland and driving through Boston was a bit hairy. the cottage had several kayaks and a canoe available so we didn't need to bring our kayak after all. Other than that we had no complaints - OTWIM Comment. The canoe and kayaks at the property are the Owners and not included with the rental.

The view of the lake from the cabin was beautiful. My husband and I slept in the boathouse which was right at the waters edge. It was so peaceful with nothing but the sound of the water and loons. We enjoyed kayaking fishing and swimming on the lake. The cottage had a great rustic feel but was clean, well maintained with nice furniture and artwork. It had everything we needed. We went to Belfast and found a few interesting shops and good restaurants. We liked that the area wasn't too crowded or touristy.

Wonderful, relaxed family home with access to water at house! Kids did lots of fishing off the dock. So nice to have the water available for use after a day of exploring the area!

Loved the house and the location. Felt as if we were back in old Maine. Watching the lobster boats coming and going from the porch swing was idyllic.

Very satisfactory arrangements. Easy check in and out, professional cleaning helpful--one doesn't have to carefully clean after oneself.

Comfortable, well-equipped house, two-level (ground floor-first floor). Access to Crockett's beach is a great feature, and there is view of the sea from living-room, front deck, and the bedroom upstairs. Fans worked well, but A/C goes regularly out of function, seemingly out of its own vibrations, and needs to be delicately repositioned to get back into working order--often one just gives up. Better A/C is needed. - OTWIM Comment 8/1/16 - Noted - Requesting a new one from the Owner.

Loved the back porch and the dock. The water entrance was gradual and good for the kids in our group. The overall feel of the property was dry homey and welcoming.

We have rented vacation houses in other parts of the world for many years, but there is NO other agency we know that works this hard or so successfully to make sure the rental experience is seamless, efficient and happy.

The location of Rough House is unparalleled! It has two wonderful terraces on either side that provide incredible views sweeping downhill over a gorgeous hayfield. In addition to the nearby water, western views also include breathtaking sunsets over the hills and mountains behind Rockport. This house is cozy and warm on a rainy day but thanks to it's abundant windows, catches the breeze to stay cool even in a heatwave. Perfect in every way.

It was seamless and effortless.

Love the outside deck with hanging lights and screened in porch for evenings.
