Perfect setting with the water steps away, the mountain across the pond, and the forest all around. A truly lovely spot to relax and savor the scenery and quiet.

On the Water in Maine is tremendously well organized and a joy to work with. All details are covered full, so there is no need ever to call the office to find out what to do.

My favorite feature is sitting on the porch looking at all the boat traffic and the glorious view. During our stay, we had a full moon leaving a reflective trail over the water - just spectacular! On an administrative level, as a renter and as a cook, I really appreciate the extraordinarily well equipped kitchen, which has just about any pan or implement one could wish for.

The lake was awesome and the porches were fantastic!

They made the process very simple.

Camden downtown area, all the local towns: especially Belfast. The beautiful spacious property so close to downtown.

The views at Candys Cove are beautiful! The house accommodated our friends very well! The kitchen is well equipped.

Very thorough and helpful

The view is absolutely spectacular, from the living room, bedroom or deck. The little rocky beach is just a short walk around the corner where you can swim, launch a kayak or sit sit on the beach. The living room was very comfortable and the kitchen is spacious with modern appliances. Both bedrooms have attached walk in closets so it was easy to store suitcases out of the way and feel at home.

Justin was very helpful with boat rental and worked around our arrival schedule. He knows the lake well and can answer any question you might have. We will use them again and recommend their agency to family and friends. The entire rental experience was easy as they stay in touch from your first contact until you leave.

The house was very well maintained and has all youneed for a relaxing vacation. We lived in Camden for 35 years and wanted to show Maine to our grandchildren. This location was perfect for in town trips or lake fun. Coffee in the morning with the lake waterfront and smell of the pines can't be beat. This house is perfect for families children and creating memories

Working with On the Water was easy and efficient. I enjoyed getting email updates as the dates of our rental approached.

I loved the location of this property particularly sitting on the deck and looking at the beautiful Rockport harbor. It is an easy walk to Rockport village and the 2 restaurants and galleries.

What's there to say? Everything goes smoothly and we have an email from you whenever we might need it.

Rough House is perfect for us. The right size for 2 people with 2 big dogs and an occasional human guest. The layout of the house is wonderful, and it feels much larger than it is because of the peaked ceilings. And of course the location; that's what we really love about it. Exceptional privacy and quiet that's been kept that way throughout a couple of hundred years of development, elsewhere.

We had a couple of burned out light bulbs and you quickly came and took care of the issue.

Very comfortable house and perfect for our family reunion. Walking distance to the harbor was very important as we had our boat at a slip ready for day sailing.

The staff at On the Water in Maine was very easy to work with. They were helpful and provided timely information and feedback throughout the rental process.

We found the property to be very spacious and well laid out for an extended family gathering. The kitchen was ideal for cooking and socializing as a family.

The property and view were lovely and accommodating. Close to downtown Lincolnville and Camden. Amazing water views! Rocky beach below not very usable however. Having the pool on site was a redeeming quality and the sandy beach downtown was a short walk down the driveway.

Fantastic location!! 10 minutes from Rockland, but you feel like you're in your own oasis.

Communication through email was very good and helpful. When I had questions, I emailed and got a response within hours.

Was very convenient to Port Clyde docks and general store. The store had almost anything you could need. The house was charming, especially the front porch. The cable tv and WiFi were great. The weather was little on the hot and humid side while we were there so was a bit uncomfortable.

This was a second year renting with On the Water in Maine, and it was a great experience. They are very helpful from start to finish ... they had property recommendations for us when we began our house search and were wonderfully helpful when it came to making slight shifts with our stay. We would recommend them to anyone looking for summer rentals in Maine!

We absolutely loved our stay this week at Water's Edge! The house was wonderful! Our favorite part was the location ... this was our first time renting in Owls Head, which we thought we were interested in, and now know we have found our favorite spot in Maine. The location of Water's Edge was perfect - in Owls Head, so quiet and on a small private beach, but only 5 minutes from Rockland for restaurants and shopping. The views were spectacular, and our kids (and dog) loved early mornings on the beach collecting shells and rocks.
