Met Justin who was polite and helpful.

We have rented houses in various states of the US and in Europe and this is one of the best. The views of the harbour are enchanting and we sat there for hours watching the boats come in and out, including a number of tall ships. All of the facilities inside and out are of the highest quality. The house is in easy reach of Rockland centre and also the beaches around Owls Head. Garden and deck were great and the inside was unbelievably comfortable. There are many great things about Summer Wind. Not quite a facility of the property but Jess's fish store just up the road is a palace of delights.

Highly enjoyable and very impressed with the house and the way everything was handled by On the Water in Maine.

This is our 4th year of renting a vacation home with On the Water in Maine (and 2nd year at Bayberry Cottage). Everyone at your office is very friendly and accommodating. Just when we already thought you were the best at what you do, you top it. Delivering my husbands prescription medicine packages after we forgot that home to us at the house after we had sent to your office seemed like an easy thing, until we later learned that your office is over a 1/2 hour from the Bayberry Cottage. You delivered them as if it was an easy thing to do - and free of charge. Kudos to you!

This was our 2nd year at the Bayberry Cottage - next year will be our 3rd! We've stayed in a lot of vacation homes around the world - and Bayberry Cottage has fit us the best. We love the well equipped "cooks kitchen", the deck off the back of the house, the new patio area down by the dock - and even just sitting on the dock itself. The welcoming furnishings that include a mix of antiques and Pottery Barn flare are just as I would furnish the house if it were ours. We especially love kayaking trips from the dock. Next summer, we may rent a power boat to explore a little further. You are truly lucky to have such a fabulous home!

The view of the pond was our favorite feature of this house. This was a staycation for us. We required a place away from home but not to far to drive the kids to school. Waterview and wood stove were also a must - and we got that here. Great place to decompress after a busy summer of being host and hostess. We share similar tastes. Our house is also post and beam and full of sunlight. We own the Windjammer J&E Riggin which sails from Rockland on 4--6 day trips. While very stylish and attractive we found all the furniture and the mattress very uncomfortable. This a gorgeous cottage but it didn't meet our comfort needs.

Thank you for sharing your lovely, warm and beautifully decorated home with us. This was a second year for us to rent your home, and we hope to vacation there again next year. This is a perfect property for us to rent. The house is kept with loving care, and thoughfulness is displayed in all the details, from the kitchen with every cooking need meet to the reading materials. The grounds are beautiful with lovely flower beds and shrubs. The view is priceless! The addition of the air conditioners in the bedrooms was very much appreciated by us. I have asthma and sometimes it is difficult for me to sleep with the windows open. The air conditioners were a big help. The only suggestion that we would have for a change would be the addition of a second recliner or a more comfortable chair in the livingroom. But, that is just for personal reasons. My husband and I have arthritis, and the rockers are hard to relax in and the sofa is very soft and provides little support. However, all of the furniture is lovely. Your home is so organized and clean. Thank you again! Gloria and Harry

Ben was very welcoming when we arrived. We also met Meg at Cappy's on our last night who will be coming to work for "On the Water" in customer service. She is a great addition to your team. Very genuine and personable.

We had a delightful stay at the Schooner View property in Camden. The property was extremely well-maintained. It appeared that prior guests, as well as ourselves, honored your request to remove their shoes before going up the stairs. Location, location, location! View was spectacular. Easy walk to the village. Quiet and peaceful. Super comfortable beds and living room furniture (perfect for a little nap). Well-equipped kitchen. Loved the microwave of all things and the gas stove.

I don't know if it's the property itself, or On the Water in Maine, or both, but this is the second time we've stayed there and we had an excellent experience both times. We stayed at another property (different management company) in Rockport years ago, and though it worked out well overall but we had a lot of problems at the beginning. This went very smoothly. The location is wonderful... such amazing views of the water from the living room and upstairs in the bedroom. The cottage is very well maintained, nice layout, comfortable beds, updated kitchen, and very quiet.

On the Water in Maine and is always there and most friendly.

What a wonderful place in every way. We had a terrific time and would love to return. A lot of planning seems to have gone into every aspect the house to make it perfect.

Overall, you have a marvelous oceanfront rental with high-end appointments and forever views! Jaw-dropping views of ocean, evergreens and cove from every window...high-end kitchen appliances and accessories....comfy beds with lovely linens...well-maintained lawns. Please know that we loved our month in Candy's Cove Cottage and would like to return in 2 years for another month!

The kitchen is great, spacious with nice appliances - next refrigerator purchase should include one with an ice machine. All of the rooms, including the screened-in front porch, are spacious and bright with lots of windows. The big screen TV in the living area was a nice upgrade. This was a repeat visit for us - we stayed there two years ago when it was the Allen cottage.

The Camden Casa property is exceptional. I felt a wonderful spirit in that house and I loved the books! Wonderful books! They tell a lot about the history of the house. I can't come up with the favorite feature(s) of this property. It is a super place in every way really. The view could not be better (love the little island out there, we Texans loved watching the tide come and go and the ships/boats going to and from Camden Harbor), the kitchen had everything (I don't cook at home but I cooked there) including fine appliances, the Master Bedroom/Bath could not be better with its furnishings and view. The furnishings of the whole property excel any we have ever encountered and that's been a lot of places and loved the seclusion of the property. We had said this would be out last trip to Camden (this was our fifth) but I would so like to share it with a cousin and niece and their spouses. We'd have to draw for the Master Suite! And, I said somewhere that I'm sure those swivel blue chairs will wear out first. A wonderful place to enjoy the view and fall asleep. In looking for glass coasters the first evening, I came across a piece of china that I collect (Herand). It was unwrapped and upside down back in a drawer with coasters and cards. I would be interested in buying that piece ($40). I wrapped it in two paper towels and taped it really well. I couldn't stand that beautiful piece not being cared for. Enjoyed meeting Ben when he came to "fix" the TV for us. He was very nice to get it going before the Cowboy game! Camden Casa is perfect. Thelma Shiller

We had narrowed our choice of houses to two. I spoke to an OTWIM agent that knew both properties. We took his advice, based on our needs and could not have been more pleased with Water's Edge. This was our second time renting with OTWIM and we will continue to use your service for all of our Maine vacations.

You have a beautiful, comfortable home. The decor was exactly what you would expect to find in a coastal home. Thank you so much for allowing us to share it for a week. I fear if it were mine, I would never be able to leave! Our favorite feature was the location with access to beach area. Very comfortable/nicely decorated, Great views. Very convenient access to great restaurants.
