On the Water In Maine was very organized from start to finish and provided a smooth rental process for us. We needed help with a minor situation at the cottage and Justin responded immediately and it was taken care of.

Crockett Beach Cottage was the perfect location for us. We loved the privacy, having the beach steps from our front door, and the Town of Owl's Head itself. We loved being close to Owl's Head Light, Birch Point State Park, The Owl's Head Transportation Museum, The Coastal Children's Museum, Rockland and Camden.

Very helpful. There was always someone there to answer our calls.

Very quaint and cozy cottage and barn with absolutely beautiful views from the property. Very close to Boothbay and the shops and restaurants. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed reading on the front porch in the mornings. Eating Lobster cooked at Hannaford on the back deck. Ocean views from the ocean side bedroom, porch, and the living room. We loved reading, swimming, and sail boarding on the beach which was just a short distance from our cottage. We loved the wood interior with planking up to 2 feet wide in places. We enjoyed the history of our cottage.

The folks that run "On the Water" are amazingly detail oriented, and very tuned into the renters and their needs. Although we had no problems, I have no doubts that if we did, indeed, run into some kind of trouble, they would come quickly to the rescue.

The Ducktrap Cottage was a beautifully landscaped, well-equipped house nestled on a quiet road which led down to a lovely harbor. It was spotless, very quiet, and quite peaceful. It provided a very relaxing spot in which to take a vacation.

Great house, wonderful neighborhood. Avoiding the Wiscasset traffic is always nice getting to and from ones rental. Kayaking is possible from the house, but only around high tides due to the mud. It is also quite safe if you stay upriver, that is heading towards wiscasset. Lots to see and explore. It really is only missing a dock.

Rockland really is a beautiful area. We enjoyed that we could walk to most places we wanted to visit, including the Blues Festival. What a surprise to see that there were 3 en suite bathrooms -- made it very comfortable for our weekend guests. -- we would like to reserve the same week next year!

Our stay in Rip's View was perfect. The accommodations were cozy, warm, spacious, and comfortable. The property is private and yet convenient to market, restaurants, stores when needed. The riverfront is very picturesque, peaceful, and serene. The property is ideal for peaceful vacationing, yet ideal for entertaining which we did for my birthday with a wonderful Clambake/Lobster Fest prepared by friends in a traditional New England fashion including homemade blueberry cake for birthday cake! Hopefully we will be able to do a repeat trip from California same time next summer.

Every time I contacted On the Water in Maine the staff was courteous and quick to respond. Emails were usually answered the same day. Both calls we placed to On the Water in Maine during our vacation were received pleasantly and all questions were answered without hesitation. On the very first day of our vacation the doorknob on the main outside door broke off and the company sent a repair man out to fix it the very next day.

The property was great. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay - good quality cooking equipment, random supplies that we forgot (like tupperware containers and paper towels) and even a lot of toys for our 3-year-old to play with! The location couldn't have been better and the view was spectacular.

We have been working with On the Water in Maine for the last 4 vacations, and we will continue to do so, because they are so efficient. We know we will have a great experience because they take care of every detail.

It suits our 3 families , son, his wife, w girls, daughter, husband , 2 girls, and the 2 of us. The one big bedroom withe it's own bath is perfect for the girls, and the parents have a room each with a big shared bath. We have a large bedroom on first floor with walk in closet and bath. The rooms all have a great view of the lake, and it doesn't feel like work to cook in the remodeled kitchen with panoramic view.

The Port Clyde House is a fabulous place for a family vacation! Beautiful setting on a lovely small port town. Near the Monhegan Ferry. And a walk to lobster and ice cream!

I received very timely responses from the staff at On the Water in Maine. They were easy to work with.

The Little River Guest Cottage was quite charming, and the view of the pond off the back deck was sublime! While the cottage was very cute and had amazing grounds, the noise from the street was atrocious. Since there is no air-conditioning for this property, we needed to sleep with the windows open and the constant noise from Route 1 made sleep very difficult. Had I known where the cottage was located, I would not have booked it.

On the Water in Maine was very easy to work with,making booking the rental, directions to get there,and everything we needed to know before and during our stay very accessible to us.

The veiws were just as advertised-beautiful! The cottage was comfortable and very home-like with many pictures and art pieces that remind of the Maine seacoast.
