Halcyon Point provides some of the best views we have ever enjoyed since first visiting Maine many years ago. It is the perfect combination of privacy, proximity to nature, and a comfortable home that makes you feel like you really belong on Rackliff Island. Thank you for offering your property for rental. We so appreciate all your effort to keep the house and property wonderful. As owners of an historic house (c. 1790), we know all too well the pains and blood/sweat/tears it takes to keep things going. This booking was fairly easy. But at the same time I was working on this booking, I was also looking for a house for a larger group, and someone at your company was very helpful in graciously answering questions I had that were not covered by property descriptions on the website...even though I ended up renting through another agency in a different area. (Sorry, I can't remember her name. I think I may have talked to two different people at different times)Even though I didn't find the perfect property from your rentals for the larger group, it did prompt me to check with your company first when I was looking for the second rental.

To the owners of Nemo Nisi Mors, Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful property with complete strangers! Owners like you make it possible for those of us who do not own property in Maine to at least act like we do ... for one week. We very much appreciate it. Your house in Owls Head is lovely, and I especially enjoyed the fantastic sunrises every morning--while I lay in bed! All I had to do was turn my head to enjoy that great beauty. No getting up and getting dressed to sit outside to catch the sunrise. Also, you can be assured that On the Water in Maine is cleaning and maintaining your house well - they are doing a great job. As I wrote in my questionnaire after leaving the house, this is one of the few homes I've rented where I felt perfectly comfortable putting my clothes in the drawers. Everything was very clean. This property's big draw is the waterfront setting. The views are constantly changing, even more frequently than the tides. We watched the waterfowl, boats, ships, and even some unusual human activity on the water! (It appeared to be the Coast Guard setting some sort of marker or communications pole ... but we weren't at all sure of that.) The new kitchen is beautiful, too. And -- in my book, a most important feature-- the house was SO CLEAN. In thirteen years of renting frequently on the Maine coast, this is one of the few places that I felt comfortable actually putting my clothes in the dresser drawers provided. At some rental properties, I just lived out of my suitcase rather than use dirty or dusty drawers with strange smells. I also appreciated your list of property items that owners promise to supply (on your FAQ page). It may seem like a small thing, but knowing a hair dryer and iron would be available at the cottage did simply my packing. Thanks also for the note that one thing might not be available: face cloths. It alerted us to bring our own. You have a wonderful spot; thank you again for sharing it.

Beautiful cottage. Wish I could pick it up and bring it to our place in the Fingers Lakes (NY). Just love the interior and exterior of your home. My wife and the other wives kept commenting on how beautiful the place was decorated. The view from the porch will be in our minds for a life time. Enjoyed seeing the lobster fisherman, sailing boats and the small cruise ships going through the Boothbay Harbor. The Jones Cottage is the cutest place. Definitely has the feel of what you would think of as a cottage. Very comfortable for 6 people. Great shower!

Everyone at On the Water in Maine was great! Lincoln Lookout has a beautiful view, comfortable accommodations and the best equipped rental we have stayed in For a family of cooks the well equipped kitchen and new appliances were a real bonus. The owners even thought of things like nightlights, flashlights and placemats. The folks at "On the Water in Maine" made sure all our questions were answered, kept in touch and even went out of their way to inform us of a pending storm. We felt well cared for and as though we were in a well loved family vacation spot.

You have a beautiful cottage. We are four seniors (related) who travel together and rent accommodations frequently. Yours was the best equipped place we have stayed in so far. You thought of so many things we have always had to provide ourselves, like nightlights, flashlight and placemants not to mention the wonderfully outfitted kitchen and the new appliances. Heaven! We love to cook It has the atmosphere of a well loved family home. In looking at the prints on the walls and the books on the shelves we imagined a family history - the artist, the book lover, the handy man, the historian and the nature lover, whether they were all one person, various family members, or never actually existed. Thanks for a lovely, relaxing and thought provoking holiday. Everyone I spoke to at On the Water in Maine was kind, courteous, and helpful.

Thank you very much for renting us your wonderful house. We can tell you've put a lot of good energy into it. We had a great time and hope to come back soon! The location, size, and layout of the home were perfect. Great amenities and upkeep! We could tell the owner put a lot of quality work and love into the home and this made us feel very warm, welcome, and lucky to be staying there. The deep tub was a favorite for the kids - and the washer/dryer in this same space made for a perfect end-of-day bath/laundry debriefing... literally, de-BRIEF-ing! ^__^ I was happy to see NO CABLE TV - It prevented my father-in-law from vegetating too much! The board games and movies were very appreciated - especially on a rainy day. Me and my boys much-enjoyed a game of Monopoly for Kids. It was a PERFECT base of operations for all we enjoy doing in the region!

A very positive experience-no complaints. On an extremely windy, rough water afternoon we returned from a day in Camden to find our little fishing boat that we rented from On the Water in Maine flooding with water. Ben arrived about 5 minutes after our call to bail out the boat. Thank you!

Whoever designed your little house-they truly did an excellent job-love the stone floors especially! The view The view The view!!! Best lakeview ever because of all of the glass facing the lake. We also noted all of the attention to quality detail in every single room-everywhere you looked it was a perfect lakefront vacation home.

We loved the house. Sitting on the porch drinking coffee and watching the sun rise was our favorite thing.

Emily was the only one we had contact with at On the Water in Maine and she was Excellent!! She could not have been more friendly or more helpful.

Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful home. It was immaculate, beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly needs. We spent a wonderful week with our son Danny our daughter-in-law Raleigh and her parents Diane and Dana Onks. Rushing Tides is BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN & SPOTLESS! We especially loved that each bedroom have their own private bathroom. The open concept in the living area with magnificent windows even over the kitchen sink were perfect. The fabulous kitchen had everything we could possibly want. The beautiful fireplace was great for taking the chill off a couple evenings and there wasn't a hint of smoke. We ate lobster every day from the North End co-op. We made lobster eggs benedict, lobster scrambled eggs, lobster nachos,(during the New England/Buffalo Bill's game) and steamed lobster with deliciouse corn on the cob and potatoes from Shaws were excellent!!! Of course we had to visit Red's Eats and Sprague's for lobster rolls,fried clams and fish & chips. The location is perfect. Boothbay Harbour and Freeport were fun and the shopping was good too. We made s'mores around the fire pit. Wonderful memories were made and we look forward to returning to beautiful Maine. This is our second year in a row at Bay Breeze, and Ben has been very nice and extremely helpful with any of our needs.

The checkin/checkout process was simple - didn't really have any other contact other than emails. The cottage was updated nicely and immaculate when we got there. Beautiful views.

Your cottage was lovely and very comfortable. The updating of the cottage was very well done.

It has been exciting to watch the Ford family grow this rental business over the years we have been renting from you. As far as 93 Chestnut Street - The charm of the house that combines the old with the updated decor is our favorite feature. Lots of space for our family and dog friendly! We also enjoy the privacy of the neighborhood yet within walking distance to Camden and Laite Beach.
