Sunfish Cottage is the perfect size for 4-6 people. We love the new furniture and beds, everything was so comfortable. Never slept so well away from home. We found everything we needed in the kitchen.

On the Water in Maine agency is wonderful to deal with. Very professional and honest. Everything is as they advertised and more. Stopped in the office for info and they were great! Would deal with them again and would recommend to anyone.

Our experience with Sea Cliff Cottage was wonderful-for the most part. The house is beautiful, the view is spectacular, both morning and evening on the middle deck.

I left almost half of my clothing for a three week vacation at a B&B in Pennsylvania on my way to Maine. They mailed my package to On the Water in Maine. The package had not arrived on Monday morning when I checked with them, but when I exited the Farnsworth Museum there was a message for me on my phone. The clothes I had been without for one week had arrived at the office, and they were on their way to deliver them. When I arrived at Juniper Bank my clothes were just inside the door. What a relief and what service from the team at On the Water.

On the Water In Maine was excellent. They communicated very clearly everything we needed to do, also tried to anticipate & answer all our questions before our trip. During our vacation their staff was available to answer questions & take care of problems that arose. We could not have asked for better service.

Ledgelawn was perfect for our family reunion. Plenty of space to accommodate our big group. The view from the fabulous porch is magnificent including beautiful sunsets. We also loved fishing off the dock, kayaking in the inlet, swimming in the pool and the peace & tranquility of the whole setting.

The house was simple yet beautiful in its design. Very down to earth and fitting to the Maine coast. Comfortable furniture, lots of windows to catch the breeze, landscaping was simple and pretty. I felt like I lived in that house all my life.

On the Water in Maine was very easy and pleasant to work with. They were attentive to our needs, responded immediately to questions and kept us informed via email of severe weather alerts as well as traffic issues. The process they use for checking in and out is convenient and hassle free. They had regular email contact with us in the time preceding the rental and provided detailed information on the house and how to make the most of our stay. They are a very professional group that takes its mission seriously in providing quality properties and excellent customer service.

Juniper Bank is located in the heart of Owls Head for ultimate convenience to the mid-coast region and beyond. It has all the modern conveniences, a beautifully landscaped yard and a gorgeous view of Owls Head harbor and Penobscot Bay from the deck. Having two master suites was a plus for us and for our visitors. The basement recreation room was great for teenagers to have a space of their own. This is a very nice rental property with lots to recommend it.

Your agency is very thorough and organized. Our rental experience was very positive. You responded to all of our questions very promptly.

The Cann's Beach house is in a beautiful location with gorgeous views of the ocean. There was plenty of room for our family (8 people) ranging in age from 85 years young to 16 years. We enjoyed kayaking and tried out a paddle board for the first time. It was nice having the beds made up when we arrived, and the kitchen was fully equipped for preparing meals. We had a wonderful vacation and were sad to leave.

On The Water is the best rental agency with which I have ever worked. Last spring I had rented a different house and was waiting for summer to come so that we could come up and enjoy it. OTW called, completely on their own initiative, to say they had remembered that in one of our conversations we mentioned three small children. The house we had rented sits on top of a cliff with fairly steep stairs down to a rocky beach.(Seacliffe). OTW had their staff doublecheck and determined that this property wouldn't be good for small children. A check of their other available properties revealed Beachcomber.

My family (3 couples and 3 children) has thoroughly enjoyed this vacation. We had rented two kayaks and kept them on the beach all week. A beautiful sandy beach with tidal pools is a five-minute kayak ride away. The house is perched on a little hill so we have spectacular views of Casco Bay from every room. The house itself was clean with new, comfortable furniture. The kitchen was well-equipped and sheets and towels were ready in every room. The house is big enough that when someone needed some privacy it was readily available. My only complaint is that there is not a table big enough to seat all of us for dinner. My favorite time of the day was watching the sun rise over the water every morning directly in front of us.

It is a great company to work with you guys are so efficient!

The people at Water on Maine were very friendly and helpful. I booked the property at the last minutes and they reacted very fast to make everything work smoothly and efficiently.

Weloved the property. It was so roomy and bright for a 1 bedroom cottage. The kitchen and view is amazing.

We really like staying at the Luv Cottage. It has a great location...right up from the pier. We really like the screened in porch. It's really nice to sit out there rain or shine....and no mosquitos! We also really like the new mud room area.

Working with On the Water in Maine was fast and easy. Most everything was automated and I never needed to follow-up on anything. On the Water in Maine provided reminders when things were due and detailed instructions for everything I needed including directions to the property. On the Water in Maine was recommended to me by a relative and I have already recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

LedgeLawn greatly exceeded our expectations. It is much larger than expected. Our group consisted of 4 families and each had their own bathroom. Each day began with coffee on the large outside deck where we talked for hours. Each evening ended the with drinks and appetizers. The kids spent hours in the pool while the adult men spent time fishing off the dock. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals including a 27 lobster dinner late in the week. I can't say enough positive things about this property.

On the Water in Maine was a great agency to work with; very prompt communications.

Location was absolutely perfect--loved the little town, and close to many locations to drive on daytrips. Main room was perfect with all its windows; so relaxing especially with no television to detract from nature, water,and boats! Downstairs TV room was perfect for the kids, and for family movie nights. Just four of us stayed here, so didn't need the loft bedroom or downstairs bunks, but we all keep talking about how it was perfect for us and we can't wait to go back!

On The Water has perfected their recipe for success. One can tell that they have looked at their business model from every angle and I am sure are focused on Continued-Process-Improvement, which from a customer's perspective, everyone wins! The level of communication is key, from the pre and post rental emails as well as the detailed renters guidebook available at the property. This guidebook includes helpful information about the home, suggested things to do - day by day, restaurants, galleries etc. and for the new kids in town, how to cook and eat a lobster! On The Water has insightful knowledge of Maine in general and the wisdom to translate it's beauty and the beauty of their properties to their customers ensuring a memorable vacation.

The cottage was a shear delight! The setting could not be any more picturesque with a panoramic view of the gorgeous Maine coastline from almost every window. The cottage/home is tastefully decorated with a relaxing color pallet, clean lines and lovely appointments producing a very restful ambience. A charming place to call home for a week with little adjustment from your everyday conveniences to a "cottage". You may only have to remember to turn left rather than right to pick up your lobster pot, locate the wine opener or reach for a martini glass! There was also an unexpected surprise, the back upper deck was to be "unavailable" during the 2014 season due to renovations. That was not a problem as On The Water ensured that the work would not be done during the customer rental season. When we walked up the stairs, we noted french doors to the left which opened up to a beautiful library/sitting room with still more views of the sea. This room is another extension of the tasteful decor and encouragement to sit back and enjoy the view! Owls Head is a hidden treasure and I believe that renting anywhere in this area, through On The Water, would be a guaranteed success!
