The checkin/checkout process was simple - didn't really have any other contact other than emails. The cottage was updated nicely and immaculate when we got there. Beautiful views.

As far as 93 Chestnut Street - The charm of the house that combines the old with the updated decor is our favorite feature. Lots of space for our family and dog friendly! We also enjoy the privacy of the neighborhood yet within walking distance to Camden and Laite Beach.

What a lovely home you have..everything was perfect....we left a day early so we can spend some time with our son in New Hampshire. Everthing you can think of was there for us. Loved every minute we had there..

Bruce was very helpful. He gave me great tips on buying local lobster and boat guide(even if my friend refused to listen to the guide recommendation). He was also considerate and called to see if it was OK if Orkin came before sending them over. His local knowledge definitely enhanced my stay.

I wrote a note in the guest book but I loved my two weeks, and loved the house and your sharing what is clearly your family vacation tradition with outsiders. Thanks again.

Everyone at the On the Water in Maine was very helpful even to explaining Wi-Fi since I'm new at that. And the patience you showed after Mom had a heart attack & we were not sure if we could make it. And it all worked out, thank goodness!

Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your lovely house, we want to return next year for sure! The best feature of Marshall Point Cottage is the relatively secluded location and the lovely view from the large covered porch overlooking the harbor. It was also within walking distance to the Marshall Point Lighthouse, and to the town of Port Clyde.

Ben at On the Water in Maine was awesome!

The back porch (which is really FRONT in my heart) was my favorite feature. The view of the water and boats, the soft lapping of the water simply captured my heart. Many a 'cup of coffee' were savored there last week. I have stayed in many cottages, but this was by far my favorite! Technically, the only thing I would add would possibly be a small toilet downstairs. Also I would remove half of the wall in the kitchen (where the stove is) and open up that area to the room by the front door. Then a simple eating bar could be erected, making use of the little used front room. FABULOUS place truly! I hope we can stay there again! :)

On the Water in Maine staff were fast, helpful, efficient, and non-defensive (most important). They seemed to be well-trained and focused on us our enjoying the vacation.

We loved the direct view of the ocean, lobster boats on the little harbor, the sun, sky, clouds. The sunrise over the ocean at 5 AM. The fog obscuring the ocean one morning. The closeness to Rockland. And the house itself was modern, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Maine needs no reason to visit! It is just heaven. I only wish I lived closer!
