Everyone has always been very accommodating and helpful. When our coffee pot quit working a new one was delivered within a few hours. They allowed me to drop off luggage and food before the check in time when we departed our other rental.

Camden Casa has been a perfect place for us to get out of Texas and enjoy all the beauty Maine has to offer. We have returned several years and stayed several weeks as have our daughters' families with our grandchildren. The deck outside is perfect for small children and we love the views and the access to the beach and rocks. The newly added granite steps to the shore line are very helpful. The dcor is lovely and homey feeling and the appliances work well. We plan on returning next summer.

Everything went smoothly and as described.

We had a wonderful week at the Rough House. The cottage feels much larger than its square footage, is well lit, has excellent cross ventilation, and overall is very comfortable. The location is ideal for long walks or a short drive into Rockport and Camden. And the peaceful setting was fabulous.

The On the Water staff was professional and thorough. It was a pleasure talking with them.

My family loved Woodland Lodge and the Bayside community. Our accommodations were charming and full of character. The house was expertly decorated and made us feel right at home. The kitchen was well stocked. And the gardens surrounding the house were beautiful. The only drawback was poor to no Wi-Fi service. Otherwise, Woodland Lodge is the perfect 10!

On the Water in Maine was a pleasure to work with, issues were addressed quickly and professionally.

Loon Call Cottage had everything we needed for a great escape. The house was well-stocked and the setting is magnificent. We especially loved the kayaks and canoe that came with the house.

It's always easy working with your group but this summer I had no need to even call you once as everything was in order.

As always we loved griffin cottage. It has become a home away from home for two weeks each summer. Unfortunately because of a physical problem with my husband he could only stay one week but our son and wife came some of the time.

For the most part it was a good experience. Nikki in particular was very helpful. Also We have rented houses in Maine for 11 years and not experienced the inflexibility of the 4:00 check-in. Essentially you rent for six days, not seven. Otherwise the agency experience was fine.

We loved the house. Every need was anticipated and met. We particularly loved the large collection of books which sometimes interfered with our plans to head to the lake. The furniture was comfortable, the showers hot and there were lots of places to hang out. The lake was the star but the house came in a close second.

Choosing and booking the property went swimmingly, as did checking in. Our rental period was for 30 days, and we only had to contact On the Water twice and - by happenstance - both on the same day.

The property was perfect, and just what we wanted. It is comfortable and well appointed, beautifully and simply decorated and ideal for our family of four. It was well represented by On the Water, and I think was even better in person than the pictures. It was clean and welcoming when we arrived. I think the best feature were the beautiful views and large windows to enjoy them, as well as the large backyard that leads down to the water, and lovely deck with grill. The house is also well situated in Owls Head - it's a ten minute walk to the Owls Head lighthouse, or a short walk to the general store which offers great breakfast and lunch. It's also convenient to nearby towns like Rockland, Rockport and Camden, and its midcoast location makes it an easy drive to Portland and Boothbay or up to Bar Harbor or Bangor. We definitely recommend this place - and think it could probably accommodate up to six quite comfortably.

I have used vacation rentals many times and in several countries. On The Water in Maine is the most well-managed and detail-oriented agency I have used. They were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Bayberry Cottage is an amazing property in a beautiful setting. Everything we could ever need for a perfect vacation was provided. The comfortable furnishings, beautiful decor and obvious love the owner puts into the cottage made our stay perfect.

This property had some of the most stunning views - meals and reading on the porch were just magical while watching the tides come in and out on Highins Beach. Just wonderful. And that's not even mentioning the grounds and Strawberry Beach - a private and beautiful place. Magic.

On the water were very professional and pleasant to deal with and gave us lots of information ahead of our stay. The whole booking process was simple and easy. We would definitely recommend.

We rented Blue Heron Cottage for a week in July 2017 and the whole family thought it was absolutely amazing. The views from the deck were spectacular and the house itself had everything we needed. The setting was one of the most idyllic imaginable. We couldn't be happier.

The Periwinkle Cottage is a well equipped, peaceful and enjoyable place to experience a relaxing vacation in the Penobscot Bay area. The shore road is a great place to walk, and you get to see both the moon and sun rise over the water if the time is right. We really enjoyed our stay!
