The management company was friendly and helpful. When we unexpectedly rescued a dog after making our initial reservation we were guided through the process for bringing a pet along easily and efficiently.

This was a lovely cabin that was accurately portrayed in the online photos. We appreciated the multiple beds since we had four teenagers with us; they each had their own! We ate most meals at the cabin and found the cookware and appliances were quite adequate for our needs--especially the lobster pot! It was great to have a washer and dryer available. The towels and bed sheets were clean and of decent quality; the towels may have even been brand-new. Enjoyed quite a few evenings working on jigsaw puzzles we found in the home. We were pleasantly surprised to find a campfire pit on site (it had not been listed in the property description)! The property description mentioned a K Cup coffee maker, but there was not one there. It was completely acceptable that just a regular style coffee maker was present, but we would not have brought our K cups on our 12 hour drive had we known we wouldn't be able to use them. We did ask upon check-in why the floating dock was not yet installed, but we were told that the owner did not have a chance to get it in the water (we were on property June 17-24). We were told it might be put in during the week, but no one ever came to do so. This was a major disappointment for our kids. In fact, it was one of the amenities that had helped us to choose this particular property. This wooded property lot is located on the shores of a lovely, quiet pond, but we were only able to appreciate that silence for the first two days. Monday morning at 7am the construction crew showed up next door and worked every day that week. While a neighbor's renovation project is completely out of the property's owners control we would have appreciated a courtesy notification prior to our arrival disclosing this issue. We had a wonderful, relaxing week in this cozy and inviting cabin on beautiful Coleman Pond despite these issues.

As in the past, every aspect of the rental process was seamless and professional; communication consistently clear and swift.A pleasure to deal with such a helpful, responsive staff.

Water's Edge is ideally located at the end of a private lane, which is what we enjoyed most about this rental: the tranquility, views, spaciousness.

We loved the property and the house. The sun room was probably my favorite place- you could sit there and watch the fireflies twinkle, and enjoy the peace of the water while we ate breakfast in the morning.

The house suited our group of six. I liked that the sleeping quarters were separate from the living area so everyone was able to get a good nights sleep. There was also plenty of bathrooms and 2 showers to accommodate everyone.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Marshall Point Cottage. Sitting on the porch, looking out over Port Clyde harbor is hard to beat.

Schooner's View was a lovely property. The view was unbeatable and we especially enjoyed the fully-equipped kitchen. There were even birthday candles!

We enjoyed sitting on the dock at the end of the day and sharing thoughts of the day with the rest of our family members. In the morning we would sit on the dock and have coffee and discuss our plans for the day ahead. Either way, it was peaceful and even saw an eagle soar above us, a horseshoe crab in the water, a jellyfish, and other big fish jump from the water.

Everything went smoothly. On the Water in Maine is extremely organized, which is very helpful. No problems at all.

We loved staying in Driftwood Cottage. The location was ideal for day trips to other locations plus the cottage itself is in a very lovely and relaxing location.

Seaside Cottage is a favorite of ours. We stayed there while it was rented by the owners and are so pleased to return with On the Water in Maine. We love the views and the fog rolling in on the "Maine" days. As we have on many trips before we love the weather surrounding us.

Easiest and quickest reservation and contract execution I have experienced. Everyone I have dealt with at the agency is friendly and helpful. Don't want to use any other agency because the process is so easy and the availability calendar is up to the minute current so there are no disappointments later finding out something isn't actually available.

Location on calm water area with easy access to the water from the small pebble beach during high tide. Deck and water view from all areas of the house. The privacy and quiet location. Radiant floor heating and gas fireplace heater. The layout of the house is great for a couple. Clean and comfortable. Too many favorite features to list!

On the Water in Maine is always friendly, helpful, and very responsive to any issues or requests we have had. We've worked with them for four years now and have been very pleased with how we have been treated!

We love Cockcroft! The view is spectacular, and the peace and quiet the property provides is a welcome change from city life. The home is well equipped, although without air conditioning it can get stuffy when the weather turns warm. All in all, we love it!

The staff was wonderful. Calls were answered promptly and they always had a the answer.

The view was amazing. The home was private but not isolated. We wanted to get away from "big city" living and this home was a perfect location. Outside it reminded you of an old Maine home but inside was lovely and comfortable.
