We loved our stay at Lincoln Lookout, it is a comfortable and cozy home. Beautiful ocean views from main living area and the deck. The house is older but had everything we needed and the kitchen was very well stocked. Comfortable beds. A great private and quiet location but access to downtown Rockland just 15 minutes away.

Renting the property was extremely easy!

Loved the atmosphere! Back yard is beautiful.

LAKESIDE LILLY"S IS A WONDERFUL HOUSE RIGHT ON THE POND IT WAS FUN RIDING IN THE PADDLE BOAT HOUSE IS VERY CLEAN AND WELL STOCKED WITH EVERY THING YOU WOULD NEED LOVED SITTING OUT ON THE PORCH AND WATCHING THE SUNSET OVER THE POND VERY CONVENT LOCATION TO GET TO THE SURROUNDING TOWNS NICE FIRE PIT TO MAKE A FIRE AND LOOK OUT ON THE POND AREA VERY QUITE WHEN WE WHERE THEIR FOR TWO WEEKS STARTING MEMORIAL WEEKEND

Justin and team at On the Water in Maine were incredibly organized and responsive. I could not imagine a better team to rent from.

Phenomenal location and amenities. The rental had everything we could have wished for.

We love coming back to Rockcroft and have continued to do so for three years now. We were delighted to see the owners had made some improvements to the property on our May visit this year. The new floor in the bedroom looked very nice and a lot of the casement windows that were having issues as of our last stay had been fixed. It also appears that they got a new door from the bedroom to the deck. The flowers they had out this time around the property looked very nice and inviting. It looks like they may have power washed the house as well.

Emails were answered promptly. One could never say there was a lack of communication. Emails keep you informed all the way to the front door.

The waterfront location with the most extraordinary view allowed us to witness a pair of ospreys defend their nest against an eagle while lounging on the deck! Need I say more?

We have been using On the Water in Maine for many years and the predictable quality of service and offerings continue to be why we keep coming back.

We had a two and five year old and the lay out both inside and outside offered plenty of run around room. The kitchen was spacious and easy to work in and the overall setting was very peaceful. Given the weather, the radiant heating was quite comfortable.

OTWIM is always professional and accommodating. They do all the work.

The Blue Heron cottage is one of our favorites. The location is priceless, close to everything yet private. The tides lend themselves to having the ocean be in full bloom all the time. It is a perfect house for 2 people.

An efficient agency, covered all the bases to ensure needs of both the client and the owner. The check in process was a bit frustrating as we were never able to make a successful phone call into the agency from the owner's phone, only our cell phone. Discovering this involved at least 7 calls before we connected appropriately. We were tired, hungry and ready to unpack the car instead of making repeated phone calls. OTWIM RESPONSE: Sorry for the challenges you had reaching us. We believe it's important for the protection of the Property to know when a Guest has arrived and taken possession of it. 99% of the time, Guests have no trouble reaching us - but if your cell service is poor - as it can be in Lincolnville - it can be troublesome.

Favorite features about the Duck Trap Cottage: lovely, quiet charming cottage, excellent location for access to the coast and the entire state. Sunroom gave me a perfect place to work on my art with wonderful light and breathtaking water views and the surrounding yard.

Working with On the Water in Maine and staff is always a pleasure - they are friendly, responsive and efficient and by the time that we finished the process, all questions have been answered. Additionally, the various emails are clear. As a result, we have encountered no "surprises" about the rental.

The house was very comfortable, with an excellent location in Camden - very close to the library and less than a ten-minute walk to the major shops and a number of restaurants downtown.

Stayed a week at this stunning, well-appointed property with beautiful views of the Penobscot Bay, light houses, and the golf course of Samoset Resort where we had easy access to the bar; often enjoying an evening drink by the fire pit. The kitchen was well-equipped for every meal I prepared and the huge flat screen in the living area was great, offering movies and countless options for entertainment. New mattresses afforded blissful sleeping and the home provided quiet privacy. The location was in short proximity of Camden where we enjoyed many outings. All things considered, this vacation home exceeded my expectations and we cannot wait to return!

We spent a week at this property and fell in love with it. It would be very hard to beat the view! We are not new to vacationing along Maine's coast. This property we will return to. It was very clean, the kitchen had wonderful tableware (unusual for a rental) and all the pots and pan we needed... as when we arrived... we did not want to leave, thus we did much cooking. Great location for day trips to the very quaint towns, the shops in Freeport and lighthouses (love Cape Elizabeth and Portland Head Light). It is so unusual to have a sandy beach (did not use it much this trip) but it would be awesome during a warmer time of the year.

From booking to checking out it was a pleasure to work with On the Water in Maine. The staff was very knowledgeable, easy to work with and reliable.

Property was exactly as expected, very clean and comfortable with gorgeous 'bold ocean' views.
