Everything was wonderful.Love the back porch and view. Our two weeks was pure bliss. My family from Georgia were so pleased with the cottage and location.

Probably our favorite home ever in Maine. Just perfect for the two of us. Loved the neighborhood. Spectacular view. Kitchen was very well appointed. Water was good. Private, but not secluded. Very nice linens and towels. Loved all of the small touches like night lights and helpful hints posted about the home. Liked having the keypad vs. a key. The heating/air-conditioning units worked very well. TV was great with plenty of channels. The porch was a favorite spot. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. One complaint is that the bed was not the most comfortable. The mattress needs to be upgraded. Lastly, we felt more firewood should have been provided. We highly recommend Benner's Tree Service for additional firewood.

We loved the quiet location and the amenities in the house especially the washer dryer for all the wet towels and clothes.

We had a lovely three-week stay at Ducktrap Cottage, our third in as many years. The large property is so private, Penobscot Bay is a few beautiful steps away, the towns of Lincolnville, Belfast and Camden are handy for meals out and additional charming villages make delightful and easy day trips.... What more could anyone want? For two people who enjoy living simply, nothing.

We have rented multiple houses from On the Water in Maine, spanning the last 6yrs.or so.This house in Camden and one in Owls head and several on different Lakes with Boats for my daughter & children. Never once has there been an issue that wasn't taken care of immediately-when you call,you get immediate personal service from Justin or Meg.Our vacations are Effortless and their properties all top-notch.I wouldn't rent from Any one else.

This is our 5th or 6th summer in this location. Its very convenient to Downtown Camden and all their events.It overlooks the Harbor and has a secluded back Porch to sit and read or chat. The inside is very roomy and well appointed.

On the Water in Maine is very easy to work with and if there are any concerns, it is easy to get a response from them and they are very welcoming. The material they leave in the rentals is informative even for those of us who are frequent Maine visitors and already have our favorite places.

This is an absolutely lovely place and you cannot ask for a better view...overlooking Rockport Harbor. It is comfortable and decorated nicely and has everything you could possibly need. We loved staying there.

Altus Cottage is an excellent place to stay while vacationing in Maine. The owner spared no expense building or furnishing this home. We have rented this house the last 2 yrs and love it. The view is great, it is perfectly located and is just comfortable to live in. I would recommend this home to anyone to rent for their vacation. You won't be disappointed.

On the Water in Maine was so great to work with. Everyone was super friendly, and answered all of our questions. Justin answered the phone on a Sunday, and we asked a question that he wasn't sure about, and he called back within five minutes! Great agency!!!

Loon Landing was by far the best place we have ever rented. The house was amazing, with an amazing view of the lake, very clean, and very peaceful. I will definitely be returning!

OTWM was always responsive and helpful from the moment I called to make a reservation for next year when we checked out. They are very professional and respect their as well as their renters. Email communication was very efficient and the Property Book included everything we needed to know about the home.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home in Rockport. The setting was perfectly Maine and the well designed home just added to the ambiance. We love to cook and the well equipped kitchen made meal prep very enjoyable.

Compass Rose was a lovely spot for a getaway. Clean, close to the Bay and centrally located for drives to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The cottage was as promised.

On the Water in Maine Inc. has been wonderful to deal with. Always very polite and helpful with the information forwarded in their emails inviting and friendly. Clearly the owners have been doing this for one or two years! :-)

We loved staying at the Crow's Nest in Bayside! With an unbeatable view of the ocean, wrap-around covered porch and a large green space adjacent to the property, we could not have asked for anything better. There were only two of us, so having the extra bedroom was good for storing our suitcases and such and otherwise had plenty of space. The little island in the kitchen was very helpful. As it happened, as we were finishing packing the car to leave, one of your associates stopped by to check on the condition of the unit and mentioned this property may not be available next year due to the owner's wanting to make some improvements. Hopefully, whatever improvements are made can be finished by this time next year because we would love to go back to this spot!

The house is perfect. Great location. Comfortable and cozy.

On the Water in Maine was very professional. The kept us informed and up to date. We arranged our reservation in March and On the Water stayed in touch right up until we checked in in September.

Cozy and secluded and offers a peaceful escape. The dock is a wonderful place to sit and have morning coffee while you are facing directly east to watch the sun rise. Furthermore, having a canoe available allows you to experience the lake beyond the dock. It allowed us to experience the local wildlife. Specifically, the loons, the king fisher, Canadian gees, Herons, Ospreys, and a wide variety of ducks. The cottage itself was clean and well furnished. We enjoyed having our meals at the kitchen bar, the sunroom or outside in the sitting area. While it was my husband and I, the cottage is perfect for a small family.

This is our second time working with ON THE WATER IN MAINE and all we can say is VERY PROFESSIONAL. Their website is very user friendly and their emails very informative. Every staff member we spoke to was very friendly and helpful.

SO ROMANTIC!!! The beautiful stone fireplace, the hot tub, the king size bed and the amazing views from it, the window seat, the claw foot tub and the privacy of the property all were incredibly romantic. We loved that the deck was shaded in the afternoon by the property trees. We often laid on the comfortable lounging deck chairs and watched the full moon rise. There are 3 televisions on the property and we did not turn one on even once. The views commanded our attention. AMAZING!!!

Everything was spelled out as far as billing and the rental depiction was accurate no surprises

Grove Street Cottage is a very thoughtfully and tastefully furnished home in a very convenient location. Everything in the home was very comfortable; the beds, the living room and patio furniture, and even the benches at the kitchen table. Lovely indeed. In almost every way this rental was absolutely wonderful. The only drawbacks for us were that, having the windows open on the third floor, the traffic noise at night was significant and being an old house, and being that the owner has chosen to leave floor joists exposed, sound between the second and third floors is also significant.
