Small company that remembers people from previous stays.

Great house. This was our 2nd visit and we enjoyed it very much. The netflix was a great thing to have. We would be back again next year, but my wife is a painter and has painted out all the vew from this property. I would recomend this house to anyone.

You made it very easy to be organized because of your own high standards!

On The Water In Maine is the most professional agency I've ever rented from. Nothing is left to chance - they take care of everything. When Hurricane Matthew was threatening the coast last week we even received two weather reports from them letting us know our property wouldn't be affected. Their entry and driving directions are exact and easy to follow. When we couldn't figure out how to use the television, Justin was there immediately to show us what to do.

This is the most user-friendly house I've ever rented. Having two different sleeping levels with a loft space for the kitchen, dining area and living room makes it perfect for two families or two couples. There was ample parking, plenty of closet space and everything was clean and new. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to navigate. The beds were very comfortable.

The agency was a pleasure to deal with. Everyone who we spoke to really seemed to care and made us feel like a fellow human rather than a number.

The property was perfect in all respects. We have rented vacation houses in much of the world for the past 30+ years and none were any better.

What a wonderful experience, again. It's our second time renting through On the Water in Maine and a huge amount of thanks go to Justin and all those who made us feel so special. Anytime we had a question, it was as if we were the only party they were caring for. We all have wonderful memories and are eagerly looking forward to renting again from you.

This lodge was so fully equipped with high quality dishes and appliances, making food preparation, serving, and clean up so enjoyable. There is plenty of space and chairs everywhere to gather together (6 couples in our group) for every activity throughout the day and then retreat to our own comfortable, private bedrooms and baths. Not to be missed is the day sails and/or harbor cruises in Camden; and touring & shopping in Belfast, Camden, and Bar Harbor made easy by central location of this property. Spectacular property, great weather, wonderful friends, and fun recreation made all seven days the best vacation ever! This was our second gathering on the coast of Maine and best yet. I just have to mention the squeals and yells of enjoyment coming from the pool table and shuffle board table competitions.

The house was just great - It was very clean and just about as pictured and described on your website . A great setting ..It was quiet and very peaceful. There were plenty of dishes and glasses and utensils . My wife said that the washer and dryer were great to use and were very efficient .

The Coleman Pond Cottage provided the space and casual atmosphere that made our family feel at home. The view of the pond provided us with the ability to watch bald eagles fishing and loons cruising by. The shabby chic decor was very welcoming.

We returned for third year at The Beachcomber, perfect for our three week vacation. Sunrise and sunset over the water are always spectacular. We love Harpswell location.

Easy Lane Cottage is in a great location. Near Camden, Rockland and many beautiful hiking trails. It is peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed going out in the pond on a rented canoe, reading in the hammock, sitting by the fire and having bonfires. The accommodations were perfect for our group of five.

The agency was easy to work with, accommodating, streamlined most everything.

We truly enjoyed our week in Camden at 40 Sea Street. The location was perfect, walking distance into the harbor and town. The house itself was exactly what we were looking for, extremely clean, very charming, well stocked. We would definitely return to this residence.

The view of the ocean is wonderful. The island is a quiet area. The beds and furniture are comfortable. Great outside decks, and a nice large dining room table.

On the Water In Maine is a terrific agency to work with when renting in Maine. We have found them to be very reliable and someone is always available for questions, advice, or help if needed. They are a valuable resource for area attractions and restaurants. They are also non-intrusive - available if needed but they do not hover. They also are honest in their presentations of the properties they are representing and amazingly organized in the process of securing a rental. I will always turn to On the Water in Maine for rental properties in Maine.

We have just returned from a two week stay at Midpoint and could not have been more pleased with the property. It is a beautiful home with gorgeous views of the ocean and Rockport Bay. The owners have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Cooking utensils and dishes are plentiful for those who want to cook. Furnishings and beds are comfortable and water views are available from every room in the house. The little beach across the private road was fun to visit, especially at dusk when the sun was going down. The little barn on the property has a wonderful apartment for extra guests. Our visit to Maine was most memorable and much of that feeling has to do with the spectacular home called Midpoint where we stayed.

This is our third rental from On the Water in Maine, and each time, my appreciation for their detail, efficiency, responsiveness, and thoughtfulness increases. Satisfied customer!

This was the second time we've stayed in The Pinetree Cottage. It's a beautiful home in a spectacular setting (especially when surrounded by fall foliage!). We appreciated the many spaces to either gather or have quiet time by yourself. Breakfasting on the porch became a favorite thing, and it's great to have four bathrooms. If you have a large party and intend to use the single beds--they are very firm and are uncomfortable for me (but that might be your preference). Also, be aware that you are in the middle of a very private family compound. This is good because it's relatively quiet and very peaceful. But the dock is shared--and so you will have people occasionally walking within yards of your front door. The first time this happened, we were taken aback; but our neighbors were very gracious and friendly, and we soon grew accustomed to this and appreciated the privilege of enjoying this cottage for a week.
