Perfect combination of classic Maine beach cottage with modern cons. Beautiful views. Open lovely living room with water views. Great for kids, loved turkey flock and deer herd which meander about the property. Roomy enuf for three generations to share comfortably

Enjoyed the house and the property very much. Loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Enjoyed the views from the property, the firepit, walking on the new dock. Furniture was comfortable, kitchen pretty well stocked. Good location for visiting Damariscotta, Boothbay and Pemaquid.

Hobbs pond has the cleanest water I've ever seen for a pond. It was warm and we could see the bottom! Perfect place to swim and kayak! The house worked well for our family of four.

Quiet, peaceful and a fantastic view of Penobscot Bay from the cozy porch. It was great to come back to for relaxing after a full day of touring. They really thought of everything to help give it a home away from home feel; there were fresh cut flowers on the table when we arrived and a kitchen full of everything we would possibly need from kabob skewers & grilling tools to a lobster pot (and instructions), and everything in-between. It was very clean with what looked like brand new furniture and a sweet mix of art and antiques throughout. We loved the safe feel of a private location being off and away from busy streets but close enough to get there when we wanted to. We would recommend Harmony Cottage to anyone wanting to visit Maine!

The house and the views from everywhere were absolutely stunning. The house itself was beautifully laid out and perfectly suited for the number of people who stayed there. Every - and I mean every - kitchen item was perfect.

The staff is always courteous and responsive. The property is well managed, well kept and updates are made every year. They listen to their guests and do an outstanding job of attending to their needs. Renting through them is efficient, informative and highly organized. They have an outstanding website that is easy to navigate and contains all the information needed to decide on a property to rent.

We return to Juniper Bank year after year because the house is large, comfortable and is equipped with all the necessities of modern living. The view of the water, islands and Owls Head harbor is our favorite feature of the house. It is also convenient to Rockland and all the boating, entertainment, restaurants, art galleries, walking trails, etc. the area has to offer.

The view from this house is amazing! We loved having coffee on the porch in the morning and wine in the afternoon! We walked to the general store and the Dip Net everyday!

We thought the property management agency responded well to any requests and concerns and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

OWM was very helpful during the nearly year long process of finding a property, settling on dates, negotiating our dog, and understanding physical details of the property. I think this is a company that excels in customer service and tries very hard to accommodate clients. This makes OWM exceptional.

Overall a wonderful house for we 6 adults, 2 children, 1 toddler, and our family dog. Plenty of room both inside and outside. Nicely situated on a peninsula without any neighbors nearby so if the children wanted to run and shout there was no worry about bothering neighbors. The dock was great for launching the kayaks and the kayaking around this area was so beautiful. The rocky beach and groomed trails kept the children endlessly entertained. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked with equipment, at least 3 different types of coffee makers, not just the Keruig type. Dishware and cutlery was very nice and plenty of it. Then there was the quiet! So tranquil and peaceful. Really helped all of us recharge our personal batteries.

This was our second time with On the Water in Maine Inc. and we look forward to more vacations in their properties. We recommend them highly!

We had a terrific time! Barretts Cove Cottage was perfect: light, airy, well-designed, beautifully appointed and new. I loved the many windows, the ceiling fans in each room, the back porch overlooking the lawn, picnic table, chairs, beautiful dock and, of course, the lake. The bed was comfortable and I loved the honeycomb top down/bottom up blinds that provided light and privacy. Everything in the cottage was top notch!

The cottage was quaint and comfortable. The lake was our favorite feature, the view, the dock and peace and quiet they offered were just what we were looking for in our vacation.
