Our 4th year with On the Water in Maine- they have been great every step of the way

The dock and front deck! Love the coziness of the cottage as well.

Overall, a very nice rental. Loon's Nest is an attractive,spacious house on a gorgeous lake. The lake is quiet and clean. The house is bright and cheerful. The screen porch is great--we ate there every evening. There is ample space for everyone. The furniture could be in better shape. Prospective renters should know two bedrooms don't have doors,and there is only one shower.

The agency was terrific with all of our questions - check in and check out were a breeze. Top notch company!

We loved our stay at Seagate Cottage! You can see the ocean from practically any corner of the house (except 2nd bedroom upstairs) and the screened in patio is wonderful. We spent lots of time out there enjoying nature and the views, especially when the weather was rainy! The house was in excellent condition, exactly as advertised - we were very happy with your stay.

Booking was a breeze and the communication and ability to do everything electronically was awesome!

We loved the place! Lazy Days was a great place to stay! Its definitely on a steep slope but that was ok - got my cardio in each day. The lake is beautiful and enjoyed swimming. There was plenty of room and having two full bathrooms was nice.

We have rented many times in the area, and this house easily passed the "family" test. We all enjoyed the open space and the multi floor sleeping arrangements with good bathrooms for all. The setting was special.

Once I requested the rental property I was immediately contacted by the On The Water in Maine staff. They are courteous and very helpful. Throughout the process I received updates and information so that once we arrived we were very comfortable and had no surprises.

The Light Keeper was the perfect spot for my siblings and I spend a relaxing week together. The house is perched on a hillside that gives you beautiful views of the bay and plenty of spots to sit, relax and enjoy the fresh air. The bedrooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped with a large eat in area along with a dining room and outdoor seating. The living room has furniture that invites you to relax. And to top it all off, the beautiful view of the bay!

All communications were handled with great care.

The process of renting, checking in and checking out was easy and quick. The one small issue we had during our stay with a mechanical problem in the house was addressed quickly and completely with no inconvenience to us. We wholeheartedly recommend On the Water in Maine.

We loved our stay at Belfast Cottage. It is so comfortable, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. Our favorite part was the open concept kitchen/dining/living area. We hung out there every day and really loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Harmony Cottage. Loved using the porch with the great views of the bay. The house is very well stocked to make everything easy - especially liked they had everything for cooking. Access to a nice cove is just steps away.

The location is retreat like, peaceful, quiet, relaxing. Swimming was one of our favorite activities. We like going to Lincolnville to have lobster.

Very professional company that takes pride in their work, business and the properties they manage. They genuinely want their guests to have a wonderful experience.

We loved Crows Nest. The house is nicely updated and feels very clean and fresh. The view of the bay is unbeatable. We enjoyed getting out on the water in our raft and swimming off the pier. We also enjoyed climbing on rocks and hunting for sea glass during low tide.

Easy to work with, very responsive and welcoming.

We like the privacy, close proximity to the lake, and private dock. We rented stand up paddle boards and used them every day. The house had plenty of space for our family of four.

The house was very nice. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and items needed to prepare meals. The location was beautiful. We enjoyed going down to the boat dock and watching the lobstermen check traps from the deck.

We have stayed in 5 different homes on Megunticook Lake over the last 20 years and this one was by far the nicest. The location was beautiful, perfect front yard leading down to the lake. The home was well stocked with all the items needed for our family. We will absolutely stay here again.

This is a very nice property in a great location within Belfast. Easy walking to downtown or a park and oceanfront. Amenities and space is good.

The cottage is beautiful- bright & cheerful and lives up to the photos on the website. We loved the screened porch - perfect for a morning coffee or a glass of wine at the end it the day.

My experience with On the Water in Maine Inc. was great! I had spent excessive amount of time looking on my own for rental properties when I finally stumbled upon this agency. They found me this spot very quickly along with multiple other rentals that were high contenders.

Our stay was fantastic! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to stay in the Boothbay Harbor region. The house alone was beautifully decorated, but I think the biggest highlight for my family was the view from the kitchen, back porch and master bedroom of the harbor. Our family took to hanging out on the back porch or down on the dock because the views (even with some fog) are breathtaking. The barn across the road was also a huge hit! Not only was it much bigger than we thought, but it too was beautifully decorated. The road between the two places was perfectly safe for my nieces and nephews to run across to get back and forth from each place with ease. The only drawback about the barn was the lack of AC and since it sits back off the water, the breeze is not very strong. I would suggest the next guests to bring additional fans to use along with the ones provided in the barn.

On the Water in Maine was very responsive to all of our needs and concerns, and the staff was very pleasant and professional to deal with as well.

My family and I had a fabulous time at the Maitri House. The house is beautiful and well-appointed, and so are the grounds. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want and need, and the ping pong table was a huge hit with our family. Perhaps the best feature of all was the large and very comfortable dock. Count us in at Maitri House next year!

The company was easy to work with and there were no surprises.

We had a wonderful week at the Seafarer. We especially enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen and huge windows overlooking the bay.
