Beautiful site at the mouth of the Camden Maine harbor.

Very responsive and easy to work with.

We stayed at Captains Catch because it's close to all the great things Boothbay Harbor offers. Love the master bedroom so airy.

Over the past 30 years we have rented from a number of other agencies in Maine and things have not always gone smoothly, this was not the case with On the Water in Maine. The staff was very professional, the website was easy to use, their instructions were clear and correspondence was punctual.

The property was in great condition, the hiking trails were an added bonus. We brought with us a 17' center console boat and made full use of the dock. Friendship is a quiet little town, sufficiently removed from Route 1 and the tourist path. Wallace's General Store and Jameson Point Lobster were close buy and provided everything we needed. The basement rec room served us well on rain days, though we discovered that none us will ever make a living playing pool.

We have been working with On the Water in Maine for many years. We are always completely pleased with their service. In our view, a superior company!

This house has many features that make it a pleasant rental. It sits on a large and beautiful piece of property with some nice landscaping. The main living area, kitchen, master bedroom, and huge main bath all have views of the river. There is also a deck with flowerpots and furniture to enjoy the passing of an occasional boat and the birds. It is a peaceful place to relax. The house is stocked with adequate cookware and ample linens. The availability of a half bath on the main floor is a nice feature. There are many books and other items that make this rental feel like home. The additional sitting rooms are nice places to spend time as well. There are comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms. The town of Damariscotta, which has some nice shops, a supermarket, several restaurants, and an amazing ice cream store is only a short drive away. My only caution would be that anyone with mobility issues should be aware that the walk back to the house from the dock could be difficult, as the house sits up on a fairly steep hill.

On the Water in Maine is easily the best agency we have worked with on the East Coast. All my interactions with the staff have been very pleasant & professional. They really go the extra mile. The property description was very accurate, we received very helpful, detailed driving instructions and it was very easy getting into the property and not having to worry about losing keys. It was nice to be able to use my credit card for the reservations (a real plus for those with travel rewards cards). I also got great suggestions for hiking and restaurants. Whenever I had a question, they did a great job of answering it. This is truly a 5-star agency!

Blue Heron Cottage is a wonderful, tastefully decorated property with a spectacular water view. We especially loved the open floor plan, the wraparound deck and the floor to ceiling windows. It felt like we were in our own private paradise and yet we were just a 15-minute drive to downtown Rockland. We enjoyed watching both sunsets & sunrises from the deck as well as star-gazing on clear nights and, of course, watching the lobster boats come in & out. A great blue heron often "greeted" us from the woods bordering the drive and a very friendly squirrel that we had been feeding throughout the week brought us a large mushroom on our last day as a parting gift! We will have many special memories of this magical place and hope to return soon.

On the Water in Maine is a high-end vacation service we've enjoyed using for many years and we will keep coming back.

We love the open downstairs of the house and how you can see the bay from every window on the back side of the house. There are many spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and it's luxurious living there!

On the Water in Maine offers many great properties and make the booking process very easy. We have used them several times and have never been disappointed.

The Beachcomber is a delightful house located right on the water. It is perfect for families that like to kayak. The home is spacious and has three floors that allow for group time as well as privacy for down time. The kitchen is very well equipped and great for vacationers that like to cook. The large deck and screened in porch provide great outdoor living space and offer beautiful views overlooking the water. The Beachcomber is truly a gem.

Working with the agency was very easy. Everything is spelled out and they have always been very resonsive when called.

Our third time staying at Crocketts Beach. Our favorite feature is definitely the location..just steps to the sandy beach where we can find sea treasures and walk to the small island at low tide. The house itself is well stocked and has everything we needed for our stay.

We always enjoy the proximity to Camden-walking distance. Cottage meets all our needs. We do not need more than row bedrooms which makes Captains Cottage perfect for us.

We loved the house, and the property. It was the perfect getaway for an extended family. The house is beautiful -- clean, modern, and tasteful decor -- with all the bells and whistles you would ever need. We had everything we need right at our fingertips -- the kids enjoyed playing in the spacious yard, diving off the dock, and lounging in the many nooks and crannies throughout the house and property. We hope to return!

The view from the porch is just magnificent! And, having a dock to jump off of was so much fun and convenient. My husband and I took a swim in the ocean almost everyday.

Easy to work with and very professional.

This was a family week for us...and the first time in Cape Elizabeth. Three generations of us used this cottage and had SO MUCH FUN! The property is very unique and the views are amazing. It is a Maine cottage in every sense of the word...simple, rustic and well loved. We had wonderful weather which made a big difference when you are in this remote spot. The access to the beaches and the water allowed for all sorts of activities. Once we got the lay of the land, every aspect of the property was an adventure. Portland isn't too far away and some of the family went into town in the evening. The turkeys and deer entertained us all!

This is our first year using On the Water and it was great. You helped guide us in our choice of the second rental and everyone was so nice when we spoke to them. I would definitely recommennd this company to friends.

This is an exceptional rental.... it was just like staying at home. From the Claire Murray hooked rugs to the game closet, it reminded me of all the years we had a home on the Maine coast. The views were so amazing and we loved just sitting on the deck or roaming on the rocks at low tide.

All of our experiences with the agency were very positive. Everything went off without a hitch.

ON the Water in Maine was easy to work with and there were no complaints, at all. Communication was clear and we walked in and walked out of the house with no issues what-so-ever. The agency was great.

We had an amazing 2 week stay at the Glass House in Cushing, ME. The entire side of the house that faces the ocean is glass. Incredible views and watching the lobster boats check their traps we great. It is secluded but that is a good thing. We had no problem finding stores, restaurants, and anything else you might need. The grocery store was a little drive but all well worth the drive to get to stay in an amazing place. We will visit again.

I think this is our 5th year renting with OTW and never had an issue. Homes have been perfect.

Best porch overlooking Crescent Beach. Easy access to beach even for my 3 year old grandson.

On the Water is a very thorough and professional agency. I have been renting through them for several years and I have never had a complaint with their service.

The cottage is very nice and comfortable. Potential renters should be alerted that the path down to the lake is quite steep, which could make it unsafe or inaccessible for an elderly or disabled person. Additionally, there is no public boat launch on the lake, so you have to carry your kayaks or canoes up and down the aforementioned steep slope. The dock and swim float are very nice and the swimming was excellent. Crawford Pond is rather large for a pond, with large swaths of the shoreline undeveloped. There is also an island wild life preserve in the middle of the pond. There were quite a few loons around, as well as bald eagles. A beautiful place to vacation!

Tried to have little contact. We are in the rental business ourselves..... we would go a long way not to call with problems.

Our favorite features of Babb Camp were: the view, the canoe, the huge porch, the triple dock which allowed late afternoon sitting in the sun

We couldnt have been happier with the property. The views from every room were beautiful and the location was great. It was private but not isolated and close to Brunswick. We made thorough use of the large yard and spent evenings on the dock watching the sunset or around the fire pit. We will hopefully return next year.

I came to On the Water 6 years after a terrible experience while trying to secure a rent for our family vacation. We almost didn`t get one! On the Water in Maine is there for you. The hardest part of On the Water in Maine is too many great choices!

As always every thing is as shown! We love being in this almost private, peaceful setting and yet we`re a short ride from everything.

Lovely house with a wonderful view. The swivel chairs are just marvelous.
